I wonder if Lavon starts liking AB and when he admits it to her, she panics and blurts out Lemon still being in the picture for Lavon. Of course, this sounds all too easy so I'll throw in a hands down denial on Lemon's part and a blessing for them to go forth whilst she watches AB and Lavon get cosier... slowly killing Lemon each episode. Lol, regardless it will interesting to see how these three go about all this.
I actually enjoyed the episode... George's "baby" to Tansy was so sweet. I honestly didn't mind George’s mothers craziness. I know they shove George and Zoe down our throat as the couple Leila wanted but this episode was written from such a different stand point of George genuinely being happy with Tansy and vice versa for Zoe and Wade that his mother pining for George to be with Zoe was hilarious and fit her personality to a tee. On paper George and Zoe should work but in reality they don't and I love that they went there with that this episode. Also, Tansy is quite possibly my FAVORITE character! Loved watching her get all feisty, lol.
Yeah I'm with you dil about the lawsuit. It was interesting at the start of the season but now, the ridiculous payout, the hospital having to close doors, and Owen's mix-up in it it's all just a bit silly. I would've loved to see more hurt - I don't have a sister but a half brother and if I lost him I'd be a lot more upset then just an every now and then kind of thing. Torres is also pretty loving and emotional so I imagine her falling a part about Sloan in her quiet moments way more than what we've seen.
Personally it was April and Jackson's moment that stole the episode for me. The moment Jackson said those words to April and her face just changed - tears. Lots of them. Love those two together and I can't help but think... why are they not together? Is it just a misunderstanding or? I recall April believing she maybe pregnant, Jackson proposing and once finding out they weren't April stated the whole "now we don't have to get married" speech which Jackson was upset by. Then this episode April's talking about marriage and looking over at Jackson... like she does that want that. Or is Jackson truly not interested and I've missed something?
My sister in law and I were talking about this past episode yesterday and honestly, Zade are so, so, so adorable. Bethels' body - thank you! We're sort of team Lemon and Lavon... just because we want to see what would happen. I loved the moment when Wade confronted Zoe after their first tiff . When she said she didn't want to end up like her parents and he's all "hold on..." it was nice seeing them both indirectly talking about themselves as a couple, in the long term. Oh, and that scene in the kitchen - pretty much perfect! :)
Oh wow, she'll be fantastic! ...There's very few that could say they weren't fans of hers on 'That '70s Show' :D
cont... I actually like the voice overs of Carrie's thoughts, the handbag with her name on it, the little c necklace, and then the end with her initiating her love of writing at the window with her desk. It will be interesting to see how today's teens take to it because like somebody else said... some teens today may find something like 'Girls' far more interesting. Anyway, I think it'll be nice to watch Carrie Bradshaw fall in love with Manhattan in the '80s before the rest of the characters story played out.
I'm in my late 20's and a fan of Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw so I wasn't sure if this show was something I should even tune into... whether it was very much a teen drama and whether it would just butcher everything great about the character Carrie Bradshaw. Honestly... I really didn't hate it. The '80s setting makes me feel okay with tuning in, lol. The 80s music, outfits, and backgrounds are also done quite well and not overly cheesy however; like others, I imagine Carrie's hair being FAR more frizzy in the 80s. I also feel like there were moments where you could see the young girl playing Carrie has taken the time to learn small quirks made known by SJP when creating the adult TV Carrie Bradshaw and as a fan of the SJP Carrie Bradshaw... it's appreciated :)
"But I'm fuming that Jackson and Stephanie hooked up!!! :( nooooo! What about April!!" Right there with you Roxx!! Nooooo....
“I know a lot of people concentrate on how Wade treated Zoe. Yet she set the tone for their relationship the moment she met him. Sure she was annoyed about the power going out, but she was rude. She judged him immediately and treated him as such. I don't think Wade or Zoe are either more or less innocent or guilty in how they treat each other. I think there is truly a back and forth between both of them. They each give as good as they get. That is their dynamic. Now sure there are times when it crossed the line (Wade in 1x13 &1x18, Zoe in 1x20 & 2x05 & 2x09), I don't think they truly are setting out to hurt the other. Those instances arose out of either Wade's insecurities about himself or Zoe's just general cluelessness and self-absorption. I expect both characters (and the rest on the show) to grow and evolve and overcome these more negative traits of theirs. Agreed!
