Fine, I don't care about the Chair interaction anyway, Serenate's being far more interesting, but even thou there's nothing big happening with them I think they're gonna start having more interaction from next episode on.
I'm so confused about this episode. The promo is really... I don't know, it got me really tense, but maybe that's because I didn't watch yesterday's ep yet.
I had it coming since we already knew we would watch the 3some scene in the episode featuring Lady Gaga. Apparently Bad Romance will be playing during the flashbacks and her performance.
liked the serenate interaction but i'm dissapointed at the same time. i used to be a huge serenate fan, since first episode, first season, but now i don't know... i kind of lost my faith in them. besides, they made scarter something so beautiful and strong. why ruin it? it makes no sense. it's like they ruined serenate and scarter, and honestly, now scarter seems much more interesting than serenate. hated nate this episode, is he turning into his father or something?
also hated blair, but that's ok, i think we're supposed to hate her sometimes. loved how she got punished and loved the ending with vanessa. loved vanessa. the way she tried so hard not to cry on the phone, with her mom, was just... intense, jessica was really amazing on this episode.
I hope to see some Vuck interaction and some Serenate action. I hope we have a surprise with Serena and Nate in the end. I mean, they're going to play to help Carter, but we know Sebastian won't be on the next few episodes so it probably means Carter's leaving the city and...? Will Serena and Nate have some sparks today, like they had first half on first season?
Ok I almost cried like a girrrl during the Rufus/Lily/Scott scene! It was really strong and beautiful, I LOVED IT.
I was expecting to see the Blair telling Nate everything about Bree, just for the sake of the NJBC and I was expecting so much more of Bree. I mean, it could've been bombastic, shocking, but it wasn't, she acted very well in this episode, but she was still so boring and filler. Also expected more of Brate last interaction but I guess it was ok, right?
What I LOOVED the most is a) even thou I'm liking Chair more and more every episode (I used to hate them) the episode really wasn't about them (The Chair Show LOL) and it was one of the best episodes of all seasons and b) SEEREENAATE! The ending was OH SO PERFECT, I could almost hear GG saying "now take a look at the pretty and the prettier, they're lookin sad, now, but it's just a matter of time till they hug each other and live happily ever after like it's meant to be since they first met - serenate is fate" (L)
Well I'm not Nair and I'm not having delusions, the fact is Chuck knows Blair and she couldn't argue with him.
Knowing Blair she would defend herself and say that her problem with Bree have nothing to do with Nate, but she just couldn't, because she cares. I see that Chuck loves her, but even I as a GG fan since first season don't trust Blair feelings for him or anyone.
I like Chair more and more every episode and I hope they won't bring Nair back again, but Chuck wasn't all blind and jealous, I think he was right and Blair consented. Not saying that she's in love with Nate, just saying that she's not completely over Nate and what they had for so many years.
And about she and Serena being frenemies again, we'll see if it's about Serena being mean to Chuck or Serena being so close with Nate. To me the second alternative makes more sense and it's what the spoiler said, but oh well, we'll see.
Oh no, let me correct myself. Blair's instincts will be spot on because Bree's trouble and Blair's right, but we know by the synopsis that she will go to Nate to talk about Bree. She's worried, I think this is nice and very solid, I like to see the NJBC relationships being well explored.
It's not surprising that Blair might have trouble with Nate moving on. She's a very possessive person when it comes to the people she loves, whether platonically or romantically. A little part of her may want Nate in limbo, even as SHE has clearly moved on 100%with Chuck.
I can't imagine Blair EVER having the type of relationship Dan and Serena now have with any man she's loved. That is, being able to talk about their current boyfriends and girlfriends without any hint of jealousy. I can see Nate being able to do this because he has done it in the past and continues to do it now. But not Blair and not Chuck for that matter. (She and Chuck are so alike in that way - super possessive.)
Agreed. Don't agree with the rest of the post thou. Any good Chair fan would say "Chuck's right because Chuck knows Blair better than herself and knows when her eyes are not matching with her mouth" or something, so I think he is right and she just couldn't tell him that he is wrong and that she doesn't care about Nate moving on, so, I think we should all deal with it.
