How can Will be out of ideas? There are soooooo many musical genres and artists Glee has barely touched. How about some Frank Sinatra? Some more country? Maybe an all musicals episode? Classical musicals like some Rodgers and Hammerstein? 60's music? The Beatles? Elvis? British imports? Disney?? Movie themes? I could go on and on.
I love Glee and have stood by it through all the silly tribute episodes and message of the week. I still don't understand why they did a second Britney episode when there are soooo many more talented artists they could honor like The Beatles or Frank Sinatra. But my biggest problem with this episode is the new people are exactly like the old people. By the end of the episode it was very clear to me that Kitty is the new Quinn/Santana, Jake is Puck/Finn, Unique is a male Mercedes, and as soon as Marley began singing at the end of the episode she clinched her spot as the new Rachel. And once again Tina, Artie, and Sam are in the background.
Colin Ferguson as Fargo was the best part of the night! I was dying laughing. I agree, I'm over the Jack and Jo thing, but I'm glad Holly may still be alive! Love Felicia Day!
A lot of dramas do "fun" shows. Supernatural, Castle, CSI. I don't think every episode has to be overflowing with drama, it's unrealistic and can lead to boredom of the same thing over and over. What's the difference between this episode of Bones and last week's zombie episode of Castle?
Oh Glee. I was in a choir with 100 other people who loved to sing in high school but not everyone had that dream of being a star. Most of us just wanted to sing. Same with the theater kids. It's not realistic that they all want to be huge stars, like you said. I knew Mercedes' dad was a dentist. What I don't know is what the point of suddenly throwing Vocal Adrenaline back into the show was. Everything has been about Dalton since they brought Darren onto the show.
I miss the old Aidan :( I like this episode mostly because it brought the three roommates back together again, even if it was for a brief, uncomfortable dinner. They really haven't acted like roommates this season; they have all been doing their own thing. I found Sally's mother going straight for her ex-lover strange, but I guess it makes sense. I like Henry much more than Suren and was glad to see him as Aidan's main focus this episode instead of Suren. I don't think she's a very good actress.
I LOVED Mark Pellegrino ghost stalking Aidan. It is very reminiscent of his Lucifer on Supernatural and I love it. He is great at those types of characters.
I loved this episode. It felt like the old 5-0! Steve and Danny joking and spending time together, Kono and Chin as more than just background characters. I don't think this story was completely cliched, but it is a cop show after all. The stories on Law and Order, CSI, etc. are the same way.
I truly love this show and hope they give it a second chance. GCB which is replacing it, although I love Kristen Chenoweth, seems like a Southern Desperate Housewives.
I miss Jack already :( I loved Evan's comment that HankMed was started by two brothers and a Divya. Next week will be an emotional episode. Hank didn't must lose a patient, he lost a friend.
Look. If Glee focuses on one major story people complain. If they put a little bit of everyone people complain. I gave up on its consistency a long time ago and enjoy it for what it is. Entertainment.
Oh Kate. I miss her and prefer her to Ziva. I don't dislike Ziva but I would rather have Kate back. I definitely think Tony and Kate would have gotten together and I really wish Sasha Alexander would have come back instead of using footage from when she and Tony got the plague.
This episode...yuck. I hated the music. I'm sorry but I took 5 years of French and sang songs in Latin in chorus. I know one person who speaks fluent Spanish and I live on the East coast. I find it hard to believe there would be such an issue in Ohio. Also Santana, Latinos aren't the only Spanish speakers. Will, I'm sorry but there is no way he could be that horrible of a teacher after teaching the subject for several years. And they have shown in previous episodes they have shown he can speak Spanish. The entire episode, as usual when it has a theme or guest, was tailored to fit what Ricky Martin brought to the show. I enjoyed him but that was about it. I hated the music which is sad because I love Elvis and "Hero".
I finally watched the finale and personally I still love this show. No mention of Washington's death? We have seent he girl, Ripley, who stoped the bomb before. And what's wrong with klicks? How is it any different from the use of the words shiny or gorram in Firefly?
Completely disagree. My roommate and I loved this episode, from the songs to the costumes. Our only complaints were that Puck didn't say anything and Quinn was MIA for most of the episode. Finn's proposal was...eh...but I expected it.
This episode was good as to the murder. However I miss the Danny/McGarrett dynamic abd their personal lives. Grace was in nearly every episode last season and has barely appeared this season. And I am sooooo tired of Joe and Lori. And where's the new governor? He seemed like he was going to be watching them like a hawk but is just as MIA as Grace.
Everytime I see Fryer I think of Milo, his character from Heart and Souls. That's it.
No mention of Danny's Steve moment?? The moment he put the grenade in the guy's hand I said that's a Steve move. Then Chin told him he had been hanging out with Steve too much :) the rest of the episode...eh. The story was good and there was less Lori and more Kono.
Loved it! But I definitely missed Zane. It was weird to have Allison and Jack together but not have Zane at all. He has been a constant presence for a long time. Oh but I loved Jo's dress at the end! She always looks so pretty with her hair down, I wish they would portray her like that more often.
