Surprised Agents of SHIELD didn't make it on or even Arrow. SHIELD- It was super dramatic ending that added a whole other side to the MCU. It's ending could even be considered more important than any of the others because of how far the repercussions will reach with Marvel. Arrow- Not many shows can straight up kill their main character. Yes, other shows have done it ::cough::Supernatural::cough:: but it was still quite a shocking ending. Even if you know exactly how he is resurrected.
Obviously there is going to be disagreement in any list, but I am surprised at a few of the choices. I think the SHIELD- May vs. Agent 33 fight is the biggest exclusion. That fight was spectacular with that head on the table slam. Especially with all of the double work since she was wearing Amy's face at the time. I liked it better than the May/Ward fight. Person of Interest- Root vs. Rousseau: This one is just a personal favorite of mine even though it's just a gun fight. The awkward but fun movements while the machine and samaritan were telling them what to do was extremely fun. I would personally probably replace either the Mirakuru arrow fight, Flash fight, or the Once Upon a Time fight with that Shield battle. Just talking about it makes me want to see May destroy Agent 33 again. "You talk too much."
Great episode. You mentioned that there was no coming back for Grant if he had killed his parents, but you are forgetting something. There already is no going back for him. Coulson's reaction when he said he was still a part of the team a few episodes ago says it all. The guy is a sociopath. Nothing is going to redeem him on this show.
And by saying outside people can't insert themselves into the game is just being naive. How could they not. There have been taxi drivers who have clouded before. Not at this level, but directions discussed. I am sure there are taxi drivers who respond negatively to bad racers and positive to good ones and drive accordingly. This is the same exact thing. Unless you have the racers drive everywhere themselves, this type of thing will always happen. How many times have people found a local willing to escort them everywhere they need to go. I am sure they were doing that out of the good of their own heart. Not at all because there were cameras on them and it seemed exciting to do. Nothing wrong happened in this episode. and it made it crazy exciting to see how it would all play out.
How were they cheated? What did Ernie/Cindy and Marcus/Amani do that would be considered cheating? The show is half skill/talents half luck. This is no more cheating than a first place team having a taxi break down and coming in last because of it. It's not their fault the taxi broke down, but that's the risk of the show. Also teams all the time say to follow others cabs. Whether they know where they are going or not. Why isn't that cheating? It's not fair play in the game. If anything Andy/Tommy did it to themselves. They had one word to go off of and just told the driver who took them to the port. They had no idea why they should even be there. If they had stopped and asked and gone to the Balboa statue first, they might have made it back in time for the taxi cab collusion. Again, how is it cheating??? The teams realized Jeremy/Sandy knew where they were going so decided to follow their directions.
Dude. barney and Robin are not Barbin. you should now the fan community prefers Swarkles. Come on! :)
A great episode again. I enjoyed that Jasmine actually listened to Crosby. He did have a point. I also echo the agreement that if she wants to date the Doc, he should not be their kids pediatrician. It is way too weird and innapropriate. I just love this show so much. The strength they draw from family is always amazing.
No the name IS referencing the costume. It was cut in strategic places which earned her the nickname "slutty pumpkin." Ted didn't know her well enough to know if the character was actually slutty. Since she didn't go home with him that night, I would say no.
I am sold on this show. Best new series of the season. Can it sustain this quality. For a season at least I hope. Super creepy opening and home invasion.
There has always been times where teams will help out other teams by giving them the answer. That isn't cheating. Although I was shocked they gave Marcus that tip. He is going to be very strong competition if he stays in. Maybe they think Amani slows him down so that's enough of a reason to keep them in the race. Even though their hint barely helped him.
