So there is talk about cancelling one of my favorite shows???? Well, of course, it's on NBC. The Execs at NBC always cancel my favorite shows.. (Harry's Law, Kings, many others) and what they did to Conan was unforgivable.
Miranda, thank you for reviewing I must say, I really appreciate a reviewer that loves music; as it seems maybe you are a musician of sort...as I have noted week to week you seem to usually be on point, in terms of performance critique. I completely and totally agree with the TOP TEN...especially Kree, she has been my favorite since I heard her first note on AI 2013. The only person I would trade is Paul Jolly for Aubre Cleland, but that's just my hormones talking. With what has been a down year for AI, with a few I like in the Top Ten, there just might be an upside this year.
This was the only episode of Idol I've ever watched where I've actually fallen asleep! Other than Curtis Finch and Burnell Taylor (neither of whom will not win), there really isn't much else being produced by the contestants vocally that's all that impressive. The producers have manipulated this show in the ladies' favor so that another WGWG won't take home the prize. As for Charlie, he NEVER should have been put through to begin with. This kid needs serious professional counseling immediately. He could be a danger to himself. Parading him on national television is demeaning. It's been a great ride, but Idol is losing more and more viewers and the time for its demise is sadly coming very soon.
PS: Zoanette, I believe that she didn't ever rehearse...she butchered the lyrics on Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It."I am sure we will finally say, "GET THE HELL OUT!!" to Zoanette...based on her lack of music talent...I truly believe tho that Zoanette is a special soul, and beloved by many on IDOL....love to give her that, but not sure if I could take another performance like last night from her.
Okay boy's of American Idol...."Roll it up." Y'all just may as well go home...the girls got this....I totally agree with Lynsey's final five girl's...my favorite is KREE! She kind of reminds me of the Voice's season 3's Kaitlyn Michelle...of who I just loved.....I will listen to the guy's tonight...but YO DOG....it's a girls year..thanks to the producers. I actually enjoyed the Judges...I am slowly warming up to Nicky...but she still resides in a "weird space." Love Keith's and Mariah's critiques.
Larry Hagman....Rest In Peace....I believe.... never has there been a actor in a television series that has been so ardent, in the representation of nefariousness, in character reputation as Larry's portrayal; J.R. Ewing. He certainly personified the character as a person everyone loves to hate.
Well done, JR. To the family and friends of Larry Hagman my sincere sympathies. May he forever Rest In Peace.
I have never seen Sex In The City....so I am watching Carrie Diaries as a stand-alone television series and I love it...The producers do a great job of re-creating the eighties...the characters are interesting and charming...I love A.S.Robb as the lead....her acting is amazing...you can see the wheels turning in that sweet head of hers....I hope also the series gets renewed for a second season....may need some "tweeking tho." Reports indicating America just doesn't seem to be interested....sad.
Episode 3_01 Valar Dohaeris: "All Men Must Serve." in High Valyrian. I have never anticipated the first episode of any season more that I have for, "Game Of Thrones." a month away from today......
Watching American Idol since 2001, this is the first year AI (for me) has taken on the appearance of being a "Scripted Reality Show." Nicky M. did not like Bryant Tadeo yet he loved: Lazaro Arbos...yet he sounded just like Bryant???
and the producers sending Zoanette through...well....just nevermind...speaking of DISH....hocking your wears on someone else's platform is just, tacky and self serving.....be ashamed, be very ashamed............
PS: It is nice to see that Steven Tyler's career has really taken off since leaving Idol..
