I'm desperately hoping that this show will survive to see season 9 but that the writers will be fired! I've never felt that way about another show. They've taken a great show and ruined it, yet they give interviews saying how happy their are with their story. I wish ABC would fire them now so fans might have some hope of getting the show they loved back.
Yeah, I hate that they killed off Will. That was just unnecessary.
Rafe realized he had feelings for Hope, his partner, earlier this year but since she was in a relationship with Aiden he kept those feelings to himself and they've remained friends.
I'm looking forward to the episode as the last one gave me hope that things could get better after the start of this horrible season. They need to do something with this stupid Loksat/separation story (worst story idea in the history of the show) and get rid of these extra characters (can one bullet be used for both Vikram and Hayley?) and get back to basics. I doubt that will happen in this one episode but I'm willing to see where they're taking it. I want the show I loved back.
I'm not 100% sure but I believe the actor who plays Bo chose not to come back but was willing to return for a very short period to close out the role. As much as I love Bo and Hope, I can understand the show going this way with the story to give Hope some real closure. The decision to kill Will is a whole other story...in my opinion that was a stupid story decision and a waste of a good core family character.
-Surprisingly I felt worse for Espo than for Ryan. Ryan did act shocked that his friend passed the exam and that's not cool, but I’ll agree that the entire Ryan shooting Espo thing was pure silliness and thrown in for the angst. Just dumb. -The note writing isn't not bad advice but kind of funny that he picked it up during one of his failed marriages. -I’m so tired of Castle as a P.I. It worked last year for a couple of episodes but should have never been brought back. I want Castle back at the 12th full time. -I liked it. There have been so few scenes where Castle and Beckett have actually been in the same room this season that I was happy to see some romance no matter what the setting. I just wish this stupid separation were over and we got a lot more romance. -That the separation continues. Let’s end this stupid storyline already! -The balloon with the dinner invitation was very sweet. I also loved Castle crawling across the floor to see the phone. It was both cute/funny and hopefully moved the story forward.
My guess is that they'll probably not show it onscreen and hide it behind potted plants and odd costumes.
-I'd love Martha's book. She's wonderful and her advice is normally either spot on or very funny but yeah, Castle and Beckett definitely don't need any more time apart! We might all tune out and not come back with any more of that.-I do think the boys are true friends but they each make mistakes and lying and stealing were huge mistakes on Castle's part. I hated that part.-Eh. The singing was too silly. Like something you'd see on a sitcom, not on Castle.-ENOUGH of Castle chasing Beckett already! I'm so tired of this. When does she decide her marriage is worth fighting for?-This entire season has been disappointing. Butt jokes. Fart jokes. Partners shooting each other. Singing and dancing while being held at gunpoint. Castle and Beckett apart. This isn't the Castle I love.-I liked Slaughter's character development. It was good to learn his background and he did look cute cooking in that apron.
How many times will the show runners have to explain their story to the fans? Shouldn't we understand it simply by watching? It's like they keep asking us to give them more rope but I'm afraid it's only to hang themselves with it.
I agree. Hope is a grown woman and an accomplished detective. I want to see her save Bo and take down Aiden.
