from watching one of the sneak peaks, it sounds like it's an "Anatomy Doll" with 24 removable organs and something can be added to make her look pregnant! it's one very cool doll ;)

Every time rose comes on-screen, I scream at her. So the worst parts would definitely be the ones involving rose. ESPECIALLY when she hands derek the blade of the scalpel. GRRRR

So even if he does get stabbed (literally or metaphorically), it'll all be ok. We all love a bit of drama anyway =P And it'll probably be minor. It could even be Cristina with that icicle or whatever... I'm not a huge fan of McKidd though. Grey's already has enough permanent cast members and he doesn't get to me. But it'll be nice to see Cristina with someone again x)
It's a pity Grey's only got 5 emmy nominations this year... compared to the 10 from last year. Oh well - this season will be theirs.
And I can't wait to see Patrick present again this year!!!

I think Derek's car accident could just be minor, so I'm going to go with the car accident one being genuine. After all, a bump/dent in the car is still classified as a car accident right? Then again, if the car accident is merely a minor one, if the heart-attack theory is correct, they wouldn't put a brace on him.
Either that or Rose could stab Derek with a comment, not literally stab him with a knife... or scalpel!

As for Meredith's imagination, it is pretty wild. So I guess anything could classify under that one!

"Movie Star" by Roisin Murphy and "Keep Me Warm" by Ida Maria were used for those scenes (respectively) when they were shown on the actual Grey's episodes, but they used completely different songs for these promos :(

Well I guess you have to have a heartless, unapologetic doctor and character in the show. It balances the characters out and with Alex comes humanity and material viewers are probably able to relate to.
Secondly, the whole show evolves around "Grey's" so they'd focus more on the interactions with Meredith... (and then there's Derek! YAY!) and although Alex was one of the 5 original interns, he doesn't intertwine as much with the rest, just like how he's emotionally secluded.
I think they need to maintain the diversity of characters, and hopefully Alex will divulge over time (lol therapy!) ... let's just wait for the surprises shonda has in store!
GEEE. Just watch the show and enjoy the entertainment! Besides, it's not like all of the Italians are doctors or work in the medical field anyway. That's the whole fun of it... they dramatise and sprinkle in romance and a whole lot of other components that make an awesome show. AND IF grey's gets banned, they're missing out on the best show ever.
