"but when the woman's father shows up he thanks Rebecca?"
It didn't make sense that she'd be so terrified and then her father was so loving. Where did the fear come from then. It's like they wanted to stick a happy little bow on the story and say, "see, parents love their children everywhere." I'm sure they do but if there weren't issues, why did she have to sneak off to the clinic?
Looks like this is going to be one of those shows that you either love it or you hate it and I loved it. The guys are cute and charming and the pilot made me laugh. I guess it's not for everyone but I'll be back for more.
-I figured he would be the character to be killed but I never thought that would be the reason. I was shocked. It was a great story twist but they did it while keeping the integrity of the character.
-I'm not sure I'm ready to deal with thinking about a new Captain yet. It's going to change the dynamic at the precinct. I do like the idea of Kate having to fight to keep Castle around for a change. That would show a big shift in their relationship.
-I have no idea how they'll handle Castle's confession but as long as they don't ignore it or pretend it didn't happen and they use it to move the story forward I think I'll be happy.
-Yes! I completely agree that keeping them apart is BORING and that every show does that. The Castle writers are so talented and Nathan and Stana's chemistry is off the charts. There's no reason why making them a couple can't be great TV.
-Everyone was brilliant in this episode but my favorite was Montgomery's last stand at the hangar. So powerful. I'm going to miss him.
There bringing back Charlie's Angels? I can't believe I'm going to say this but I'll probably tune in to see if it is fun or just bad. What are the odds?
Great news about Castle.
Love Jimmy Kimmel. He's the most underrated guy on late night.
Ray is the character I like the least but Charlie was right to remind them all what they have to lose. And this whole team was Ray's idea, even if I don't think much of him. I thought both Shea and Lloyd did a great job this week. This show keeps getting better.
Jamie would have been hurt in that crash. It was silly to just have him walk out of it without a scratch. I'm OK with him going to Danny. At least he went to someone. I can't wait for the finale.
Yes! Rigsby finally told her how he felt. I always liked those two together. Since we probably won't see Jane and Lisbon get together anytime soon, the show could use a little romance. I've got my fingers crossed for these two.
I finally caught up with this show and that opening with the baby staring at the mobile while her father's being killed is so creepy. I wasn't expecting that.
Justin was a favorite in this one. Yes, please just talk to one another.
The Michelle storyline seemed to wrap up way too quickly. I wonder if she'll be back. I wonder if the baby is really theirs. And how do they not let Olivia feel like second choice when this infant will take up all of their time and attention. It's going to be tricky.
Next week's promo made it look like Sarah is not going to handle this paternity issue well. Have to wait and see on Sunday.
I like Lloyd and he and Julianne are really sweet together but why is he in prison? It's like nothing else can happen with him until we learn the answer to that question.
I don't think feelings necessarily means romantic but it shows she cares a great deal for him or she wouldn't have done something so brash. These two have come a long way since the start of the show and they trust one another. It's become a solid friendship and partnership. Lisbon wants to catch RedJohn too but she doesn't want him dead the way Patrick does. That's going to be their biggest problem.
The cast really does get better week to week. I'm enjoying Curtis more and more. It was nice to Christina Hendricks. She was gorgeous and I had no idea Ethan was her husband in real life. So cute.
I'm so happy Dana Delany is back on TV every week. Love her interactions with her daughter in this show. Any mother would want to hide the gory parts and any child would want to see just that. Happy this show is doing so well.
Loved that they honored and remembered the late Stephen J Cannell with the empty seat at the poker table. Well done.
And the last scene where Castle is actually honest about being jealous and then she tells him she thinks it's sweet, plus that LOOK between them! Sigh. My shipper heart is very happy.
I'm guessing Captain Montgomery (as much as I love him). Obviously it won't be Castle or Beckett. They've put too much into Ryan & Esposito and I don't see it being Lanie. Killing Martha or Alexis would change Castle's character severely. This show just isn't that dark. Gina or Meredith are the only other characters from season one. I honestly don't see the point in killing off either one. Perlmutter and Jim Beckett didn't show up until season 2.
Losing Montgomery would affect the characters and possibly push Castle and Beckett closer together. Plus they'd bring in a new Captain (I don't see Beckett replacing him as it would take her out of the field.) and how the new Captain reacts to Castle could bring about changes and might give us some funny moments in the future. I'd hate to see Ruben Santiago Hudson go but unless the writers have something totally creative that I'm not seeing, he's my pick.
So happy they don't show all the gore that we see on other shows. With CSI and Bones I always end up turning my head at the gross parts. Glad this show isn't that over the top.
