heeheehee a stunning couple. I agree. TM hasn't been afraid to show the sexual relationships Jane and Lisbon have had before. It's a deliberate ploy to withhold it from the viewer now. Because they've already told us in interviews that it's a consummated relationship and they are living together. No doubt about that, anyway now, with them sharing the hotel room and Lisbon showering without closing the door, popping out in a shortie robe with nothing underneath, ha. Those questions are over now, lol. So, what's the deal about making them look a little odd or weird to the casual viewer because they won't show us even the mild things that are definitely going on. Some people have even said they are an asexual couple. omg. And it's Heller alone who is causing this confusion and disagreement. Just my viewpoint. ;)
They don't seem very buttoned up with each other anymore. To me they seem very relaxed and easy with each other as they find their way together. Just my two cents. It's not Jane and Lisbon that are buttoned up. It's Heller that wants to withhold and tease, from the viewer, what's really going on with them. A little kiss or hug would go a long way to making them look normal instead of a little odd, which they are clearly not. Just how I see it, but I understand people can see it other ways, too.
Hahahaha @katempw! Patrick Janes instead of Mary Janes. That would be so cool. Now if we could just be sure what kind of shoes those are.
I love stinky Jane! In a sarong and dusty Jane shoes, wow, I gotta see how that comes about! :-D
haha! Speaking of stinky Jane, I'm rewatching season six episodes. 601 starts the next moment of 5x22, so Jane is still in his clothes of 4 days and three nights. Looks like he finally gets to change clothes sometime after the case where the baseball player gets shot. By the time they're in Bertram's office he has new shirt and suit, I assume it's the next morning since the scene starts with an SUV pulling into the CBI plus Lisbon is in new clothes, too. Funny. And ripe. :D
"Meant" is definitely past and would imply that there is some kind of good bye or separation here, a change. "Mean" is present tense and would imply something more confessional to deepen the relationship is coming. Quite a big difference! But I have to emphasize, it's ALL guesswork. The promo says "mean" but the BTS says "meant." Feels definitely tricksy. But Americ says the Jisbon in F&B is "beautiful." So maybe it takes place elsewhere in the episode. Sunset beach still looks to be a great scene, but maybe not as happy as originally seemed.
It's up on this site now, maybe you can see it here on TVFan. Also, it's on youtube now too.
It reminds me of when Lisbon said he could talk to Lorelei without anyone listening. Only she didn't outright lie. She just didn't say outright okay, either.
