I love, love, love, love the Mercedes/Rachel friendship. Most talented singers by far on the show. I just wish Mercedes would stand up for Rachel when she's being bullied by the rest of the group. She's a great stabilizer for the more up in the air, eyes on the stars all the time characters of Kurt and Rachel. I loved the scene with the three of them having a sleepover. I think Ryan Murphy has heard the fans outrage over her treatment and gave her some friendly interaction with Mercedes and Kurt.
Why do they continually abuse the talent that is Jane Lynch by giving her lame story lines that don't have a drop of reality in them?????
Season 1 she was borderline unrealistic but now its like the writers are trying to one up themselves by making Sue unforgivably nasty one minute and then humanizing her the next????

I thought Tina hated bullying. Why then did she suddenly join the girls that mocked her? In order to mock Rachel? Mercedes went up in my books for not jumping on the band wagon and staying true to herself and her personal style.
I think Heather Morris a talented and lovable person but Im starting to tire of Brittany's stupidity. Its not even funny anymore. I love the parts where she's being sweet, like her relationship with Santana. I liked that she was hurt by that way she was being treated. Also I like that she's a good friend, even though Santana does nothing to deserve it. And I like her with Artie, he's good to her and doesn't make her feel cheap. We need more of that on the show. Sweetness.

The thing is, Blair has had some really bad fashion moments since she left high school. The stylists are bored and want to try something different. All that's happening is she's looking half done. Like something's always off. While she wears beautiful pieces and the hair's not right. Or her make up is great and her shoes don't match. The appeal of Blair was that she was always so well put together. Leave Serena to be the experimental one. Blair's classic. The stylists need to go Givenchy instead of gaudy.
Had to be the sour grape here...But I think this couple is awful. As friends they work but as love interests they fall short. Serena and Dan had more chemistry, of course, but it's just not here with Blair. Blair and Chuck, while I agree they shouldn't be together, had amazing on screen chemistry. These two have been in hot couples but together they have such a friend vibe. Blair (Leighton) especially doesn't look all that interested. I have a feeling watching these kiss will be painful and will ruin the best friend banter. Blair needs someone to spar with that she doesn't end up in bed with.
I was really and truly finished with Glee when they bombed just before the break. But I love Thriller and the football zombies made me try one more time. Thriller as an episode was ok-ish as far as story lines go but I really enjoyed the songs. Thriller/Heads Will Roll was amazing!!! Artie was a perfect choice and I like how they've combined Mike's dancing talents to his voice. Really well done. Also I loved Rachel and Puck's unexpected team up for Need You Now. I've always liked Mark Sailing's voice and combined with Lea, it was amazing. Love Songs was even better, they actually bothered with character development. I adore Kurt and Blaine together,seeing them in love and working like a normal couple does a lot to further gay rights while not being overly preachy. They also addressed the sudden Quinn and Finn Reunion, just their names together make me want to see them fail. Quinn likes the football star Finn was before Glee, she's reminiscing. Finn admits to being confused. Which is a believable state for him. Also he seems to think by stealing Sam's girl, he can get out of the cheater's victim role. All that happens is that he ends up hurting Rachel. Poor Rachel, she needs a new beau. I was psyched to see that Glee was finally starting to rise in quality. THEN THIS WEEK HAPPENED. Glee's "Come Back" crashed and burned with Bieber fever. The idiots over at Fox failed to realize that their audience is 14-34s, mainly within the 16-18 year olds. VERY FEW OF THOSE GIRLS LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER BECAUSE ALTHOUGH HE'S 16, HIS FAN BASE IS A BUNCH OF 12 YEAR OLDS! Teenage girls think he looks like pedo bait, they hate him and they hated him on Glee. I actually fast forwarded through his songs and Lauren's solo. As a side note I want to say that I like her a lot but the girl CAN'T sing! Like with Mike, stick to what these people can do. Lauren is funny and like her attitude but leave the solos for the Glee kids that can sing. About Sue, as much as I liked her in the past, Im bored with her. There's nothing she can do that would shock me. No comment of hers that comes off as wickedly crass. All I found was a dull sense of outrage as she threw Tina into a locker. Its believable that Lauren would chuck Santana but NO FAULTY WOULD EVER BE ALLOWED TO TEACH IF THEY HAD THROWN A STUDENT. Or in fact showed any kind of violence. The cannon stunt was mildly amusing but this week she went too far again...Sue would have been fired a long time ago, the excuse was that she was winning the cheerleading nationals...She doesn't even have a team. What does she do anymore for that school? Why is she even there? I get that this show is just a show but it's really underestimating the intelligence of its viewers if they think we're not expecting some attempt at realistic conflict within a series. Then they make her a choir coach. The funny thing is...They keep saying Aural Intensity beat them last year but wasn't it Vocal Adrenalin that won Regionals? What happened to them? I miss you Idina Menzel. As for Sam, don't like him. Never have and I wont start now that he's sluting around with Santana. Quin was wrong for lying, no doubt about that but his attitude bugs me and Puck is a much better singer. Oh and about Santana, if she adds anymore Ss to the end of her words Im going to pukes alls overs yous. I wants you? Who the hell thinks that's cool? While agree that bullying Kurt needed to be addressed, I just can't believe that people are allowed to be so mean to Rachel all the time! What did she ever do to anyone? Expect try to inspire them to win? Yah she's a little annoying but she's never really been malicious. The girls in Glee club are awful to her and no one ever says anything about it. Yet time and time again she's put down by everyone, even Mr. Shuester. Will is the biggest hypocrite of all time on bullying. He stands up for Kurt but bullies Rachel himself and lets it go on in his class. And while Im no fan of Santana, he should never have allowed the entire class to turn on her like that. He's supposed to be the teacher!!!! I can't stand the arrogant idiot. This episode was really disappointing. I had hope there, I don't want to give up on Glee but I may have to. Bring April back or something. And if they do anymore tribute episodes Im going to lose it!!!
Oh and I forgot about Scott. The lurker. Although that was the dumbest plot line out of season three, neither Lily nor Rufus bother to check up on their son that they were so desperate to find. Agghhh, Rufus used to be a good parent but since he hooked up with Lily, he's sent his daughter away instead of dealing with her and sent a former convict/romantic interest to Serena to live with his son without so much as a text message of forewarning. Now he spends all of his time with someone else's kids, eating cake and not bothering to invite his children to the "family" celebration. Lovely.
How many times is Lily going to slap her "son"? And...the best mother of the year award goes to!!!!! At least the first time Lily was partially justified. Now the writers are just recycling old plot points, praying that we don't notice.
And who is Lily to be mad at Chuck in the first place? This woman has cheated on his father, multiple times, before and after they were married. Also she was seen with Rufus before Bart was even cold in the ground. She doesn't bother to lift a finger to find him after he disappears to Thailand, you know the safest place for a teenager to be. Then he's shot and missing again in Paris, so what does she do? She sends her teenage daughter (who by the way has the IQ of a houseplant) to "identify the body" because she's soooooo busy. She then takes over the company from Chuck to "protect" his future. After fucking that up she proceeds to go behind his back and sells it on him. Also, she's the reason that Thorpe is after Chuck and she doesn't bother to patch that up either. OR be honest for once with either her "son" or husband. And she has the audacity to be shocked and hurt when Chuck no longer wants her on the board of Bass Industries? Also, losing your temper once is forgivable but twice? Argh she's really starting to piss me off. Team Chuck on this one. Don't let the bitch get one more penny from your father's hard earned legacy.
Also, Lily is ignoring the fact that her 17 year old son was on drugs and has no friends, except a drug dealer that used to have his claws in her 16 year old step daughter. And that same step daughter so screwed up that she has to live in Hudson. Eric is being black mailed because of her crap and she's not giving him the slightest bit of attention, instead leaving that to Rufus. Who doesn't give a damn either. Her daughter is pissed at her for sending her teacher to jail, without bothering to tell her. Then she tries to buy him off to leave town and because she got him paroled, which still makes it impossible for him to teach, she thinks that Serena should come crawling back.
The only normal one out of the Bass-Humphrey-Van der Woodsen clan is DAN!!! Meanwhile he's currently half in love with his step sister and half in love with his step-sisters-best-friend/sometimes enemy and the one responsible for banishing his own sister!
Ick, Russell Thorpe is a slime bag. And Raina's an idiot for believing that her daddy's perfect. We need the old rock star Rufus back to beat the shit out of Thorpe for hitting on his wife.

Hahaha, Lily spent more time patching things up with "Charles" than she did Serena. He is definitely the favorite and that could be because there's no Rhodes' genes in him.
