  1. The CW Renews The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and 90210

    AS for the three poll....

At this point I'd rather have the CW-classic soap like hart of dixie being renewed.

Nikita never interested me plainly because its essentially tasteless and will never beat the original la femme nikita tv show that was a masterpiece.
TSC on other hand never really did anything good and is degrading faster than TVD. If it dies, there's a hope that TVD quality might improve at least a bit with KW NOT having to stretch in three shows.
  2. The CW Renews The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and 90210

Not surprising on renewals. SN struggles on even if pretty much half-dead and TVD, even with the horribly falling viewership numbers still has quite a good spot for a relatively small channel like CW.

Will forever be in denial that Ringer won't be back. That show became way too good to just...end like that and is pretty much the only show on CW that was consistently decent...
  3. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "The Stranger"

Any storybook characters we haven't seen that you hope to make an appearance before the season finale?
This season? not really. we have enough characters for now. although it would nice if cliffhanger involved some character we did not see yet.
  4. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "The Stranger"

Geppetto: Caring father or black-mailing jackass?
I'd say, he is person who is a black-mailing jackass BECAUSE he is a caring father. Its an interesting flaw, makes him multi-layered.

Who is seeing reality? Emma seeing August's leg normal or August seeing it wooden?

Emma is literally the "schrodinger's cat of the curse". Her denial and insecurities affect her own magic and make HER reality be warped and different from everyone else's.

When she believes she believes, when she does not, its not here FOR HER.

That also explains why her lie-detector power sometimes works and sometimes does not.
  5. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "The Stranger"

What was your favorite scene from the episode?
"then you're all screwed" scene hands down. Its such a strong establisher of Emma's character and what she is about and highlights her flawed nature and insecurities.

Why do you think Regina went to such lengths to try and seduce David?
    Two reasons mainly.

First of all she wants MM to HATE her. To put her through stuff she gone through, in a way. This was already evident with her trying to "relate" to MM in the questioning with Emma about the box scene, but now its quite obvious.

Second of all, she does seem to have a soft-spot for David. Regina tends to seek for connection, to be appreciated, but till she is capable of actually being herself and not pretending, people like Henry or David will keep rejecting her.
  6. Canadian Vampire Diaries Trailer: Spoilers Ahead!

Oh for gods sake, victimization of women and ESPECIALLY Caroline has got to stop.

By now getting kidnapped or having a romance are pretty much the only plotlines allowed for female gender in this show...

how many times Caroline has been in that situation? too many. She is way too awesome character to be treated like some...elena.
  7. Revenge Review: Absolute Catastrophe

Well this pretty much makes it sure that Emily will go down a way darker path now.

Also yeah, Charlotte seems to be set up to become a second "Emily Thorne". Except her target might end up our Emily...
  8. Once Upon a Time Preview: An Apple a Day...

Heart certainly fits. Daniel IS regina's "heart" who died, in regina's mind, because of Snow.

As for place, the previous promo for the final 4 episodes had Regina outright standing there with an apple saying that Charming is doomed or something like that.

Its more than likely that regina somehow talks Snow into taking that apple. Snow is not as stupid as teh fairytale version to just take a random apple from a granny and Regina is far more manipulative than that.

Its more than likely something like Regina offering to save charming in exchange of snow's life or something.
  9. Once Upon a Time Preview: An Apple a Day...

There are so many ways that Snow might have taken that apple, from the classic disguise root, to Regina poisoning her orchards knowing Snow's stealing from her, to Snow consciously taking the poisoned apple to save Charming.
Well we know its NOT a disguise since in the very promo we see Queen talking to her with an apple in her hand. The place they are talking seems to have a gravestone, so I guess they are by Daniel's grave.
  10. Once Upon a Time Preview: An Apple a Day...

This looks awesome, awesome and AWESOME. as always.

Really wondering on how Regina convinces Snow to take the apple.

Guessing Regina tries to get an apple to Emma somehow and Henry ends up eating it to prove Emma about the curse.
  11. The Vampire Diaries Season Finale Photos: What's in Storage?

    Elena's "smile" looks...creepy.

We spent 65 episodes with her frowning and shrugging that that "smile" makes her look like a mannequin or a robot.

Also this just confirmed that she never EVER knew how to dress or had any fashion-sense.

Also, oh gods this looks boring as hell. Too little, too late show. This should have been in series of flashbacks THROUGH FIRST TWO SEASONS, not in one episode after 65 episodes of Elena being a cardboard mary sue bella swan :/
  12. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

If Emma starts to believe that fairy tales are true, would not this be the end of the series?

    Not really.

For one, Curse and ending it is just a beginning. We do not know what happens AFTEr and we have huge plotline foreshadowings at every corner.

For second, curse breaking might not be instant. You would have to deal with it slowly breaking and more and more magical problems appearing in storybrooke.
  13. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

By the way, does anybody know what happened to the preview where Emma was about to kill Regina, who seemed tied to a tree? Is that gonna be a dream sequence or something? Cause we didn't see it on this episode...
That was not a preview for just this episode. it was a preview for all final episodes. It happens in next ep.
  14. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

I noticed a lot of people are starting to get impatient with Emma.
I LOVE Emma as a character. She is pretty much one of the most unique characters on tv right now.

One of major traits that make Emma Swan so relatable is her overall normalcy. She is a normal, realistic and flawed. person thrown into all this crazy stuff. Someone who has made a LOT of mistakes in her life and who has been pushed around and hurt by cold reality and her own imperfections again and again.
She does not react as a “hero”. She reacts as a human and the forest scene showcases it perfectly.
She is scared, tired and in denial. She cares for Henry, but she just has so many insecurities to care about anything else, to have wider responsibility. Accept wider consequences.

That, alongside parallels to Regina, is what makes her AWESOME.
  15. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

If Regina is okay with having the Sheriff and Katherine both killed for her agenda of screwing with Emma, why not try and get Emma killed herself?
Because she did not see Emma as a big threat and thought she could manipulate her as sheriff to do stuff for her, in a way to increase her influence over mr.Gold.

And if Pinocchio is still subject to the conditions the fairy put on him (turning to wood) in Storybrooke, then Rumple should be subject to the conditions of his own curse (i.e. the dagger-mind control thing)
Mind-control stuff seems to be more like a side-deal that requires conjuring magic.

And Dagger still can kill rumple(the main condition). Its just that anything else can too now. :)
  16. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

What did the fairy have to do with it's creation?
From how it seems, Blue Fairy is connected to a lot of events surrounding the curse, she, intentionally(most likely) gave the idea of it to Rumple. Why? No one knows, but I would not be surprised on if Blue Fairy is the true mastermind behind it all, having manipulated Rumple into manipulating Regina into enacting the curse.
  17. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

A land without magic (which just happens to be where Rumple's son went).... Perhaps it's implied that ours is the only one without magic?
Yes apparently its the only world inaccessible through the hat or other methods. Well not till Emma actually MADE a hat in this world.

Also, who came up with the exact idea of the curse? Was it Rumple's curse...
Yes the general idea seems to be that rumple created the curse as well as all the conditions needed to break it(getting snowing together, etc). As for why eh wants to break it? no idea.
  18. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

As for bored now...why so cycnical? It's a fairytale come to life with their past to remind us who they were...it's fun to try to second guess what will happen next, and not review it as a real life crime drama!
Its a consistent well-written, well-directed, well-acted drama and pretty much best drama-show on tv right now. A little bit of brainstorming does nothing else but make it even better ;]
  19. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

so maybe Emma believing brings magic...to our world.
Agreed. this is the most common idea and most likely why they put off her belief till finale. Finale being appropriately titled "Land Without Magic" most likely means that Emma's belief starts to break the curse and through S2 we see the progress on that as it offers a lot of new problems as various characters start to exhibit their FTL problems(example: Red) :3
  20. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

I would have agreed with your description of the curse before last week. But now? wasn't the whole purpose of the curse (for 'Stilskin) to get to this other realm where Bae ended up? So doesn't it transport as well as strip the happy endings?
It did not affect Regina and Gold. So gold would still be able to achieve his happy ending, despite everyone's suffering.

And we do not exactly know on WHY he did that curse, nor why he wants to break it(which is the biggest mystery right now)
  21. The Vampire Diaries to "Reboot" Klaus, Call Villain to Arms

Lol@ klaus doing heroic stuff....completely decimates the idea of his character.

Also, sorry plec, just like with Elena, TOO LITTLE TOO LATE. Klaus is already a wimpy bunny eater and nothing will change that.
  22. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

so basically August promised to guide and help Emma onto breaking the curse. he was not there when she started that by doing the first step with the clock, thus the consequences.
  23. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

isn't he James? anyway, why did he need another name?
Thats his twin Brother's name. We still do not know the real name of "Prince Charming".
  24. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

Also, and perhaps more critically, how can August's condition be tied to the curse, if he was sent through ahead of the curse to avoid it?
Because he was sent through a tool DEVISED to stop the curse, the curse was already in progress and every magic has its price. The price of August's journey to real world was exactly that.
  25. Once Upon a Time Review: Destiny Calls

Gepetto's insistence on sending Pinocchio through just seemed to defy logic to me - why was it necessary to send him through before the curse, to keep him living, if the issue is that the curse would send them to the non-magical world, but that was where the wardrobe also sent him?
Curse does not just "SEND" stuff. IT strips away them of what makes them happy. It made Snow and Charming almot unable to have happy ending in Storybrooke, for example. For Geppeto Pinnochio being a real boy was what made him happy. Curse would have made Pinocchio into a lump of wood.
