I thought the breaking bad homage was cool, but as I haver never watched the show, I thought that the whole narration scene was a part of that. Do you know what they were spoofing with the narration? Was it related to a streetcar named desire?
What happened to the mobile version of this site, and when will it be back? As someone who almost exclusively uses a smart phone, the full site is tedious to use. I miss it! I'm sure others do too!
This review was seriously lacking for such a fun episode. There wasn't much of a review to even speak of.
However, I thought this episode showed character growth, for arizona and the interns and mer, while having some amazing lines by cristina, owen, and webber. I laughed a lot. it was kind of nice after lots of intense drama recently.
By the way, what happened to the mobile version of this site, and when will it be back?
What happened to the mobile version of this site, and when will it be back? I miss it so much. The regular site is tedious to navigate on my phone. Just wondered! Thanks for the sneak peeks.
I was kind of hoping that the third cooplet would have a state related name, just because that would be cool. But, love the name rachel, the girls are adorable!
Anyone else think that the book store guy was the same actor as isaac, the tech with the huge tumor, from season six of greys? The voice sounded exactly the same. I like him.
Glad that this episode had a happy ending for everyone, wish they would have made the finale a two hour one too.
Just wondered who the two characters were that flew across the ' the simpsons' marquee at the beginning of the episode. And do you know what the chalkboard gag was referring to?
Loved seeing the gym teacher again. And yes, not homer's best money making scheme (much better than when he stole all the sugar), but it was funny. Especially throwing all the change in the wishing well at the end. I almost expected him to stay at the bus station until he used all the quarters there.
Liked how this showed a different side of bart. From the scantron sheet answers, it looked like he actually tried.
I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet. Rumple said that the true love stuff he poured in the well 'returns what was lost.' What if it returns the curse, because in a sense, it was lost when Emma broke the curse. that would make for an interesting second season. Worth mentioning, but I'm probably wrong.
Great rounds table, though. I love this show! And all you guys for giving us all the amazing articles!
I've never been a big lady gaga fan, so this episode didn't do much for me. It was good, but I felt that last Weeks episode would have made a better finale, you know, with the whole nedna story coming full circle. And they put a lot of twitter hashtags on this episode! That was different. Overall, it's the Simpsons, and I heart them, and looking forward to next season!
Sorry Carla, you said party.... Still didn't hear party .... Maybe i have to watch it again for the third time.
And for a bunch of geeky guys, I thought it was a reasonable type of bachelor party, for a group that size.
I remember hearing Howard talk about sleeping with his cousin and the lady of the night in Las Vegas, but I don't remember hearing about the sailor moon girl.... Which episode was that in?
@Carla, I don't think the girls actually said they were having a bachelorette party, I think they were just hanging out because the guys were busy.
And now that Howard mentioned it, he really has grown as a character...remember creepy Howard from the first few episodes of season one? He's much more endearing now.
Loved seeing captain sweat pants again, and he wasn't in sweat pants this time.
Loved the George takei reference by will Wheaton.
And I always love me some good Leonard and Penny, my favorite couple!
Awwww, not Sammy! I love him! :-( I better have tissues handy, not looking forward to those scenes. He's the only one who easily knew that Emily was really Amanda. I'm sad already, lol.
For all of you out there that say you are greys fans, how could all of you forgotten that April grew up on a farm in the Midwest, which is stereotypically heavily Christian? I mean, yeah, the Jesus reference seemed out of place, but knowing her upbringing, it kind of made sense.
as for Richard and Catherine, Richard and Adele NEVER had a sex scene that long and involved because theirs was a mature and devoted love. I can't believe it took a situation like this for him to get such a scene. whoever said that out was kind of weird and like watching your parents, I agree. Weird move on the producers part, IMO.
And I just love Mer and Cristina. They rock.
Oh and one more thing, for everyone debating the whole Cristina and Owen thing: Shonda said at the beginning of the season that this relationship was going to go through some tough times, but Cristina had matured and there would likely be no divorce because they are all grown up now. Remember her saying that? It's just a very dramatic rough patch.
Any one else get the connection between ruby slippers and Archie singing somewhere over the rainbow and the Glenda character? I loled at the references, hee hee :-)
