Actually, it is conflicting to tell whose team Michael plays for. He doesn't stand for what Percy represents, but he still stays to get his revenge for his family. You can tell he loves Nikita and cares for Alex, so he definitely knows that Alex could be working with Nikita now. I actually believed he would be at Alex's apartment instead, but the final scene was priceless. What is going to happen next? That's what I want to know, sooner rather than later, we need at least a promo for the next installment. Regarding the key from Nathan, we don't exactly know how he got a hold of it, or if Alex told him it's under the mat just in case. So I'm not too upset about that, I wanted a continuation of their relationship status since the week before, except that week dealt with Alex's past. I like how this series is unraveling. I actually liked the fact that Nikita was the voice of reason in Alex's hallucinations. Seriously though, does it mean that Nikita would have to relocate in the end?
Stand to be corrected guys, a bit excited for the next installment!!!
Okay since episode 17 wasn't yet announced, an article was located stating Echoes as the mid season finale. It was confirmed however that there would be an episode to air next week in contrast to what was said. I am just used to short episode previews and then a looong break, especially with dramatic revelations like the one where Nikita walked in to have Michael in her apartment, seemed like a cliffhanger episode.
Why is this the mid-season finale!!!!
Marti still has feelings for Dan, she's trying to talk herself out of it because she doesn't want to complicate things between her and Savannah. Simply because she is confused, that even if she does decide to go with Dan, things might fade away and Savannah would be hurt either way. As for Savannah, she is not wrong for still having feelings for Dan and for wanting a relationship with him. I didn't even know she and Dan spent so much time together, regarding the photos Savannah literally memorized of Dan's family. It is her compassion that makes her the forgiving person she is, so she could forgive Dan if he shows true feelings of hurt, and was willing to admit to his mistakes. I am going to be honest here, I am not in favor of Savannah and Dan, although they came off okay in the beginning, they don't come off as the "serious" type. Dan's father was reaching when he called Marti a "bad fit", almost as though Dan didn't act just as compassionate when he was around Marti. All the facts he placed against Marti only showed how little he knew her. Marti called Dan out for a lot of things and that friendship they have could transform into and intimate relationship where they would always have each others backs. Marti sang that final song "White Horses" beautifully. I think she was saddened, she did an honorable thing, but it may have broken her heart to do it, especially since she's the only person that Dan officially listened to, besides the judgment of his father, he might have considered being with Marti had she just said something. As for the Alice and Vanessa, the dance routine was well done in the beginning, and I would actually like a follow up on Jake. I hope Vanessa doesn't immediately dive for Raymond because she is single, but Derek could have been given a different exit, the writers made us fall out of love with their relationship, he didn't really have a chance. Aly needs to sing some more, I look forward to her music.
I just admired the scenes mainly between Caleb and Hannah. You can just sense their connection when Hannah was running through her lines at home and Caleb offered to help, he is definitely different in a compassionate way around her. Aria and Ezra, what makes me actually cope with this couple, regardless of their age difference, is the fact that their love for each other isn't the romanticized teenage kind. Technically, Ezra is the college boyfriend Aria would have had Ezra continued with his studies, yet he chose to teach. They have battled with this issue of the student-teacher title, and the writers portray Aria mature enough to mirror Ezra somewhat. I don't know if you guys grasped that, so we probably would not be bothered by that fact whenever they kiss. I still admire how Aria presents herself, and her arguments are always solid, except where as you guys mentioned, Ezra does want to have better opportunities, Aria should want that for him. That probably shows her teenage side and leans in favor for Ezra's point. Caleb handled that kiss with a level of maturity I admire in him. Hannah asked if she wasn't ready and Caleb's response was that it would be okay. In the beginning when Caleb was introduced, he came off shady, I thought he was going to be trouble for the girls, but he formed an attraction towards Hannah, and it made me like him more. We now understand what drives Caleb and that he could be compassionate. Hannah, in real was the only person that truly showed him compassion and he loves her for it.
