Great epi! We're finally getting to the good stuff.
First off...I'm happy the PP clan is outta here! They take over our show, mess up McDreamy and then get an hour of only their show w/o GA goodies in it. Selfish! :o)
Poor, poor McDreamy! I have a feeling Derek is going to the dark and twisty side and who knows when McDreamy will return. I did find the fight between McDreamy & McSteamy a little hot. >:o)
OK, what I came to REALLY comment on...did anyone else read the writers blog? Happen to notice he said, "Again, it's not going where you think. Know what else isn't? Meredith and Derek." Ahh! They are LEADING us to believe Derek is going to propose. Does this mean a typical GA storyline of get the viewers/MerDer lovers all excited about something happy between these two just to see the ferryboats crash? I hope not...we've been through too much and we need a little bright and shiny! WE. DESERVE. IT.
Wahoo this epi is going to be intense if it follows suit of this preview! I'm excited now!
I agree with you Maddiexoxo...I think Derek is stuck between lives...so to say. The past has come back to haunt him, asked him to be God, he does what he's asked and saves the day and then Addie questions him about his skills with this case, just like he's been questioning himself. We're definitely going to see the darker side of Der and it will be exciting to see what comes of it!
Does anyone else love that Der tells Mer to not move and she doesn't even budge? I know its all in rage, but its like he needs her there to make him confident, to not second guess himself...to make him the Der that'll save this lady's life like he knows he can do. He needs someone by his side he knows believes in him. Yay! MerDer FOREVER!
One other thing...in the preview the husband tells Der/Addie if it comes down to it, save his wife. So, isn't this what Der's trying to do and Addie's questioning it? Its hard to judge by the one little clip we get, but if Der thinks he can save her life, he has to save her life.
I 100% agree with the Callie girl on girl haters (OK, maybe hate is a strong word...SERIOUSLY dislike). We don't need this shoved down our throats. Its forced, and Callie is wasted on these stupid storylines! Come on Grey's, we all know you can do better than this and we don't need to see girl on girl action! Seriously!
OK, random thoughts about this weeks show. First off, I was super excited about the crossover "event" and felt very let down by the time the two hours were up. I seemed like it was forced and the storylines were mediocre. This coming week doesn't seem nearly as appealing if its like this epi.
However, I was very pleased to see Sadie go and the conversation between Mer and Sadie. Mer is happy where she is. She doesn't want to leave. Finally, Mer is showing us she's growing up, making choices for herself, knows (somewhat) what she wants and doesn't run at the drop of a hat anymore. She wants to stick.
About Mer feeling like she doesn't know Der. People have pasts. We all come from somewhere and have a story. We don't really know much about any of the characters pasts before they walked into SGH. Mer needs to realize whatever happened in Der's past (that makes her feel like she doesn't know him) made him who he is. The man she loves today. When Sadie came to SGH she brought all kinds of stories with her that Mer didn't want Der to know. Mer has to realize she also has a past Der doesn't know about, but he still loves her. It made the Mer that Der loves. Finding these things out in time is the gravy of a real relationship.
Izzie - I feel Grey's was showing us more than her not being able to see things in front of her (scissors and ribbon). Did anyone else notice how overly "happy" and excited she was? It was almost a joke. Like she was overacting. But I feel these are going to be symtoms of her illness. They are slowly coming to surface and SGH is going to notice.
I like Addie and would love to see her come back to SGH...only if she keeps her dirty paws of Der. I think the show is missing the whole Vaginy Squad.
I'm looking forward to the next epi, but I sure hope its better than this one!

If Shanda's PMSing and in a tif about what someone said, did, whatever, then I say someone at ABC needs to pull up their pants and tell Shonda to GET OVER IT! She's ticking off the fans and without us, she has no show. I ONLY watch PP b/c its a spin off of Greys. If Grey's looses all their actors and gets canned, you can be certain PP will get canned...then where will Shonda be?

You know the proposal is going to be the season finale...its how Grey's is. Der will get on one knee, ask Mer to marry him, she will have an "oh my gosh!" look on her face so we have no idea what she thinks or will say and then it'll fade to black.
I think it'd be kinda cute to see Der spew over it and want to get it just right...b/c roses and candlelight is romantic, but Der can do much better. I think we as die-hard fans deserve better. Yay, only 3 more days!

What was up with the music playing while Xtina & Hunt saw each other? I loved the scenes, HATED the music...I thought it kinda ruined the moment.
MerDer...AWESOME! Great to see them happy and wanting crappy babies together. :o) I hope to see the proposal soon...but what do you think is going to come of Mer finding the rose petal?
Mer will catch wind of the engagement because no one in that hospital can keep a secret to save their lives. It'll give Mer a reason for a freak out...she hasn't had one in a while...and a reason for McDreamy to pull out his full-on McDreamyness. :o)

I saw promo pictures of the next Grey’s. McDreamy is lighting candles & is surrounded by red roses! He’s inside, so possibly in their house? Wahoo! But knowing the Grey’s we all know & most of the time love…let’s see what goes wrong…
Finally some scenes at Joe’s…Slexie (with Derek looking on!), Cali & the new Dr. (can’t think of her name). Can’t wait!
