I don't think Jolex said anything before about that...maybe an offhand comment about in-laws but nothing definite. It's so great to see him happy, even though I didn't like him at all in the first seasons.
He did tell her and what kind of life they would have, but it was right before she died so they couldn't do anything.
Kay, the Sloan reference was where Jackson repeated what Sloan said right before he died-if you love someone, tell them, and tell them loud and often. Don't leave your feelings unexpressed. That's not a quote, of course, but that's the gist of it.
I miss Sloan, he was one of my favorites!
Me too, I think Matthew's a sweetie. There might not be all the drama there was with Jackson, but I love him. Hey April...if you don't want Matthew, can I have him? :)
Ahhh, thanks. I wasn't sure if Jackson's reaction to Matthew was more professional or personal. The dynamic between the two men reminds me a lot of how a couple of potential suitors I had in college acted toward each other-somewhat jealous but not wanting to admit it. Jackson might have been bothered by the 'traching", but I wondered if his reaction would have been as strong had it been a different paramedic.

What I find interesting is that it was actually Alex that took Arizona's leg, not Callie. Callie was in charge and it was her decision to do it, but she didn't perform the actual surgery. I think it would be interesting to see what would happen if Arizona somehow found out about this.
I actually really liked this episode. It was great to see the flashbacks explaining all the things being said in the courtroom in an attempt to discredit Callie.
On another point, I also have an artificial hip as a result of an awful car wreck eight years ago. There was a new implant and method (I don't remember the name of it) I heard about that was supposed to make the recovery easier, but when I asked my doctor about it he said he did not and would not use that method because the implant was too new for him to trust and that all it was was a "shortcut" that he didn't think was any good. The implant has since been recalled. I'm no athlete, but that's what the episode reminded me of. A lot of shows make adaptations of real situations, so perhaps this is what they were doing here.

I have a mad crush on Matthew. Don't tell April. :)
Dumb question...wasn't Matthew's actions ("traching" the guy) something you'd expect a paramedic to do? I think Jackson's reaction probably had nothing to do with what Matthew did and everything to do with April.
As for the review...I'm the "ugly duckling" too. I had the *mother* of all awkward stages, but my husband tells me I turned out well. I have no idea, but I can totally relate to April!
I *loved* Matthew's proposal!!! A lot of girls dream about something like that.
And I was sooooo mad at Arizona, disappointed too. When Callie was saying, 'Where is Arizona?" I wanted to yell, 'she's cheating on you in the on-call room!" Some people wouldn't consider it cheating, but that's them. I suspect Callie won't be too happy when she finds out. And she will...
