I'm just happy the show is back. I'm hoping now that Donna works for Louis she can date Harvey, but, how exciting is it to find out how his new assistant will look and work out. DRAMA :-)
I loved this first episode, watched it twice, may go in for a third. So many things that could be or may not be. You, even in your review are calling E Corp., Evil Corp. We see Evil Corp. everywhere, but that's not their name. So what's real, and what's not? I'm already in love. Elliot, most intriguing characterm, wonderfully written and brilliant played by Rami. Loved the first scenes in the coffee shop with the child pornographer, wonderful acting on both their parts. Christian Slater, Mr. Robot, perfect casting. I really look forward to the rest of the season. To bad it's not netflix so I could just watch the entire season at once.
Oh, I hadn't realized that was a definate.
So, Grimms and Vesin are logical? The most illogical thing was everyone going into the house where Diane was being held and not going after the helicopter before the King and Julliet could get to it. Also, killing Nicks Mom, so easily. Seems to me that was corny. And, who was Trubel talknig to on the phone, it wasn't Nick. Lots of illogical stuff going on, but do we care, hell no, we love Grimm with all the over the top, unbelievable things going on :-)
Don't care for the Portia character but, damn she does it well. She's up there with all the other low lives, do anything to get ahead characters on the show. She outsmarted Cyrus so, she's good. Huck, deeper and deeper into insanity. I miss the old Huck. David did the right thing, forget B613, better alive than dead, and he has been saved a few times, so yeah, he made the right decision. Jake, WOW, how great a character is he? Did his job and stepped off, even though he loves Liv. Hope he didn't go far. They let Mama Pope out, uh oh, the stuff will hit the fan. So Dad's in and Mom's out. Get ready for the Cray, Cray. As to Papa Pope, in no realm should he still be alive, this dude is as crazy if not crazier than Mama Pope. I'm kinda worried about Olivia cause her DNA is tainted big time. Looking forward to the next Season, Mellie is not in her right mind right now, so once she realizes what really happened, she'll be back, as well as Cyrus. Those two together, watch out peps. Olivia and Fitz, make me smile and yeah, I always root for them. We know it can't work but the fantasy is alive :-). PS - As to why Fitz was so pissed, Mellie didn't discuss this with him she just did it and if you remember they made this "be honest with each other pack". Also, Mellie was the one that told Fitz to go to war to save the woman he loved, he was not going to do it. He should not have listened to her. That decision Mellie being Mellie. When Fitz shot down the plane, they were under the impression that there was a bomb on the plane and that they were saving lives by not allowing the plane to land. Wasn't true but neither Command or Fitz new that. Mama Pope played command.
A couple of things - Dean seemed fine to me. It's not like the Stynes were not trying to kill him, so he got the upper hand and smot them :-), and he told them he would. They killed Charlie, they deserve what they got. Why every one is saying Dean is off the rails is beyond me. Go Dean, Go Dean, kill'em all. 2nd thing, how come Cass couldn't bring Charlie back. I don't understand, what kind of Angel is Cass now? Seems he's not good for much. This episode was so good, so exciting and an over the top Dean is always classic wonderful Supernatural.
POI is one of my favorite shows. So interesting and thought provoking. I have to watch this finale again and hope against hope that Elias isn't actual dead. For that matter I kinda liked Dominic too, he was an excellent/smart adversary. Very annoyed that Greer didn't get shot, control could of at least shot him in the leg or something :-). So, if we have a fifth season, Harold will build a bigger and better machine, one capable of taking down Samarittan. Hopefully it won't take all of season five and along the way, we find Shaw.
Yes the show seems naive at times, but that's what we need or I should say what I need. Real life is in our faces all the time. We know the horrible things that go on in our Govt. I would just like to sit down on Sunday evening after watching 60 minutes and all the real awfulness going on in the world and enjoy Madam Secretary, with her clear goals and her loving relationship with her husband and the good guys winning sometimes. Good writing, good relationships and yeah could do less with the kids.
I agree. Law & Order SVU is a show I stay away from because of exactly what you said. They entertain by being brutally honest and I don't need that much honestly. This entire hour had me terrified. The rapist was way scary and what happened to Nadia was horrendous. Still brings tears to my eyes, how horrible what he did to her. Wonder how the gang will act once we get back to Chicago PD and one last thing. I hope Voight has him tortured in jail, over and over.
