Miss Vincent's longer hair and scar BIGTIME.
As for Gabe, whatever...
Counting the days now!

I agree with most of your review, all except for Anniversay being the best episode. For me it was Bridesmaid Up, that dance scene was so amazing, yet another massive "chemistry moment". There are so many scenes in other episodes that were killer, all of them Vin/Cat connecting in some way. I agree that the Alex fiasco was absolutely awful, I will never revisit any of those episodes, though when people say they are upset that the writers let it go on even after everyone had voiced their displeasure, I'm sure the episodes were already written and unchangeable at that point. As for JT and Tess, love them together, very similar characters, a great foil for each other. Not crazy about Gabe at all. Will miss Evan, kinda. I give it an A-. The - is for Alex, the A because I can't help myself...

We all know what Jay and Kristin are capable of as actors, so I kinda have to lay the blame squarely on the writers for the lack of emotion at the end. I'm still in shock as to how they could let each other go without words of any kind...
I heard from another forum that there were scenes of her shooting at the helicopter and Vincent calling out her name as he was whisked away, but they were cut? I rewatched some of the older episodes this week, and man, they have got to recapture that magic. It is still my favourite show as well, but I want to be able to see it through an entire second season, so hopefully they have a few months to get their act together... Are the writers different now? I just don't get it.

For season two, I think that Vincent and Catherine will be kept apart and I'm not sure how to feel about that. They've never been apart, even from the very beginning, on the pilot. They've been together in some way or another in every single episode. It will be very strange not having that interaction, no matter how many other things are going on. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out, I really hope Gabe doesn't get too much involvement in season two, he really didn't do anything for me at all. I guess Vincents mother will have to show up at some point, and I can't remember if his dad is dead or still around...

I agree with Ladyhawk, I didn't feel the desparation that they should have been going through, being torn apart that way. I think I was more upset than Catherine was! I don't know why, but I just haven't been feeling that amazing chemistry between them the last few episodes. This is my favourite show bar none, I want that chemistry back!!!
I'll have to watch the end again, could she have slipped him a tracker or something when they grasped hands at the end? The way her real father looked at her, seems as though he loves her, maybe that will work in Vincent's favour?
OMG, what a long wait till October, hopefully time for the writers to get back on that old track...

OMG! First my hockey team wins the first playoff round, and then this? I'm exhausted, and a nervous wreck!
What an amazing episode, I felt more of that Vin/Cat chemistry tonight than in the last episode. I could see a fight coming with Vincent at the mercy of his "normal self" and it was pretty scary. Still very unsure about Gabe, and where his head is really at, not to mention his girlfriend... As Carissa said though, he had such respect for Cat's Mom, I can't believe he would do anything to hurt Cat, (or would he)? And that "FBI" agent at the end? He's a Muirfield guy! The writers have really outdone themselves on this episode, I can't believe there's only one left...

I think the writers need to make sure that Vincent doesn't become too normal, and by that I mean just day to day stuff. Part of the "Hotness" factor was that he was so mysterious, you tended to appreciate their time together more when it was harder to come by...
That said, there is no couple on TV right now that comes even remotely close to Vin/Cat, and I also hope there are no more love triangle episodes coming up, at least not involving Cat and Vincent.
Love this show sooooo much, can't wait to see what is in store for next season. I'd like to see a little more interaction between Vincent and Tess, as well as JT and Tess. I'm also a little concerned at the lack of comments on this site these days...

Loved this episode, but one thing I don't like is Joe...Don't like his character or his acting. He needs to go. As for Gabe, don't trust him at all. I'm not sure about Cat's dad, but I do think his wife has something to do with Muirfield. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid! I sure hope there are no more love triangles involving Cat or Vincent, not only would it be too unbelievable given their love for each other, but I couldn't stand another episode like the ones with Alex, I've rewatched all of the episodes except the ones with her. Too stressful! I am so hooked on this show, only two left I guess, at least until season two...

Ya, maybe not so much sizzle, but still, very informative. Also true that if you had Vin/Cat making out every episode, it would lose a little of that thrill factor.
Parisa mentions that it has not been renewed, but I believe it has. It was taken off of the "Vote One Show" contest on E Online because it was renewed.
What a huge relief that is! It makes a show like this last one with not as much chemistry between Vin/Cat much easier to accept, knowing there's lots more ahead! I liked the show, it opens up a lot of possibilities and other avenues.
Looking forward to this coming Thursday, as always!

The scene at the end was so moving, it's like every scene between these two lately is epic.
Great to see Lucas Bryant, didn't see that one coming. Now comes that long wait for the next episode, I know it's only a week, but...
