Great Lou Ashby cameo! Happy to see Karen and Hank together as always, but Carrie was a red flag. The house was too quiet when Hank first walked in, you knew she was going to pop up. I kept thinking Run Hank!!
Dermot Mulronney is fineeeee. I was lmfao last night when Jess was like "You're a hottie with a body." Why is everyone so down on Schmidt? I think he's hot!!!
@ Chris - where were you?? I should've submitted Barney for you, I knew you'd vote for the Barnacle.
@Denise- after I picked Schmidt I was like oh crap I also love me some Brad Williams on Happy Endings. He and Jane are my favorite comedy couple by far.
@Tom My apologies if that sounded ignorant on my behalf. I just meant in an extreme case such as Monica, combined with the immense amount of illegal drugs she was doing, there was just no way she could personally get it together without some sort of help.
thanks for filling in jell-d!!! wow what an episode. I'm over "Choadie" and Sheila and Karen. They're either creep me out or piss me off. I felt so bad for Mandy, I was shocked at that revelation. Ian is an amazing friend to her. Steve better find Marco. Lip needs to not scream at Fiona and start helping her out like an adult. Fiona should've taken the job so she could make the money she needs for the family. V and F are amazing best friends. I'm pretty sure Debbie and Carl were secondhand high during the movie, just sayin.
Cricket's bed is like my dream! Agree on the boob jobs- some people didn't grow theirs into later in life (cough cough). My mother's comment re: Carlene "Is she in heat or something?" Tis true, those two get it on more than teenagers.
Charlie totally knows he is getting taken advantage of and doesn't care as long as he's still getting that tail. Tyler's moms were great. I'm starting to hate Tyler a bit less now. Also glad that Batesy came clean to Karen.
Don't worry the whore's bath line is in the quotes!! Hilarious! And yes I forgot to include Dave's proposal to Alex in his montage of "bad ideas" and that was absolutely hilarious.
I just felt Lemon was so selfish last night when Zoe came to the hospital and she said "what the hell is she doing here?" I totally get that she doesn't like the girl who is pining after her fiancee and I support that, BUT Zoe is a doctor whose concentration was going to be cardio and her father is a famous cardio surgeon. Can't she just not be petty for one second and realize this is about George's father getting the best care he can???
Theory which I will discuss further on tomorrow's roundtable: Tyler and Daniel got into a fight and Tyler knocked him out, thus Daniel's fall and black out memory. Takeda took out Tyler with Emily's gun and then made sure to get rid of Amanda as well by taking the keys to Jack's truck. Amanda found Tyler's body bc she was running to stop him and warn Emily when Jack made her realize Emily was her true friend. Takeda told her he would help her deal with her opponents after she buried the box. He protects her above anything else. That's why Emily looked genuinely surprised and distraught when Charlotte was screaming "Daniel." She knew Tyler was getting taken out, but didn't expect Daniel. The second Tyler took Daniel's phone, I realized it would be him who got murdered. Phew! Long theory!
I think I speak for everyone on the roundtable when I say we are not "shippers." We simply review what we thought of the episode and sometimes think certain people's chemistry is well written. So do not get angry with us! This isn't a shipper thing. Thanks! Keep reading!
@Lola - reviews are the author's opinion. I don't see what you think I don't "get" about the show. Just because I don't love every storyline or character doesn't mean I don't understand it. I still gave this week 4 stars because I think even the stuff I'm not a fan of was well done.
OMG I would love some OC stunt casting. Zoe took those paintballs like a champ. For the record, this New Yorker would be screaming if there was a mouse in her apartment.
First of all, Pretty Woman reference holla. Second, I agree with all you've said. At the core of everything though, Hank cares more about Becca than anything. For all the scumbag things Hank does, he is always always there for Becca and I love that. Next week should be interesting when Natalie Zea returns!
Not the best episode, but the FNL subplot made up for it! I would totally not wait for someone to watch the FNL finale, sorry I'm not sorry, Texas Forever yo
I'm split on this episode. First of all, how did Nene end up on this show? I'm not complaining at all but whatttttt? The storylines were messy, but I really enjoyed the songs. That's what it comes down to for me. Rachel was flawless singing "Without You" I actually might like it better than the original. Also, despite Will's hideous tuxedo, I was all smiley and misty eyed during the proposal scene to "We Found Love." Like I said before, at this point I really just watch because I think a lot of them are supremely talented performers! We all know Ryan Murphy gets bored of his shows after a few seasons, hello Nip/Tuck anyone?
