Pretty good Winter Premiere.
My stomach sank too when Henry got all the details wrong. I thought there was no way that he would be a credible witness on the stand.
I too had mixed feelings about Frank asking the son to wear a wire and get his father to admit he killed the police officer. However I suppose Frank saw no other way. I do think that it was the right choice to tell the father that he ordered his son to wear the wire, that way the father will not hate his son.
The hot dog vendor getting hit by the truck and then having the umbrella fall on him was brutal.
After interviewing a witness Eddie was convinced that there was another driver and I knew that even though Jamie protested when she told him they needed to look into it further, that he would trust her and get to the bottom of what happened and I am glad he did, even though the son denied it we all knew he was the driver. I am glad that the mom forced her husband and son to come forward.
Baez and Danny talking about adult movies was funny.
Two things that were funny: Danny yelling "Shots Fired, Shots Fired" out loud in the car with Baez, for one Baez could hear the shots I am sure and for two he was not on the radio calling for back up.
Second, are we really to believe that Bridget Moynahan who is 43 in real life is supposed to be 36/37 on the show? She claims she was not born in 1977. That was silly to me.

Great episode.
Great review Kathleen, I always write my thoughts before I read the reviews and we had some similar points. LOL
It had an old school vibe for sure with the voice overs. I would not want that each episode but it fit well this week.
I also like that we got back to seeing lots of Danny and Steve together. I know that Kono, Chin and Grover are part of the team too and I like seeing them in the field but for me Steve and Danny are the main two and I like seeing them get more screen time.
Jerry living with Chin is great.
I loved the very end when Harry said in the voiceover how great Steve is.
I still do not want to see Steve and Ellie as a couple, I like them as friends and if he has her for a sparring partner is great.
I love seeing the sweet side of Danny, usually we just see it when he is with Grace, but he knew something was wrong with Mindy and he asked her what was wrong and listened and gave her some good advice.

What was your favorite quote or scene?
Janice giving Perry a taste of his own medicine in the parking garage. What did you think of the case this week?
It was okay, not one of my favorites but I do love how the show makes each week different. Talk about Perry's next move.
I too think his dad will post his bail and then he will go after Beth and Janice. What did you think of the stalker reveal?
As soon as I saw Jason Wiles' name I knew he would be the Stalker. Could Amanda and Jack get together?
I have a feeling that yes eventually they will get together, however I would prefer him with Janice.

When Root was talking to the child it sure sounded like Root's days were numbered. I think she will be the one to die. Unless Sarah Shahi is pregnant, she wore a coat the whole time and I was wondering if she was hiding a pregnancy.

Not enough Jamie this week.
I knew Olivia was the one that stole the gun and I was not at all surprised by how she handled it.
I was also not surprised by Danny's reaction when he found out that Linda had been mugged.

This was a pretty good episode.
Steve was not in it that much but it gave Danny a chance to for screen time.
The Christmas tree storyline was pretty funny. Of course they would get caught and it was funny that Steve did not think they would be.
The ending was nice but I would like to have seen Jerry, Adam, Leilani, Sabrina (Max's girlfriend) and Danny's girlfriend.
I am happy that Christmas trees are not that expensive in my city!
BTW it was Danny's car not Steve's.

Holy Moly, so much happened!
We all knew for while that Micah was not Gunnar's son. I did feel bad for Gunnar, he did love that boy. I am glad that he knew he could go to Scarlett and she would be there for him. Will this be the push that he needs to finally tell Avery and Scarlett that he wants to sign a contract for SAG?
I knew that Avery was going to tell Juliette he wanted to be with her! I was pleasantly surprised though when he asked her to marry him.
Sadie's ex is a dbag, I hope she eventually sends him to jail.
I am glad that Teddy realized he wants more than a 'relationship' with an escort. I am not a fan of his but that showed a small amount of growth.
I can not stand Jeff, even though he did seem to really care about Layla he did give her drugs and if she dies which I think she will he will be to blame and I hope that Teddy does not cover for him. I also can not believe that was his first call and not 911 like Will told him too!
While I am sad that Deacon has liver disease and possible cancer I am glad he did not drink! I hope that he will be okay. I do not want him to die.
I was surprised that Rayna broke up with Luke. I am happy but I am surprised, she sure changed her mind quickly.
Either Luke is a great actor or he really did love her.

I knew it was only a matter of time before they would have the first suspect be the actual stalker! As soon as I saw Jason Wiles name in the credits I knew he would be the stalker and I stuck with that even when he was the first to be interviewed!
I love at the end when Jack got to spend time with his son. The actor that plays Ethan so darn cute!
I love Janice! Everything she did regarding Perry was perfect.
Can not wait for the Roundtable!

I do not know a lot about the comic books but I hope that the Lazarus Pits will somehow cure him and he will come back alive. Not as a ghost or a robot type with no human emotions!

I thought the same thing too, it will take longer as he has tons of Traveller magic but it will disappear eventually.
