OK, Season 3 is still improving. But Serena going with Tripp??? OMG, SOOOOO not believable!!!!! Sorry, but just look at them side by side. And Serena really barely even knows Tripp!!! uggghhhh.... She'll end up with Nate later this season is my prediction. But I am forever Seredan, so I am disappointed that it seems like they are both gearing up for major relationships (that really began in season 1). And Chuck coming to Jenny's rescue was hot, don't get me wrong, but straight and narrow, enforcer Chuck is just making me say WTF?!?! ALL the time... and Chair was just as boring as they have been the rest of this season. And I hate what they're doing with Jenny. It's so schizo. That said... the rest of it was AWESOME, loved the threesome aftermath DRAMA! I know most of you hate Vanessa but I am soooo glad to see Lizzie McGuire go, and Gaga's guest appearance was FIERCE!!!! The Snow White cabaret performance was hilarious too. Loved seeing the old Blair back in action- this is the kind of thing she REALLY would have done right away upon arriving at NYU!! Finally!!!
If the threesome is REALLY D/V/O this show will be soooo over for me. Dan and Vanessa can NOT hook up in any way, shape or form- EWWW!! They are like brother and sister!!!! And I just cannot picture Lizzie McGuire in a threesome not matter how hard I try (admittedly not very hard... gross). WTH, GG?!?!?!?!?!
Looks like the (highly off) beat goes on next week. Like Serena didn't already apologize before Blair gave her the high drama "we're DONE" last week? And now all she requires is an apology??? The boredom looks all set to continue...
He's not getting engaged, he said himself he is way too young to be thinking about getting married when they interviewed him on Mojo in the Morning on the Detroit radio station 95.5. You can go to their site and listen to the podcast yourself... I know a lot of people lie about it, but I'm convinced listening to his tone of voice he's not lying.
Too bad Ed Westwick doesn't share Chuck's killer sense of style. His constant display of chest hair reminds me more of a dirty trucker than the walking sex that he could be. Jessica's a pretty girl!
I am with the minority that is facing the reality of our beloved show going down the tubes BIG TIME this season. :( The show is getting boring, erratic, and illogical- not to mention the fact that the characters are suddenly like almost completely different people, or cheap imitations of who they were at the best. I am getting so frustrated and disappointed with the awful work of these cheap new writers.
Chuck is becoming much too predictable, Blair is getting annoying, Serena is making ZERO sense (the obsession with finding her dad made sense... but that translated into an obsession with a random publicist job and being subservient to a bitchy boss?), Dan is flat out BORING (I miss that dry humor), Hillary Duff is just WTH, Nate is MIA, and Jenny is being uncharacteristically mean and stupid. I mean, didn't she learn this lesson LAST year? Rufus and Lily are getting BORING too. Now that they're married, the best storyline they can come up with is the difference in the volume of trick or treaters between their two homes?? Excuse me while I go nap... yet I can't bear to stop watching, because like those of you who are still deluded into thinking this episode was "totally awesome!" I'm just not ready to give up hope yet. I hope it's just growing pains and we move on soon.
I guess quick is a relative term. :) Forgiving and forgetting HAS to happen quickly on this show I guess, or no one would ever be speaking to anyone else. My money is on a Chair make-up (and make out ;) this episode for sure... but we see on the promo that at first he just wants Serena to help him, and to keep Blair out of it.
Poor, poor Jenny and her little tortured soul... to rule or not to rule?? Oh, high school is so hard... LOL I just re-watched the season 2 finale again this morning. Nelly: What's high school without hierarchy? Jenny: Bearable? A nice place to spend time? LMAO, Taylor's delivery was so perfect on that... THAT is the Jenny we all want to see more of! Come back, come back, wherever you went!
LOL this is the "I don't want Blair involved with this" bit... don't you love how quickly Chuck forgives and forgets Serena almost busting this whole club plan completely, yet Blair tells one tiny lie and is completely off the trust radar??
I'm with you Vesna, although it is really realistic that Blair would be going through these 'growing pains' at the beginning of her freshman year. I think Chuck grew up because he had already gone through everything with losing his dad and inheriting the company and all the issues that went with that the year before... whereas this is the first time Blair has been not hero-worshipped by her peers. I DO hope it ends soon though (and if her sit down with Vanessa at the end of 'Eve' is any indication, it will). Even when she's at her worst we all love to see Blair on top (and Chair as equal partners in crime!). I'd like to see her cool it a bit about being better than everyone else and grow up a little, yet still retain enough of that vengeful, cunning minx we all know and love. ;)
I love how the meaner Jenny gets, the edgier her clothes and the darker her eye makeup gets! lol... and when she starts being nice again, her clothes brighten up and the eyeliner recedes...too funny! :D
HA, Stella... do you really think something as trivial as being "not invited" will stop Blair?? :D lol... when has it ever? I love this pic, they are way too ridiculously good looking.
1- I'm with DANdy. Chuck absolutely has me creaming my jeans every time he opens his mouth this season (and even when he doesn't... that hurt/angry stare he gave Blair before leaving the freshman toast was killer). My husband is starting to feel neglected, and I don't blame him...

Could I care less about his family's political aspirations??? Ummmmmmmm..... NO. I believe the Carter thing. I think he is really trying to change and this was his one way to really prove it to Serena, and she took it away from him (reminding me of her mother in the whole Rufus vs. Lily's money battle).
Oh, and was NO one else appalled by that horrendous black and brown dress with the granny shoes they had Blair in??? I think Georgina slipped her costumer some roofies this week...
I just KNEW Blair would get busted this week!! The Blair/Chuck bliss was not going to last forever, you knew they were going to throw a wrench in there at some point to keep us dying for more! Overall, her sin is pretty small though so Chuck BETTER take her back! When he said he was "in a meeting" and the camera closed in on his face as he shut the door I was really afraid there would be another girl in the room! But NO... Chuck really has come a long way.
