What Klaus did to Stefan doesn't just go away. He took away everyone Stefan has ever had. As Stefan said, he felt he lost Elena the moment he left with Klaus. You can't just make that all go away, Klaus left permanent damage on Stefan. Revenge is part of human nature, and apparently vampire nature too, it's natural for Stefan to want it.
It's like if someone stabbed you, held you in a dungeon, waited for your wounds to somewhat heal, then let you go. Would you be all, "yay I got my freedom?". I guess if you're a very good person, yes, but most people would want revenge.
I already knew Elena was in love with Damon, I'm sure Matt thought she meant "vampires" plural as in reference to Stefan. Until she admits it directly to Damon, I won't fangirl out.
Matt and Elena talking to each other was hilarious. They are both so bland it was hard to appreciate their scene. It was like a Cardboard Reunion. Only them could turn Caroline's birthday into a funeral.
Anyways, here here to the deaths of the (old) Caroline Forbes and to Elena the party/normal girl?
I wonder if Meredith really is coo-coo bananas and killed the medical examiner. The actress for her annoys me and the way her and Ric were interacting seemed forced in my eyes.
Is Caroline Klaus' new love interest? Don't tell me. Now talk about that being dysfunctional, even though I highly doubt it. But I don't like a sad Caroline, so if it took Klaus to cheer her up, I'm for it. And I love Klaus.
I have a feeling they're ruining Forwood gradually. I mean the whole "I love you" then trying-to-kill-you think was just twisted.
I'd like to believe that Steffle would have driven off the bridge, but I doubt it. It was pretty cruel of him to threaten to do to Elena what happened to her parents the day they died. So while we've established he's not completely off the rocker, he isn't Steffie Cullen yet.
I prefer to say he/she belongs WITH he or she. Not TO. It makes he/she seem less like an object.
This episode will not be that epic, come on. Best episode of television ever? Building it up for what exactly? My hopes are not high, as usual GG is my background music to doing work.
I would drop this show right now, but I've spent too many years watching it to just stop and risk not knowing the end.
Haven't they established that Ted's wife is a blonde? If so, all those actress with dark hair would be out...and I can't imagine many of those being names here as blondes. I think they should go for an unknown.
The opposite, in fact. When referring to Stella he said if he married her his kids WOULD HAVE been blonde. This implies his wife is not.
By the way, I'd be a lot more open if Ezra had consulted Aria's parents the minute he first dated their daughter. Aria is a minor, he's not, and although she may seem all "mature" she really is only in high school. If he had the permission of Aria's parents to date Aria, it would be fine. I should rephrase that, cheating-dad's opinions on this matter don't count, only the mother's does.
I'm sorry but I disagree. The minute Ezra decided to pursue a relationship with Aria, and yes he decided to, he should have left his job. And I know, giving up your job is a lot to risk in these hard times. But then you know what? You don't pursue a romantic relationship with your student. It's against the law, and what he agreed to when becoming a teacher. When Ezra decided to date Aria, KNOWING she was a student, I lost respect for him. If she is worth that much to him he should have transferred. And I know that he needed time to discover that he really did care for Aria before he did something so drastic, but what he did with Aria was illegal. And I know a sexual relationship wasn't hinted so I'm not accusing him of that. I find them very sweet together in a hopeless romantic way, but I'm still disturbed that he'd go against the rules of his workplace to be with her. He is completely deserving of whatever consequences come his way.
Bryan wants better for his daughter than himself. Bryan is a faggot-douche who had an affair with one of his students, and doesn't want his daughter to be in that situation. Of course, EZRA ISN'T MARRIED unlike Aria's stupid father, but he fails to see the difference.
Aria and Ezra are so wrong, I don't care if they're "in love": Ezra is her teacher: point simple. He should've been the one to end it, like a mature adult would. However Bryan has no right in hell to judge him, he is trying to relate it to his personal experience with a teacher-student affair. I wonder if Bryan will have more problems with his wife now that this brings arise to Bryan's past affair.
Louis: How do I deal with fighting for a girl that has two other important guys in her life who are in love with her?
Serena: I usually flash my boobs.
Louis: Do moobs work as well?
Serena: Why is Blair always in the spotlight? Why do people always like Blair better?
Louis: Funny thing is Sayrayna, she used to say the same about you.
Serena: How did that change?
Louis: People realized you're a dumb, moronic skank.
Serena: Better than being a useless brick everyone wants dead.
Louis: Point taken.
Serena: Even an idiot like myself can realize that you have no purpose on this show.
Louis: Well, what's your purpose?
Serena: Well, I have big boobs that I show off in low-cut clothes like right now.
Louis: You win.
But I totally get why some people are thorougly against Elena doing what she did, because she essentially took her brother's rights away and didn't respect his wants.
I just am okay with it because at least Elena was TRYING to help her brother.
Jer was sacrificing so much to be with his sister and it was eating away at him. Although it may have not been the best decision (for Elena) to make in terms of morality, in the long run Jeremy will in fact benefit from this. At least I think, you never know with TVD. There is only so much free will a teenager can be given. And I say this as someone who is younger than 16, so I'm not saying that teenagers are incapable of making good decisions or thinking for themselves. However, I know full well that sometimes teenagers make BAD decisions and that's where guardians/parents/adults come in; to make sure you're wellbeing is not at risk. Then again this is just my opinion. I think from a moral standpoint compulsion is wrong, but I won't bash Elena for doing this because she did have her brother's best interest at heart.
Elena is Jeremy's guardian. Unless if Alaric is Jeremy's guardian, but it doesn't matter b/c he approved of the compulsion as well. That means, since Jer is a minor, they are able to make decisions for him. If a parent moves and their 16 year old wants to stay, will the 16 year old stay? No, of course not unless he/she becomes emancipated. Elena is an adult, and she felt the best thing to do for her brother was to give him a better life elsewhere. One could argue that she is not allowing Jer free will, but when it comes down to it she is trying to save his life.
Bonnie was working on some new spells? Who would've thought! I mean it's not like the only purpose she has on the show is to be a meaningless plot device who does spells from a stupid Grimoire. Right?
Alaric dead again. He has died so many times I don't get surprised anymore. It seemed like a convenient way I guess to introduce him to his new love interest though. She doesn't seem like a great actress, I hope she gets booted off soon. Verdict: More Caroline, I need to learn some common sense and stop liking DE (I like them because I try to imagine book Elena and Damon. I adore them together in the books, so I try to imagine them together on the show). Also, there was not Mutt! Yay. Keep it that way, he's just as useless as Louis from GG!
I missed Caroline this episode, tbh the only thing the retarded fangirl in me liked was the DE kiss. Other than that, the plot hasn't developed in any way. Klaus will do whatever to get his family back, we know that. Jeremy skipping town? Good. He has no reason to be in Mystic Falls anyway. I don't understand why Elena doesn't skip town too, maybe not to the same place as Jeremy, but to a different country. She could buy a new house and never invite anyone in. I know she wants to be "stronger" than that but it just seems like the logical move. I hate how Elena was acting towards Tyler. He didn't ASK to be sired, show some empathy will you? She acted like he asked for this, and she acted like he should feel GUILTY for liking the benefits being a hybrid has given him. He was going through hell with those transitions, anyone would be happy to be free of them. Not all characters are as "good" as her though and she does not have the capacity to understand that.
