George's fans have been screwed over the entire season, so we have the right to complain. The critics of the premiere are out, and they are terrible, and they specifically single out how badly the George death and grief is handled.

Anuflas, I get that the whole season can't be sad but by the spoilers, they all seem over him by episode 2. It's way too soon for me. Couldn't they have let him mourn him at least 3 or 4 episodes?
We got a few great scenes with George last season, and to me they were the best scenes of the season. How can you say it makes no difference? It does to me and to everyone who loved George. A little George is better than no George at all. I can't even imagine the show or Izzie without him.

TR said he wasn't coming back because he thought his last scene was hauntingly beautiful. I agree with him. It has nothing to do with him being selfish, but all about wanting the most fitting end for his character.

I think all real George fans would have recognized him anywhere. So if she really erased Georeg all season and made TR quit for it for a cliffhanger most George fans figured out 10 minutes in the episode, she really has no business directing that show.
I can't believe we're losing a character most fans love, my favorite character, and that we were robbed of his entire last season for a cliffhanger I figured out more than half an hour before the end of the show.
How lame! She would never have done it to another character on the show.
I lost Gizzie, and I lost George. There's a limit to what I can take from this show.

I thought they would at least be best friends again. Everyone loves that friendship. It would ease the pain of losing the couple for me and many Gizzie fans, I know, if they were friends again.
I think George could handle anything. He decided to take his dad off the ventilator. That is tough. He supported the nusres at the risk of his job. He did open heart surgery when Alex froze. He supposedly does another surgery while Alex again freezes next week.
George might seem overly sensitive but he ALWAYS come through in the end and he ALWAYS care.
If anyone can handle the army and stay a sweet amazing person, it is George.
He is the toughest of them all. If you think he can't handle the army, you really don't know him that well.
No need to fight just because we don't like the same couples.
TDS, I don't agree about GI not taking responsibility for their actions. I think they did, more than most people do on this show.
I was against the one-night stand but I blame Shonda for this.
She could have put our couple together the right way. Do you imagine how frustrating it is for us to have waited since day 1 for those two and then they put them together that way.
It seemed she never wanted them to succeed and it is unfair to all the Gizzie fans.
I hated the affair, but I loved how happy they made each other, how they were there for each other like during the Hannah crisis. I loved how happy Izzie was when he said I love you too. She just glowed.
I loved them smiling at each other on the bench. It was just so pure and beautiful.
There was something magic about them, and every other couple seems to pale in comparison since them. They ruined all the other couples for me.

George is the one reason I still watch this show. He's the one character that is likable and not an ego-driven jerk, and he is going to be killed off.
Why would I watch? People quit shows all the time. It doesn't make them childish.
