What was your favorite scene or quote in Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 14?I a with Winston, Hannah's response to Mrs. Grunwald. Do you believe that Ali killed Mona? I think it would be too obvious that she killed Mona, but Ali is one crazy girl so she could have. What do you take from Mrs. Grunwald's visit? It is always good seeing Ali be afraid of someone. So I liked that part about her visit. Who attacked Aria? This episode made me think for the first time that Mike is A. It would explain his characters absences throughout the series, also the way he was not upset about Mona when he talked to Ezra. Also he is not a tall or big guy so he could easily put on a wig and pretend to be Ali. So I say it was Mike. Sadder scene: Aria and Mike or Paige and Emily's goodbye?Emily and Paige's goodbye. Since I think Mike is A, I believe his crying was fake. Make a prediction for this season.Of course more people will die. I do not think Mona and/or Bethany's killer or killers will be revealed until next season.

Such a great episode. One of the best moments for me was when Cameron was developing a small crush on Phil and then as soon as Phil got the Alpaca it was over.I knew that Hayley dropped her phone and was talking to it and not Alex even before we saw that it was indeed that. I loved that Phil stood up to Gil.The scene at the end when the Dunphy's were hugging and Jay came and joined them.
Such a great episode.I have a huge crush on Patrick John Flueger. That being said back to the episode. This was a very intense episode, but at least they managed to add some funny and sweet moments. As soon as the first commercials aired I tweeted to the cast as they always live tweet that the house was like a house of horrors. :) It seemed liked tons of people on twitter though the same thing. Ruzek and Burgess tried their hardest to keep their relationship a secret but it sure seems like every one knew they were together. Platt was funny when she told Ruzek she passed the Detective test twice when Ruzek asked how she knew. I really loved Voight going to visit Burgess and telling her she can join his team because after being shot officers can choose where the want to go in the department and that he would make an exception this time and allow two people dating to be in his unit. However I have a feeling Burgess will be scared to go back to work.Ruzek and Voight professing their love was very sweet.I really did not expect Lindsay to leave. As much as I want Sophia Bush to remain on the show, I really do not think a division of Chicago PD and then Lindsay at her FBI gig will be a good flow.I do not recall Atwater going to see Burgess, was that scene cut?
Really USA? Why could they not have given Covert the same consideration it gave White Collar and had a shortened final season. I hope the new shows they have will do badly.
Didn't Finch say out loud when he was playing chess with the machine that it can calculate millions of scenarios in seconds happen before the first simulation? I new Harold would not be dead. However my question now is Shaw really dead? It sure seems like she is.I too enjoyed the moments of humor: Harold and the painting, all the different names Fusco has for Root, when they needed to speed up the simulation so they just said things like "insert witty comment here" .I also news something was off during the first simulation when Root told Reese the machine would tell him what to do, the machine has only been talking to Root.
Such a great episode.I am glad that they dropped the charges against Spencer. One question: Did we know that Ezra took over the coffee house? I do not recall being then saying that.So now I totally think that Mike is A, it sure seems like Ezra does too by the questions he was asking Mike. Yes Mike did cry after he and Aria talked, but it all could be an act. It would explain his characters absence in a lot of the episodes. He is also not a big or tall guy so he could put on a wig and pretend to be Alison.I agree that the use of Grunwald was perfect. I also agree that the girls are too quick to believe they are safe. I did not want Paige to leave.A is totally messing up Aria's chances with getting into college.

I knew that Mills and Brett would be fine. The show would kill off another main character in the same season.I knew Lulo was involved as soon as they were kidnapped.Mills has some skills.I am glad that little Terrence is fine.Boden was not kept in the dark, he made Herrmann tell him what was going on.So Dawson hoped that by packing her bags and leaving that Casey would call her bluff and ask her to stay. Having time apart may be just what they need to work things out, but the explanation that she gave Otis that she basically did that and hoped that if Casey loved her he would ask her to stay was kind of an immature. If she did not want to leave then she should not have. You can tell Casey did not want to leave and yes he may not have put up a fight but to me it seems like he felt she wanted to leave. The way the episode ended it sure looks like a the rest of the season will be going after the person that set the fire that killed Shay.I liked seeing Jay on this episode, however it was a little odd seeing him work with a different team as I thought that once you are on Voight's task force you just work for him. :)
You're welcome. I totally agree about Danny and Steve.Yes the voice over was good to add spice but would be overkill if it was done all the time.
Pretty good Winter Premiere. My stomach sank too when Henry got all the details wrong. I thought there was no way that he would be a credible witness on the stand.I too had mixed feelings about Frank asking the son to wear a wire and get his father to admit he killed the police officer. However I suppose Frank saw no other way. I do think that it was the right choice to tell the father that he ordered his son to wear the wire, that way the father will not hate his son. The hot dog vendor getting hit by the truck and then having the umbrella fall on him was brutal. After interviewing a witness Eddie was convinced that there was another driver and I knew that even though Jamie protested when she told him they needed to look into it further, that he would trust her and get to the bottom of what happened and I am glad he did, even though the son denied it we all knew he was the driver. I am glad that the mom forced her husband and son to come forward.Baez and Danny talking about adult movies was funny. Two things that were funny: Danny yelling "Shots Fired, Shots Fired" out loud in the car with Baez, for one Baez could hear the shots I am sure and for two he was not on the radio calling for back up.Second, are we really to believe that Bridget Moynahan who is 43 in real life is supposed to be 36/37 on the show? She claims she was not born in 1977. That was silly to me.
Great episode.Great review Kathleen, I always write my thoughts before I read the reviews and we had some similar points. LOLIt had an old school vibe for sure with the voice overs. I would not want that each episode but it fit well this week.I also like that we got back to seeing lots of Danny and Steve together. I know that Kono, Chin and Grover are part of the team too and I like seeing them in the field but for me Steve and Danny are the main two and I like seeing them get more screen time.Jerry living with Chin is great. I loved the very end when Harry said in the voiceover how great Steve is.I still do not want to see Steve and Ellie as a couple, I like them as friends and if he has her for a sparring partner is great.I love seeing the sweet side of Danny, usually we just see it when he is with Grace, but he knew something was wrong with Mindy and he asked her what was wrong and listened and gave her some good advice.
