Best Character: Tie Damon and Caroline. They have the best lines and have been through the most this season. Its a delight to watch these two together and apart.
Worst Character. Tie Bonnie and Elena. Bonnie is a plot device and even when they gave her a story it turned out to be a plot device. She needs a story and I hope season 4 is about giving her one. Elena has been selfish for most of the season, she whined about being in love with two people and having them both loving her back. Also hated that everyone else has to suffer so she can stay alive. Its irritating. I'm glad she redeemed herself at the end.

For the last time TR Knight WANTED to leave becuz he was being a byotch!!!! Shonda had to get new characters and Jackson was a hit!!! April not so much, and I'm with everyone who wants her dead. And again IT WASN'T an easy decision for Shonda to make but something BIG HAD TO HAPPEN to propel the show into the next season(s). Lexie will be missed, she became so deeply ingrained in the show that without her, it would be different and not the same. Which is the point, having the same thing week after week will be boring and people with bitch about that too. The aftermath of Lexie's death, Derek's hand, Arizonas leg will give the show new things to explore in season 9. Its amazing in a way. I cried so bad when she died, but its part of life. Things happen in a flash, just like that.
ALSO this isn't much different from ER when Mark Green died! Mark was the first person we saw in the first ep or ER. He was beloved, he died tragically and the show survived.
