   I completely agree with Ella. The flash forward is an easy way of skipping around the character development and actually good story lines that the writers are obviously completely incapable of. But it's necessary, and seeing future-NJBC and CB with their son and *finally* happy will make me regret watching s3-6 a little less (just a little though. this show sucks)

   I don't care who GG is and anyone they choose will surely be a huge disappointment (like everything else post Season 2) ... why can't they just keep it a secret?? I don't ever want to find out! That's the sole thing they've done right on this show-keeping GG anonymous. Ugh.

   b- why in the world did you buy season 5?! That was horrible, I'm never watching it again!! :P When this show is over, I'm buying season 1 and season 2 and that. is. it. I thought I might add season 6 to that list but it's still bad so unless the next 9 eps are amazing (doubt it) then s1 and s2 it is :) The real GG ended there anyway

    1) the disaster that is Dan's hair
    2) the less awful but still awful disaster that is Chuck's shaved-on-sides-long-on-top hair
    3) how awful awful awful season 5 was and how s6 better be SO GOOD after we suffered thru that mess
    4) that Chuck and Blair need to end up together!!
    5) that the NJBC is awesome and needs to be endgame
    6) that Dan is a douche

    the rest of season 5 SUCKED SO BADLY. I don't even want to think about it. It was the worst tv I've ever sat through. So miserable and ridiculous and out of character and awful. Ugh I'm done.

    This is where the show went on a sharp decline. I wouldn't call it the worst, (Jenny saves it) but it was terrible.
    Blair lost her Queen B bitchiness and became a wuss
    Chuck traded Blair for a hotel and then sleeps with Jenny (I mean WTF, WHO DOES THAT!?)
    The gang entered college but never finished it, in fact never mentioned again

    I haven't enjoyed GG since season 2, when it was indulgent GOOD tv. now it's just miserable b/c it's a horrible, trashy show that makes no sense. I hate what it has become and no I definitely do not enjoy it :P just show me a CB wedding and I'm out. I should've checked out after 2x25!!!

    it's gross b/c ivy's so young, she was lily's niece for awhile (til they found out she wasn't) and she had a thing with Dan, Rufus' son. EW just so wrong and gross, but again, that's not surprising with this show :P

    hmmm...all the sweet (albeit pretty boring) CB scenes...and yeah that's it. ACTUALLY the little look they give eachother at Rufly's wedding. so cute. such forshadowing :') but season 3 was horrible so I didn't really like much about it to be honest :P ughh
    
    (still not close to half as bad as season 5 though, so yeah)

    Ggfab, i don't think DB will be friends, and I didn't buy their sudden/forced 'friendship' in s4/5. I want them to go back to their s1&2 dynamic or not interact at all. After season 5, I've had to stomach enough, thank you :P

    I think this show should've ended around s2 to be honest. all seasons 3-5 did was destroy the show and its characters. I used to love B and now hate her, I was pretty indifferent to dan and now I hate him, nate was actually a main character, chuck used to be hilarious and now he's too serious, serena used to be the sunshiney it girl, (btw did they really just kill 5 years of growth for her character? I hate these writers), eric and jenny were part of the show. etc etc. I could go on and on. this show used to be SO SO amazing and it has fallen so far. now it's an embarrassment. it's like they try to make it bad. the only reason I'm still watching is because I want to see chuck and blair end up together. otherwise, I would've quit after 3x01, which was terrible imo. Season 3 is when it all started going downhill and s4 was a bit better, but still bad. s5 was an absolute abomination. anyway, yeah penn is a douche, but the show does suck. I wanted out when s3 started so I don't blame the actors for wanting out too. these writers are talentless fools and this show is a travesty. It had so much potential and was so incredible when it started. it's so sad what it has become :(
