Presenting: The 2012 Emmy Award Awards!
9/24/2012 10:16 AM
I miss the days when the Emmy's honored the shows everyone got to watch. I cannot afford HBO and the other premium channels, therefore no Homeland, no Boardwalk Empire, etc. What happened to no cable programs getting nominated? And if AMC has shows, then why not USA and TNT? Suits is fabulous!
Major Crimes Review: He's Back And Annoying As Hell
9/18/2012 6:15 AM
I loved Major Crimes right from the start. And I have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of Rusty and Rusty and Sharon. Who is the heart? They ALL are. They have a leader in Sharon who doesn't overshadow all of them with her personality or her quirks. And that's definitely not knocking Brenda but allowing for the transition from The Closer (singular) to Major Crimes (ensemble). Julio Sanchez has been amazing! And I sense that each of them will have opportunities to shine.
White Collar Summer Finale Promo: Why Didn't You Tell Me?

Me too - I was thinking that Sam is Neal's father as soon as I saw the previews after last Tuesday's episode!
Major Crimes Review: Julio Sanchez

Loved this episode. It held my interest for the entire hour. However, the character of Sykes seems more disposable to me than Rusty's character.
TV Fanatic Staff Round Table: Most Anticipated Fall Show
9/8/2012 11:46 AM
Person of Interest, NCIS, and then Suits in January. Oh, and Dancing with the Stars just because I dance too, and I love it!
White Collar Review: Built to Fail?
9/5/2012 8:22 AM
I am surprised at my reaction to last night's episode: I was totally bored with it. And that is very, very odd because I love this show.
Suits Midseason Report Card: A+
8/30/2012 1:45 PM
Love this show - and as Terry said, I can't wait to watch it each week. I give the show A+ too. It's right up there with NCIS and Person of Interest!
Louis gives me the alternative view of the world. Not everyone sees things the same way,and he's a great reminder of that.
Necessary Roughness Review: Escaping the Inevitable
8/30/2012 8:57 AM
Team Nico, for sure! I like Nico way more than Matt. My gut just wondered if Matt's character has a dark side far worse than Nico, and Nico is ready to shed his shadiness now that Pitman is gone.
And I think the reason Nico told Dani she knew him is because she pointed out that he gave up Gabrielle because Pitman wanted her. He looked sad and surprised when Dani pointed that out.
Royal Pains Review: 50 Strains of Fame
8/30/2012 7:01 AM
As the others have said, this wasn't the finale. And I remember seeing in the previews that Rafa gets an illness. I do like the pediatrician with Hank. I think they're better suited for each other than Hank and Jill were.
I am not in disagreement about the lack of continuity but it seemed as if they're trying to right (or write ;-) the ship that started sinking at the beginning of the season with the feud between Hank and Evan. And I'm loving Dr. Sarconi!
Suits Summer Finale Review: Your Team
8/24/2012 10:37 AM
Terrific show! One thing bothers me: the partners voted on Hardman's ouster without any discussion at all? That scene didn't seem plausible at all. But it's Suits, so all is well. Harvey, Donna, Mike, pot, can openers, and now thumbtacks? Whoooo! It's gonna be good in January!
Covert Affairs Review: That's Persistence
8/22/2012 5:13 PM
I like what Terrie said: this show has potential but it just keeps missing the mark. I can't quite put my finger on why. Auggie (and Christopher Gorham) is great. Joan is great. Joan's husband is great. But Annie? There's something amiss that makes this a DVR for when there's nothing else on show for me.
Palmer to Become Acting Medical Examiner on NCIS
8/22/2012 5:07 PM
Me too - so ready for the new season of NCIS!!!!!!
Major Crimes Review: Butting Heads
8/21/2012 9:00 AM
I kinda like this show, especially when I stop making comparisons between Sharon Raydor and Brenda Leigh Johnson. Captain Raydor seems to me to be her own woman, in her own way. I felt a bit iffy at the first episode, but I liked last night's episode a lot better.
Summer Show-Down: Renew or Replace?
8/20/2012 5:10 PM
Necessary Roughness (because it's different) and Common Law (I grew fond of Wes and Travis). Fairly Legal and Franklin & Bash are ok (they're my DVR programs that I save to watch when there's nothing else on).
Falling Skies Review: Mass Attacks
8/20/2012 8:02 AM
I thought this episode was terrific and this review a bit harsh, but to each his own.
In re Hal: remember when he and Maggie had the conversation in the jeep/truck about dark sides? Maggie was asking what his was and he said he didn't have anything dark? And then we see him looking into the mirror last night and he's very dark after Karen kissed him!
And James - I too noticed the softness in the landing alien's expression right at the end. My mind flashed: he's related to Red-Eye.
Suits Review: Me Without You
8/17/2012 7:15 AM
May Grammy rest in peace. What a show! Ten o'clock is my bedtime and I DVR the 10:00 p.m. shows to watch later, except for Suits. I just love this show. The scenes with Donna and Louis disco-strutting through the hallway were precious!
Necessary Roughness Review: It's Addicting
8/16/2012 2:17 PM
I like the idea of Dani and Nico. Matt is very, very nice - great looking and all - but he seems "too young" for Dani - can't quite put my finger on it. "Too young" may not be the appropriate descriptive phrase because I'm not referring to chronological age. Maturity level, maybe that's it?
Leverage Review: A Fist Full of Truffles
8/13/2012 11:35 AM
Agreed - what a great episode! Watching Elliot take out the bad guys one by one without missing a beat in the kitchen was fabulous! LOL funny that Hardison was tasked with being supply runner when he was too cheap to properly tip the bike messengers.
Common Law Review: Just a Dream?
8/5/2012 2:02 PM
I too think Common Law is a nice little show. As Evelyn said, it's not NCIS or Person of Interest, or Burn Notice for that matter, but it's enjoyable entertainment. It's far better than the reality trash that all of the networks seem to think people want to watch. Thank God the family package cable networks offer good scripted shows without my having to add the extra and extraordinary expense of HBO or Showtime.
Did anyone else notice the actor cross-over in Robert, Dr. Ryan's fiance? It was the same actor who plays Karp on Franklin and Bash.
Leverage Review: Season 5 Premiere
7/16/2012 9:33 AM
So very good to have the Leverage team back!
Perception Series Premiere Review: What Did You Think?
7/10/2012 11:33 AM
Love Eric McCormack as Daniel. Excellent! But who is that high school kid playing the cop? Someone noted a "jarring" miscast - I agree wholeheartedly. Seriously miscast. Like the producers better do something type of miscast. I'm sure the actress is a lovely, nice person and good in other venues, but not this one. It's not that she's not good, she doesn't have enough UMPF to be paired with Eric. She had no credibility with me at all. No zing. No --- nothin'.
But I enjoyed the premise of the show and hope that Daniel and sidekick Lewicki can carry it.
Love and Other Acts of Courage

Hi there - on my cable, Falling Skies is on at 9:00, not 10:00.
Royal Pains Review: Your Own Path
6/21/2012 8:55 AM
I am so over the fighting brothers storyline, and Evan behaved like a total idiot in last night's episode. I too prefer the Boris story lines to current ones. Heck, I like Dr. Sacani better than Evan at this point. At this point, I'm considering no longer watching the show - it's gotten that bad.
2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards: My Ballot
6/18/2012 12:44 PM
I don't watch any of these shows either. I also don't subscribe to the premium (HBO, Showtime, etc.) channels either -- too expensive and they run the same movies and shows over and over and over and over. But I recognized a long time ago that what the critics see as high quality isn't necessarily what I see as high quality. LOL I HATED Seinfeld.
Bunheads Episode Teaser: Ready to Dance Again?
6/12/2012 5:19 PM
LOL I AM a bunhead (both with the show and in my life: ballroom dancer)!
