Wow, how I miss Mark now!
I agree, I am so happy too, that was a long time coming... I am happy that they went all in this time, no running back and forth. This whole complaint will force them to reveal their marriage, though. I think both Murphy and Stephanie are badly written, I just don't like them that much.
I only started thinking McCallister as Red John when they got the list down to 7. Then when I thought he was dead, I thought it was Bertram, but I was disppointed with him as Red John. So, I am glad it was McCallister, he's charismatic yet creepy at the same time. And Xander Berkley was amazing which made it more believable. My favorite scene was actually the reveal, I didn't expect it and I felt chills. Now I am only disappointed we didn't get a backstory, I would hae been nice to find out before Jane does, so we could connect the dots. And I would like for Bruno Heller to explain how RJ figured the list out. He told Lorelei before Jane knew himself...
After reading comments on other sites, I guess I misinterpreted the whole thing and Mulan does have feelings for Aurora now? If that's the case, I guess I would have liked for her to say it clearly, because I find it ambiguous. Some people like myself still wonder when exactly did she fall in love with Aurora? I might not be good at reading the subtext and understanding the unsaid...
Loved that twist with Regina and Robin Hood. I love how even in the third season the writers can still surprise us.
Now that I read the rest of the comments I realise some of you came to the same conclusion as I did that Mulan still had feelings for Philip.
I think I didn't watch the same episode you all did. When Mulan went back to talk to her loved one, she asked for Philip. She was crying because Aurora being pregnant meant there was no more hope for Philip and her. I don't know why people interpreted it as Mulan having feelings for Aurora... I guess we all hope to see a gay character on the show, but so far that hasn't happened unfortunately.
I'd rather the gay character be a new character introduced instead of changing the existing characters. Peter Pan maybe? With one of the lost boys...
But I feel that eventually he'll find out and I hope that in time they'll have figured a way to end the Troubles some other way, but I doubt it. The show wouldn't exist without the Troubles. I feel like we're reaching an impasse. But I trust the writers it seems they always find a way to surprise us and come out with something we haven't seen coming. The only decpetion I have is we seem to get stuck in that forbidden love pattern. It feels like Audrey and Nathan will never be able to find a way to be together.
And finally I agree with you Choann,I also like Duke and Audrey as friends, I always rooted for Audrey and Nathan. And now, I am happy that he found Jennifer. And it seems fitting that Duke is he one who unmasks Audrey since Nathan is blinded by his hurting and sadness over losing Audrey.
I don't agree with the reviewer, I loved this episode. But as a huge Haven fan, I always like any storyline they throw at us. They always find a way to surprise us. I couldn't tell until thend that Lexie was Audrey, but I did find that she seemed to subconsciously remember things that Audrey could do. But it happened it the barn too, so I didn't make a big deal out of it. What I found weird is she really seemed to do everything to prevent Nathan from falling for her. She was rude to him and told him about her history with drugs and wild sexual experiences just to repulse him. Then at the end I figured it was all planned. She wants to make sure he won't recognize Audrey underneath this rough exterior. And the reviewer is right Nathan is to hurt and defeated to see clearly right now.
@katempw, I totally agree with verything you said. I always thought the subtleties is what defines the relationships. Nothing over board, it feels real.
