This was epic because Momma Shade was killed by the "mirror mirror on the wall". Did anyone pick up on that - left over from season 1. Renard to momma Shade "Mirror mirror - Dagger dagger" and it all bounced back. I have to admit I thought Nick would be the kiss - but Renard being purged to a pure heart might be a game-changing gambit.
I think Peters return was great and I don't remember him as so evil in season 1. He was getting revenge on those who killed his family. I loved the bonding of Isaac and Scott via the "vet/wizard". Hope Isaac survives the season.
I sort of enjoy the show but you can't bully a critic into critiquing a show that they aren't invested in. There are a lot of shows that aren't reviewed on this site. But how many hours and people are there to review every show? So TV Fanactic reviews shows that their reviewers are invested in. That is the way the world is.
But Julian Morris is not Prince Charming as Matt Dallas has already played the role for the whole first season.
You do realize that French is the diplomatic language. So not so weird - but you probably don't speak either German or French do you?
After having seen the whole season - I can say that this was a major episode. We have Nick realizing that the Wessen are so scared of him that he can't always be effective. (re Cat and Mouse). Plus he realized that Munrose and the kid would have a stronger link. So we get the introduction to the continuing Eisenbeiber presence.
They should have named this episode "Fox and Hounds" because it is quite clear that the Fuschbaus are the wily foxes of the Wessen and of course it was great that the BBW took out the hound. One my fave episodes since re-watching the whole season. This and the next episode about the "beavers". Great season development.
@raisin girlYou are totally correct! It is quite clear that Renard is a complety diffrent order from Grimms and Verrat. I love how the show uses "Germanic" sources for the Wessen - the real Grimm brothers were linguists who derived the development of shifts in languages from IndoEuropean to most of the Germanic languages including protoEnglish.
Please let Ray survive! I love his character and he has had a good influence on Josh lately -on the other hand Nora really turns me off - she is to like the wacko female purebred. Funny how the two versions of this show have spun the werewolf offspring. George had a "human" baby - OK she was the key to the "saving" of the world.
Well to complain but these interviews are unintelligible. Can you possible put up a transcript for the hearing challenged?
