I second that, Snooker. The fashion is terrible this season, and I don't need to understand a lot about fashion to know that it used to be amazing and now they lost it.
Gee, that was a bad episode. Good thing is, the season has 5 good episodes (at least 3 of them are great, actually) and only 1 bad episode, so, I'm ok with it. Can't wait for the next.
Omg, most of you Chalek fan-girls are so rude, so mean, seriously, grow up -just a little bit- and stop bitching so much. Chloe's not you, Chloe's in love with Brian, you love Alek, but please, stop hating so much on Brian, if you don't like their beautiful romance you don't need to disrespect the few Chloe/Brian shippers and the characters Chloe and Brian so much. It is not the Alek show. He's growing on me, I think he's growing on everyone, but this is a TV show, I said I would probably stop watching if Chloe and Alek got together but I didn't, let's just try to enjoy the ride even if Chalek is not the main focus at the moment (and honestly, they kinda are, so people saying they're glad Brian died is just stupid, really).
Of course true love conquers all, that should be the positive message the show wants to give us - Team Chloe and Brian all the way! Nice post, KAJ, it is good to see a reasonable Chalek shipper who doesn't use arguments like "Alek is so hot".
Well I was rooting for Broe but I'm not anymore, they're clearly not going to make Broe work and most people, like 98% people are Aloe, so why would I waste my time. If there was at least good action scenes and exciting major plots I would probably keep watching, but now I really don't know.
Good episode though, one of the best since the pilot. A lot of things worked fine, I'm just disappointed the favorite character is another Spike/Logan/Damon. Let's just say I miss watching the "Angels" being interesting enough to get the girl, but I'm not going to be an idiot and say it was a bad episode because it really wasn't (I was gonna say I found it so terrible how Alek let Jasmine take the blame and how it reflects poorly on him, and how, at the same time, I find Alek and Jasmine more shippable than Aloe, but oh well lol), I'm sure every Aloe shipper is very excited so have a good show, yall.
I'm not so interested in Chloe's mom personal life. Amy and Paul were both great and very consistent. Alek is so annoying and full of himself but he's Chloe's Damon, Spike, the bad sexy complex guy most fan girls will love - personally I hate it. I also found it rather odd how Brian's dad and his lady reacted to Chloe, I expected more, but I guess there will be more on the next episode anyway. Finally, Chloe and Brian. Still rooting for them, but things are going reeeal slowly. I like slowly, I enjoy watching a good build up to a relationship, but that's not what I'm seeing, there really isn't much build up going on, they're still just kinda going in circles and it's like I'm watching for something more intense, more dramatic or simply romantic to happen but it never does. Ok, a little more romance this episode, I liked how he finally told her he's falling in love with her, but why do I have the feeling that unless there is something Mai they will simply stop talking to each other, now? I mean, they'll probably meet and talk, but they'll probably be back to the stake zero and I don't understand why they would continue like last night never happened (or why the writers and producers would do that, because it is freaking boring).
Oh, before I submit this... the fighting scenes. I like the fighting, I like the action, but they need to improve them. It's fine, we don't need a lot of action every episode, but they could still give us better action. They're not so well directed, but it's not that bad either.
If the promo said Chloe and Brian are supposed to be the one true pairing, I'm glad. I really don't like how Alek is so full of himself and I don't think Brian's dull, I only agree their relationship is rather odd, it's like they're running in the same circle since episode one, there is no, like people like to say these days, epicness at all.
I'm glad the show is about to become a little different though, this is that kind of show that you, being a fan of past similar tv shows (like Buffy, for example) have a lot of expectations and see a lot of potential and if it doesn't grow on you you choose to give up on watching instead to keep watching because it is "bah, kinda cool".
I like Chloe and Brian better, I love them and I really don't like Alek at all. This last episode wasn't very good, really, but the show has so much potential I just can't stop watching it, and... have I mentioned I love Chloe and Brian?
LMAO as if, B would never root for Jenny, in fact she would probably root for NS while Chuck would try to destroy them. Nate and Blair looks like they're suspecting of something imo, like they're not agreeing with something S agrees.
I'm not a big Chair shipper but I think this sounds interesting. Of course I would be going all crazy if I were a diehard fan of Chuck and Blair together like you guys, but think positive. This is gonna be huge, and they're probably solving this by the end of the season.
I just hope they keep making Serenate the strong couple they have the potential to be.
