Am I the only one who thinks that Georgina or GG's blast has NOTHING to do with Dan sending the video in?
Dan still knows Georgina IS Gossip Girl and can use it against her if she blasts about the wedding video. Besides, you don't need to join forces with Chuck just to do that simple task.
I think that Guck (?) will divide and conquer: While Bass goes and tips B about Dan, G will has to do something about Ivy, Van der Woodsens or the will.
But who knows? Beside, outing someone that tips you off about a gossip is not good for bussiness. People will stop sending you blasts. JUST SAYING...

But I feel like Nate's character is being used as "the make it happen" kinda character.
You need a party so Dan and Blair can kiss? Nate's having one!
You need a cellphone to call Ivy and then a ride around the city? Nate can do it!
You need a car to leave a debutant party? Guess who came with a Town car that so happens to have their break broken down!
That's what I mean by "Nate being used as prop again"
OF COURSE MY LAST POST WASN'T "THE END"! That's what happens when you write and write and never look back. I need to set the record straight about something:
I know that is imposible for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER to have a storyline in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. It could get pretty messy if so, BUT, that's the problem with this writing and why the quality of the show decayed so much.
They make stories that are complex and then try to solve it or shove it under the rug in the next two episodes. It is proof that the "long term" SL is NOT the writer's strong suit. Take in place: CHARLIE RODHES. That Ivy girl is now a starring when she could have been EASILY a recurring character. Maybe build up the Lola person a bit more. Show her around in more episodes, get to know her in the background, so her appearing isn't so drastic.

Chuck was... depressing really. In my opinion anyways. I mean, I laughed and tought he was being a GIGOLO most of the episode. It's The "everyone is pinning on Blair" show lately. Why would HE do all this scheam? He already had Blair. He is becoming too good for her. Well, probably he's not good to begin with, but he needs to move one.
If they are meant to be together, they will find their way. For now, DAN IS WITH BLAIR and CHUCK SHOULD BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. I still love EVA, she should totally come back! Loved CHEVA :D
All in all I LOVED THE EPISODE. I still feel sad for CeeCee's departure. GG make me shed one single tear, that hadn't happened in a loooong loooong time. I hope we can get more drama and the real Gossip Girl return. Georgina is a very bad substitute.

I feel like Nate's character is fading away. Again. I can almost hear the writers saying: "OK, Nate's got a job now, we are done fixing this one" and it's not. They are, YET AGAIN, using a main actor as prop. He'll probably be the link to Lola and the Van Der Woodsens.
I don't see any good SL surrounding neither of the Charlies in the horizon. But IF something is cooking around Lola, I hope she's a main character next season. Jenny all over again. I don't buy Caroline's reasons to get a FREAKING actress to play her daughter!
I am ALL FOR DAIR, some of you know it by now, but I have to admit that tonight Blair was a B****! She was spoiled, oblivious and selfish.
She didn't HAVE to kiss Dan in front of Serena! She didn't HAVE to spend all day with Dan just to make a point to her BFF.
Serena, today, was... so mature! I mean, if I were on her shoes, I don't know if I could handle things like she did. Despite the fact that I couldn't even take a step on her heels. Lol. I hope S keeps growing. I really feel for her right now.
Dan was OK, it was a good calling for him to try and stay as far away as posible from Blair (wich, consequently wasn't posible... AT ALL!).
I'll have to disagree with you, Lindsey. I actually tought it was a great episode and the story lines merged quite naturally.
Loved it and for a SPLIT SECOND there, I tought Jess was actually going to hook up with Schmidt! Thank God that didn't happen! Tough I knew that CeeCee would be on the bedroom!
Loved those two! Nick was great and so was Winston. I just wished they could have make Oliver a bit hotter :(
YOU SAID IT ALL! It is right, even tough Chuck IS Blair's first love (and you always love your first love), sometimes the paths do not continue together.
That's why I love DAIR, because they share the same passions and like the same things, but not in a disturbing kinda "clon" way. I know I said before that the timming wasn't right, but I'm sorry... I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THE PROMOS!
@PTY: To answer your question... no. I mean, not for me at least. When you are in love (at least on Dan's side) you don't really think about every single thing. I mean, I wouldn't. And when you have all these feeling bottled up inside, just bubbling and forcing to come out... eventually you'l explode. Wichever the context.
It's like when Chuck had sex with Blair while she was "in love" with Louis and about to marry him. She was cheating then too, remember? It's more or less the same. Just a contract, that's it. Had it been Chair tonight, you wouldn't read so many haters, would you?
I do agree that writers ARE indeed messing everything up and I DO enjoy your coments (even when you trash DAIR) because they are well constructed posts.
Anyways, tonight was great for me, and for all DAIR FANS out there. Once again, I'm sorry if I sounded rude on my last post... it's just that some people here are just TOO FANATIC OF CHAIR.
I mean girls, wouldn't you love a guy that likes everything you like; challenges you intellectually; nurses your mind; is a great writer; protects you when you need to get away; keeps your secrets; is super sweet to you; is your shoulder to cry on AND is very hot too? REALLY? YOU WOULDN'T?
Anyways, I loved this episode. I want mean Chuck to emerge and I want DAIR FTW, I loved the tie scene, where B counted all the things Dan has done for her (good to know she keeps it in mind), his face after "are you gonna make your move or what" was priceless!
Felt bad for Serena tough, she is brooding a lot and pinning on Dan hard, but still... it's sad not to be corresponded on love. I think she should just move on. Nate was so, SO great for her IMO.
Can we just get rid of Louis and his subordinates, please? I think that, in the end, that royal stalker will give B the answer on the divorce loophole. She wants to bang Louis, big time.
I love this website, I do, but sometimes I don't feel like giving my opinion because there are SO MANY PEOPLE annoying with their "UUGHH DAIR KISS" "STUPID DAN, GO CHUCK" and all THAT CRAP!
You can't possibly be this silly to just STOP WATCHING A SHOW BECAUSE OF A KISS, can you? I mean, most of you look like children having a tantrum! Spoiled children.
I respect most opinions (as long as they are well argumented) but... oh my god, most of you are just being... spoiled!
Yey! I was just asking to get a flashback episode and I got it! It'll be fun to watch the old Damon develope in what he is today. Come to think about it, we nearly don't know that much about him.
KLAUS AND CAROLINE: I like this. It's cool to see Klaus being put in his place for once and being "avoiding" to try and destroy her head. I like him actually, he's not very bad. He's just a sad a lonely boy. I'm not liking Tyler right now. I actually never really adjust to his character. Anyway, I'm not against him either, so...
DAMON AND REBEKAH: It was niiice, they are both badasses! Liked the connection there.
MAMA'S SUICIDE REUNION: Nice twist. Can't say I was surprise 100%, but it was nicely put together. I don't want the Originals to die! I wanted them being family together and going away in peace. "Fairytailysh" much?
Not the best, but a good one indeed. Can't wait for a "flashback" episode again. Those are great. But I don't think it'll be happening any time soon.
I'm all for Delena, but I kinda liked the Stelena scene. I mean, I was pissed at first, but then I got to compare it with Dan/Blair/Chuck situation. How mature was this character against Queen B character.
I don't know who to explain it. Anyways... I liked the episode. I mean it wasn't AS good and "in-your-face" kinda episode, but was packed with very good story lines in development.
DREAM SEQUENCE. I know GG writers are stupid, but not THIS stupid! It's one of the most important fictional couples of the last year on the fan bases. They wouldn't make a kiss scene on a public place, that would ruin the surprise factor.
