"Nate reconnects with Diana, who offers him an exciting opportunity." - Honestly? What the hell writers?! Stop giving him relationships! I'd like to see Nate go at least 5 episodes without being in a relationship! It's all the ever give him! This character is literally becoming a character without purpose and any future potential!
People, is everyone suffering from memory loss? There was a THREE week jump after the conclusion of the season 4 storylines. Which means we could see flashbacks of ANYTHING. For example: Someone visiting Blair or Serena, who dumped their pregnancy test in the bin. Serena could have had ANY amount of numerous partners (as she's a slut). That pregnancy test COULD be irrelevant/fake placed by Charlie/Ivy and someone actually DOES turn up pregnant - like GEORGINA. Yeah, it's happened before, but this IS Gossip Girl. It's known for it's manipulative plots and cunning ways of tricking us all to look one way, when we should be looking the other.
There has been no photos of Blair pregnant. And we all know that IF Blair were pregnant, that she would leave Louis and go back to Chuck. She loves Chuck far too much, to stay with another man and let him raise his potential child. Blair would find a way of getting a test done to find out the paternity. It's Blair Waldorf! She knows her shit.
It seems too obvious that the baby would be Blair's and if Michael Ausiello is writing; "Prepare to be shocked. I certainly was.", than clearly it is someone we least suspect. Besides, I don't see the writers giving Blair or any other real character a baby this season, as it's too soon. It would ruin Blair's character.
I think showing the rest of Alex's family would make his redemption progress a lot more easier, as the other characters would witness what he had grown around and what he has been through. However, I assume that once Meredith gets her job back, everything will be sweet with him.
I love that The CW picked this up! It's a really good show. I honestly cannot wait till next week.
The fact that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ioan Gruffed are on this show just makes it so much better!
I feel horrible for Naomi, but is she actually pregnant or not? The doctor said it was a false alarm, but then she came back in and Naomi woke up! I just wish that her story about the pregnancy was more explained, other than a letter, that she didn't complete! I feel bad enough for her, but to get arrested from pot that wasn't hers, by throwing it in a bonfire? What a fool. Although, I gotta admit that I love her house.
Silver and Navid just bother me, and when I see them living together or acting as a couple, I wanna turn off my TV.
As for Adrianna, when I saw her article in a magazine "I've changed", I was actually laughing my ass off. I love her character and such, but why the hell was she in Africa? As for apologizing to Silver, that couldn't have gone better. However, anyone else notice how Dixon was really sympathetic to Adrianna with that soft arm touch?
As for Liam, I like the guy, but what a horrible way to purpose to Annie. Honestly, "Lets do this!". I mean, seriously? However, I must admit that what he did at Naomi's party, was really romantic. BUT THE SECOND SHE SAID "NO" I COULD NOT CONTROL MY LAUGHTER! Also, Annie is right, there is something more to it. Speaking of which, how the hell did he get drunk enough to buy a bar?
Teddy, well, I don't really have much input, but I look forward to his coming out story. Mainly due to the fact he told his dad on a voicemail! XD
As for Dixon, if I were him, I would have hit Navid in the face. "I changed your application, because of the Snoop Dog thing". Seriously, dude? You screwed up your friends college years and living arrangements because of that? I looked forward to Dixon living with Liam, but living with this Austin guy would be interesting. Especially considering it looks like she slept with Austin, even though he's meant to be a love interest for Naomi.
As for Ivy (and Raj), I like the fact that they're living together with Naomi and co. Gotta love Ivy's one liners. Hopefully her character does improve on me this season.
As for things, when that guy at the bar said "Do I need to be checking I.D" to actors that are aged 27-33, I was laughing so hard.
Maybe he becomes her sponsor after she spirals out of control and eventually goes to AA?
OR maybe he is a party animal, who she meets at a club drinking and he offers her a pill and well, you know the rest. :)
THANK GOD!
I was about to give up on True Blood if Tara was gone! I hope she's alive. Sookie's been through enough, as has LaFyette. Losing their bestfriend/cousin would just be even more traumatizing!
I look forward to see how Alan Ball turns her character from being emotionally troubled to having "big plans".
I have to agree with majority of things that the reviewer has said.
I have loved True Blood since it aired and own seasons 1-3 on DVD and WAS expecting to buy season four, however, the finale has just put me right OFF the show.
When I first heard that a character will "die in the finale", I was all "Ehh, it's True Blood, it always happens". I was expecting someone irrelevant, like Hoyt or Holly. Hell, I even thought that by "death" they finally meant Marnie's ghost, but the fact that they killed off NOT one, NOT two, BUT THREE characters that I have loved in ONE episode has literally pissed me right off. I mean, I couldn't give a ratass about Tommy or Debbie Pelt being killed off within the past 3 episodes, but I loved Jesus, Nan AND Tara. I especially feel sorry for the drama Lafyette will go through now that he has lost the man he loves and his cousin/bestfriend.
Unless I hear some good news about ONE of these characters actually returning for season 5, as their death was not actually a death (praying for Tara), I actually have no idea if I am going to tune into season 5 at all.
ALSO, I HAVE A SIDE NOTE: One of the OTHER main plotlines that was left out on this show was the fact that all of the hotshot women were "pregnant" with Jason's babies. Seriously, I hated Crystal and all of her inbred family members, but why use those characters for 3-4 episodes and then finally get rid of them with NO explanation. True Blood is honestly pissing me off with it's lack of explanation of storylines and respect for it's audience.
Hahahaha! How Brenda Walsh of him! In the original, Brenda Walsh only knew a guy for 2 weeks before getting engaged. XD
If this is true, I look forward to it. I'm going to miss Teddy on the show and I hope that the character has a good life once he's off the show. Hopefully he'll be back for guest appearances. Hopefully the guy is Ian. I liked him with Ian.
@Uncle Jackass: How surprising! I wouldn't be surprised if the 100th episode does involve Nate marrying a woman, considering ALL of his storylines revolve around him being in a relationship with a woman.
The fact that both Jenny and Vanessa are gone, has well and truly put me off the show, but as a fan of ONLY Blair and Dan, I will still watch.
The only upside to Jenny leaving was that she was never in the same crowd as Blair, Dan, Serena, Nate and Chuck and that she only really had Eric and storylines that revolved around her family. So I can deal with her absence, however, she'll be truly missed by me.
As for Vanessa, I believe that her character has well and truly made a fine exit on the show and it was believable, as she had nothing keeping her in New York. However, I'm gonna miss the friendship between Dan and herself, as well as the development of their friendship that would have progressed this upcoming season.
