So I was thinking...Is Jack Bass totally not just allowing Chuck to be out of control, but really ENCOURAGING it? I have a theory that he is because he's upset that Chuck inherits control of the company and he probably wants C to look bad so that the board members will try to seize control of it (when they see how out of control Chuck is) and give it to him (jack)...is this totally far-fetched or do you think it's a possibility? Also... do you think it's Jack Bass that Nate's punching? wouldn't that be AWESOME! these are just my wild speculations...for all I know, Jack is an awesome uncle who loves Chuck dearly. I doubt it though; it would just be way more interesting if he didn't. And if someone official has already said that Jack is an ass then let me know cuz I honestly don't know. =]

I definitely see your point, Crystalized...but (bet you knew that was coming..:P) I'm just not sure if we can trust Nate to be that kind of friend. I know it's not the same situation, but he did get incredibly mad at Chuck when that whole thing with Dan happened at Yale; in fact, he stopped speaking to him altogether. (which was really just Chuck saving Nate and getting even w/Dan) I think Nate would be really conflicted if he were to discover that he still had feelings for Blair, but if he thought that Chuck didn't love/appreciate her as much as he thinks he himself does then he would eventually persue a relationship w/Blair. Of course I think that he would try not to at first, but would eventually if he thought he would be better for Blair to be with than with Chuck...
But of course, like you said, this is all just my opinion. and it might not even turn out that it's Blair he ends up having feelings for.
I disagree with whoever said that Nate wouldn't do that to Chuck; he did it to Blair who he was with since like kindergarten when he slept with S. So what's to stop him from doing it to Chuck?

I agree with most of you. (all the Blair/Chuck lovers) =] And I do really want to see him say those 3 little words back to her...and then watch them become a couple. But then I get really scared, cuz lets face it, this isn't a movie: it doesn't just end once the couple gets together and it's happily ever after. It would be really hard for the writers to think of ways to keep them together without the relationship getting stale. Because come on, it's a tv show; and tv shows are all about the drama and the surprises. How would they fit all that into a steady relationship?
I'm not sure, but I REALLY hope they figure out a way to do it. I'm just afraid that once the writers put Chuck and Blair together as an actual couple that they will ruin it in some way and have them end up like Dan/Serena. On and off again with tons of unresolved feelings...
