    What the hell?!? WHy are Meredith and Derek always getting the shaft on these things?!! They werent on cutest couple(even though tons of people commented complaining about it, and now this?! They are the happiest they have ever been!!

    And to everyone else.... MARRIED COUPLE.. I feel like people ignore the question and just try to bring Damon and Elena into everything. Favorite brother sister relationship? DAMON AND ELENA! Cause...theyre close! like brothers and sisters....i mean...wtf!?!

    @mg okay lol im unbiased in terms of coupling but what did Elena do that was so bad?! um she started dating Stefans("I will always love you stefan" "you have no reason to ever worry. its always gonna be you stefan" brother right after she broke up with Stefan. The guy who she denied ever having feelings for.

    I definitely think that Aria is A! Or involved in somehow!! There has been so much in the TV show and online to support the theory and so many hints dropped by Marlene King.

    So when Ali Says I chose you... I think that is what she is referring to. I think Aria has some kind of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia and sees Ali and listens to what she thinks Ali wants her to do.

    Arias black swan dress? And Marlenes response to it. The fact that in "Unmasked" Aria was the only person actually unmasked. All The A's that appear around aria(A on the window after she wrote ARIA in A's handwriting. Aria wearing an A necklace. Mona calling her Big A), the fact that all the friends have said Aria is the best liar and Emily has gotten on Aria for so easily lying to her friends, The fact that Aria was the last one seen in A's red coat, (the same coat that the girl who talked to Mona shortly after at Radleys wore), etc.....theres too much evidence to ignore.

    but @ RedOktober people can change.. Damon was originally sweet and sensitive when he met Katherine...then he got screwed over by her and Stefan and turned Evil. It makes sense that Love can revert him back to his original self

    Caroline is awful lately. She completely betrayed Elena. I like the Stefan/ Rebekah Dynamic. I thought the I love you to Damon was way too soon. Sex and I love you...it all just happened so fast since she had just chosen Stefan when the season began. Also...why the hell did Damon order her to come to the cabin?! Of course she is going to cause she is sired... he should've been like "well come if you want." I can't stand April... and Bonnie is so dumb...obviously you can't trust this Shane guy. Why isnt anyone letting her know. And I do understand that Stefan wants to know if what Elena feels for Damon is real but to go through all these extreme lengths... its kinda crazy. I want to see him have some fun. Drink some more. Have meaningless sex... live a little and stop being so mopey and Depressed. Thats why I think rebekah could be good for him.

    I wonder how pissed Elena is going to be at Damon for letting Klaus kill all those people.
    Tyler...i dunno. Im bored with him. They could kill him off and i'd be cool with that.
    I'd like to see a new love interest for Matt that isnt as annoying as April... Someone strong and awesome. Maybe a werewolf for himself :)

    It's strange too cause a handful of these couples are new couples, some who have barely gotten their footing...

    Damon and Elena? I would hardly say that one episode of being together makes them a great couple?
    Emily and Aiden? Also very new, and she still obviously has complicated feelings for her exes.
    Zoe and Wade... brand new so we dont even know if theyre going to be a good couple.
    Jake and Addison? She's so wishy washy with all her men..it's so hard to get behind this couple...which lets face it ADDY will most likely cheat on him too.... shes cheated what...four times?

    I guess i'm just confused to what makes a couple the "best couple"

    you would think, good communication, perserverance, loyalty,support, unconditional love, encouragement, etc... And just...longstandingness
    Ben and Leslie...yes. Definitely a great couple. Charming and Snow.. yes(except when he was david and she was mary Margaret..that was terrible), Booth and Brennan, sure. Castle and Beckett..sure. Adam and Cristina..yess!! But the others? They should get their chance when they've proven to have lasted... You could have all the chemistry in the world... but suck at being in a relationship...which is the actual hardwork..

    Michael and Nikita, the couple from Up all Night, Callie and Arizona(Callie has stood by Arizona through SICKNESS and health), Will and Emma, Meredith and Derek(so supportive of one another), Lily and Bart(LOL JK),

    And this is not being bias on my fave pairings or shows. I love the PLL couples but they all lie to each other...so I dont think they should qualify. I love chuck and Blair...but they aren't really together etc.

    I just think being nominated for this category should be an honor, and characters should be worthy of it, and writers who work to create such awesome couples should be recognized.

Hes fixing his hand because of her encouragement... theyre a team.. and better then ever.. and shes not dark and twisty anymore because of him

    @Chantelle26.. we just disagree... I think that there isnt even a doubt amongst most TVD fans that Caroline flirted with Klaus at the dinner party...thats when people started to root for them..

    Also Caroline and Stefan saying that Klaus was no worst then them and they felt bad...doesnt make sense at all if they truly cared about Elena...I dont care what you think...I would never feel bad for trying to take down someone who murdered my best friend, her aunt and countless others, not to mention ruined the lives of so many of their loved ones... i mean I as a viewer like Klaus... but Caroline and Stefan as a best friend and someone whose in Love with Elena, shouldnt.

    and if you really were concerned about your best friend being with this guy who raped you, You would say..um he raped me and I hate it... and Elena would have to respect it...although I dont agree with you and dont think he did rape her at all...Caroline wanted Damon from the moment she saw him. So we just disagree...I think Caroline is jealous. The way she's acting is jealous... the fact that she would forgive Klaus for all his past actions and not Damon... is unreasonable...and she has proven to be judgmental SOOO many times in the past...it's just who she is... I loved Caroline season 2 and three, but i've noticed her going back to her season 1 roots, and im not a fan... It's not an argument... its what I've seen to be true.... Being a writer, and studying character development in college, has helped me be able to recognize such things.. So "my own bias" is actually the furthest possible thing from the truth, because I went to school to be able to study characters unbiasly. I love all the characters at some points, and despise them all at others. My studying is probably the least bias thing you can encounter. but thanks for the banter. it was fun

    More surprising: April freeing Rebekah, Klaus ripping out the hearts of every hybrid of Jeremy's physique?
    i dont find klaus(he is a villain) ripping out hearts surprising at all, and Jeremy is just going the taylor lautner route and beefing uo to make us care about him(yes its kind of working...)

    so i'll go with April. How did she know where the lockwood cellar was? Isnt it kind of a secret?

    Give the first half of The Vampire Diaries Season 4 a grade.
    usually id say A+ but i wasnt excited at the end of the midseason finale to watch the new episode...like past seasons...and also the sire storyline is the worst storyline since Jeremy cheated on his girlfriend with a ghost so i'll sa y B-

    I thought it was a terrible move!! I agree with Miranda! She betrayed her boyfriend and best friend in the same episode... She should have called Elena and asked her first why she was with Damon, and then she should have maybe still involved Bonnie if she was actually concerned and told Bonnie to keep an eye on them. There's nothing wrong with them helping Jeremy together...they only kissed once.
    And she should have NEVER told her best friends Ex boyfriend...thats just not okay. Although like I said...Stefan was so wrong in trying to make her tell him...It's not okay... and it upsets me that Stefan is trying to get Elenas best friend since childhood to pick him over her...find your own friends and stop trying to take your ex girlfriends.

    Pen a eulogy for Mayor Lockwood.
    Mayor Lockwood, you were all over the place. when we first met you, you were calling vicki trash, then being a cougar and flirting with Damon, then really intuitive(HOW DID SHE KNOW CAROLINE WAS A VAMPIRE!?!?) then you were a pretty awesome mom. You will be missed as that background character that nobody really cares about cause they dont have a point( every show needs one)

    And i'm referring to the end of the episode when Klaus and Caroline were saying they feel bad for Klaus cause he isnt much worst then them...

    and it's not "Pathetic fan girl talk" it's called studying the character...Caroline has always been jealous, insecure, neurotic, and when you're a vampire it's magnified...
    also, Caroline wasnt even upset by the fact that he used her sexually...since she's been used sexually by lots of guys as the pilot and other episodes refer to. Also The bloodbag thing was referred to when Caroline became a vampire and she was wondering if she was more similar to Damon and not Stefan in reference to feeding habits.. she also still had feelings for Damon after all that happened. And even as recently as last episode she said the reason she didnt like Damon is because he was a "narcissistic man slut" none of those seem to refer to her being upset over "Damon using her as a blow-up sex doll/blood bag by preying on her insecurities"

    What was your favorite scene from the episode?
    Ooh okay i will have two answers..i thought Klaus's murderous rampage to eery christmas music was beautifully done...so in terms of well directed scenes I go with that one including the drowning

    and other scenes... I liked Damon so much this episode...so hard to choose..from him being peaceful and normal and just enjoying watching Elena smiling with her bestie and brother,to the little boy look on his face when elena tried to kiss him under the mistletoe, to his simple kiss with elena before she got in the car...but I got to give it up to his comment to Bonnie nd Jeremy
    "geeee...i wonder who that could be..." Oh you matchmaker you

    Did Damon make the right decision in letting Elena go?
    No its so stupid...i Feel like it's just peer pressure from his brother... and I feel like Stefan is just being a dick to keep them apart

    Awful move. i agree with Matt. She betrayed her boyfriend and best friend in the same episode! Even though Tyler is kind of a douche..its still a no no in a relationship. And She should have called Elena first and been like "hey whats up?!? Why are you with Damon?!? What about the whole sire bond thing?! Or had bonnie keep an eye on them. Telling her best friends ex boyfriend is probably the worst thing she could have done... who else feels like Carolines crush since season 1 is still there. "Caroline...you and me. it's never going to happen."

    Jeremy is pulling a Taylor Lautner...being the annoying young character who beefs up and is suddenly interesting and since this show seems to at times ripoff of twilight(the elena opening her eyes scene to end season 3?) I wouldn't call that surprising. Klaus ripping out hearts...haha NO! That's so klaus!! Thats about as surprising as Damon drinking in the middle of the day. But April...um yes... last I heard the Lockwood cellar was kind of unknown to most people?! How did April know where to find it?

    I would usually always say A+ without a doubt...but the rushed ending up the latest episode, along with an awful sire storyline thats almost as bad as the time Jeremy was making out with a vampire ghost, I would have to give it a B-
