   I understand Dair shippers are happy they are finally getting what they've waited for for so long, but mark my words, that's not going to last. And not because Dan and Blair are not good together, but because the writers don't have an end game or long-term plans. They are just trying to please everyone and the result is a pathetic mockery of the gossip girl we used to know.
   So my advice - brace yourselves for what Chair fans are going through right now.

   At this point, I have just lost all hope not only for Chair, but for the show as a whole. And even though I am a Chair fan, I don't want them to get back together, because what they used to have is now depreciated by Blair's fickle "feelings" and "love" for Dan of all people, as well as by the writers' lack of clear path for the characters.
   And to those who say that Blair has grown up, if growing up means losing your edge, then she sure did grow up. Yay.

   And now let me get to Blair, my favorite character. When she was playing Claire in the play, just for one brief moment I thought she might remember the time when she was an independent, ambitious, career-oriented young woman. But noooo, she is so wrapped up in thinking about guys that she instead realized how much in love Dan was with her. Come on! Didn't you get it from the vows he wrote for you instead of Louis?
   And lastly Chuck... Well, at this point I really hope he just finds someone better who would deserve his love, dedication and persistence, cause Blair sure doesn't know what she wants.

   I totally agree with Sophia and Bbking!
   Are the same people that created the masterpiece GG from season 1 the same ones running the show now? Cause it sure ain't the same!
   I can't freaking stand Dan anymore and not just because of his hideous ugly hair! He has no resemblance to the honest guy who he used to be. I didn't like him back then either, but I could at least respect him. Now he's so self-absorbed that he can't spend 5 min giving a response to Serena about how he feels, completely ignores her altogether, and instead chases a married woman, whose marriage he not only tried to sabotage, but also attempted ruining the love of her life (or what Chair was an episode ago)! And all that while pretending to be the best friend in the world/ knight in shining armor.

   I think the episode and Blair's actions make much more sense if you've watched the awesome movie "The End of the Affair" with Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes. The Blair-Chuck plot was pretty much based on the story in the movie. I do have to admit though that the writing of this GG episode was really poor.
   Let's hope we are pleasantly surprised by the rest of the season.

   This is taking place back at the alumni event. Maybe Blair and Chuck were chosen to be the homecoming Queen and King and this is some sort of a celebration? In any event one thing is for certain - Blair got away from Thorpe in one piece!

   It never even occurred to me that she might be GG. But I think she's either after Nate's money (which would be too obvious) or she'll try to destroy Blair or Serena, if not both. She's wearing the key necklace, because I think this is the new "headband" and the signature of Blair's new mean girls in Columbia. She's also might be using Nate to get to Serena.
   As for GG's website on her laptop, if Jonathan could have hacked GG's server in season 2, then maybe she did the same but took things one step further and will use it to post blasts that will work for her... That'd be interesting to see.

   I was all for Damon and Elena last season, because they make such an interesting and complicated couple and there's so much chemistry between them(and also because I don't really care for Stefan, though he had his first sexy, manly moment when he threatened Elena's father), but after I saw him the way he acted around Katherine I just realized that what he feels for Elena is just a tiny fraction of his feelings for Katherine. He obviously would choose her over Elena if he could and he was ready to forgive a whole century of misery for just one word from Katherine. Then when he went to Elena's house his attempt to make her see she had feelings for him didn't make me happy as it would under different circumstances, because I felt like Damon was just trying to prove to himself that he could get at least one of the two girls/women. And then snapping Jeremy's neck was extremely mean. He wanted to make Elena suffer and feel the pain he was feeling. He obviously couldn't hurt Katherine, so he hurt Elena. I'm sad the relationship between Damon and Elena that took a whole season to be built was destroyed after one rash act. I think it will take another season to rebuild and I really want the two of them to have a chance. But other than that the episode was absolutely amazing!

   Teamchairenate, I agree with everything you said! :) Ed looks good enough to eat! As for Dan- he's been getting on my nerves since season one and it seems like it'll be no different this season either! So much so, that I was actually rooting for Vanessa (!) when she was the one accepted for the Tisch program. Anyways, September 13 can't come fast enough! I miss the fashion and the gossip and all the Chair moments! Ahhhh...

    I just pray to God they won't bring Jenny pregnant with Chuck's baby! Now that will be a deal breaker for me. And btw, why did Dan had to punch Chuck and Jenny acted like a freaking victim when she was all willing to get it on with Chuck? Come on, get real already!

    I totally agree! This motherchucker is seriously starting to get on my nerves and I never thought that possible. But seriously, what exactly has he done so far to deserve Blair's forgiveness and win her back? Hooking up with multiple random models and/or twins while issuing a dating fatwa on Blair ain't gonna cut it! Oh, and add insults to that, well done Bass-tard!
    If I were Blair I'd make him pay just for that. Though it seems like her lack of interest in revenge is even more hurtful to him. Like he's not worth the bother.
    Blair's response is actually showing how much she's grown up during their relationship and that she's ready to move forward and be an adult. While it seems like Chuck learned nothing and lapsed right back to where he was before they got together. He'll need to come up with a new approach and soon if he wants B back, but most of all, he'll have to grow up too.

    Oh, she'll sure get what's coming for her and that's Serena as an enemy. If Blair, the original Queen B herself, had hard time being in war with Serena, then what chance does poor little J stand? Especially with Agnes making a comeback. I really, really hope someone finally teaches her a lesson, cause she has always acted like a spoiled brat.

    Hmm, I hope Gossip Girl doesn't turn into Gossip Whisperer. It'd be really weird if Bart came back as a ghost, haunting Chuck and it'd be even more unrealistic if they decided to revive him. My guess is Chuck would go to his father's grave where he'd see uncle Jack. He'd face some serious problems with him and he'd probably remember something Bart Bass told him that would help him solve the issue with Jack. Though on a second thought, that would be a really lame storyline after all the buzz about the return of Bart Bass. Good thing I'm not one of the writers :D

    LeahF, thanks for posting the Plastiscines sneak, it was awesome! I can't wait for this episode, I hope it's as good as the previews and all the teasing doesn't go to waste. As for the threesome, the DOV possibility is not all that exciting, let's hope the writers will surprise us :) And what if it does involve Chuck and Blair? Remember when Blair asked Chuck to pick for her a girl to kiss so that he can get over the guy kiss? Is it time to get even? Yeah, I know, it's wishful thinking, but a girl can dream :)
