Here's a question that just occurred to me: how did Jefferson end up in Storybrooke? Wasn't he in WONDERLAND when the spell went down? If he was in FTL why couldn't he reunite with Grace? If the curse works across realities, then Why didn't it affect Bae and Emma and August after all?
hatter is essentially part of FTL, so it makes sense he was affected.
I don't know about the set pictures, but if anyone wants a very big potential spoiler about the finale re: David and MM, watch this very short but very telling scene from the set:
yeh, thats what I am talking about and exactly why i think David's about to bite it minutes after that scene.
but I don't think that Emma will be any closer to believing in the curse.
she already does. she just does not want to accept it to herself, hence denial. because accepting it would be to accept responsibility, something emma has always been running from. So i think its pretty much given that she will believe next episode. I would not be surprised on if she already does now after henry fell.
did Storybrooke just appear on the map 28 years ago? Does it have interaction with the outside world (goods like food and clothing must come from somewhere, right?)?
for all intents, it does not exist in the world. I doubt that anyone could even LOCATE it, just like with Lost's Island. food and clothing is there through magic of the curse.
Do the people in Storybrooke know how long they've been there (i.e..do they know their ages, birth dates)...
was already explained in first episodes that they do not. till emma visited them they have not even been aging and have been pretty much in a loop of everydays. Once clock started to move, everyone started to age.
Does anyone question just WHY Regina wanted Henry? I don't think it was her yearning to be a mother.
Actually thats pretty much it. She wanted an emotional bond, someone to love and someone who would love her back.
One thing that is annoying me is that there is no magic in our world but August has to maintain the requirements of deal to keep him human, the magic deal, or he MAGICALLY turns back to wood. It's basically saying that magic is wearing off but there IS not magic. Huh?
Let's equate magic with electricity.
Imagine that there's no electricity in the world, except for what is in batteries.
Regina brought some batteries with her. August is running on batteries, but they will run out.
Emma is someone who is about to rediscover and invent electricity itself in the world :)
As for the set photos, I think he meant more than that, building to something to me implies it will be something surprising and substantial.
I'd say what was shown in those set photos from finale IS the most substantial and surprising thing that can happen to them. ITs the absolute highpoint of that relationship
The hat Emma created didn't have magic.
We do not know that. So far evidence points to it having magic.
- The hat magic sound just after he jump.
- The fact taht he is alive and well after jumping two story building.
Emma's belief is what triggers magic so far, so if she believed for even a second during making it, it would contain magic.
I think the big cliffhanger will be Emma partially letting go of her denial
I doubt it will be "partially" I am guessing she will be in full believe-mode next week due to Henry being hurt and her being into August's room she will actually see the wood, hence freaking out.
Is this proof of, or proof against, the theory that David is going to die in the finale?
Nope. its a proof for another scene in the finale already spoiled by set photos :)
What happens after it, is unknown. And so far we know that "the finale won't be big on happy endings", "David will display his inner CHarming" and "The finale will make us want to throw things at tv".
The only way I can see him "display his Charming" is if he, just like Charming was ready to, would die for his love, or something.
