The only thing that is keeping me positive is that I went to twitter and saw after the spoiler had been released tons of people were posting some not so nice things about Josh and even some well... threats. Then he posted the "Trust. ChuckandBlair." And he's left it up for four hours. So if worst comes to worst we may just have to scare him into the making the show better lol.
(I have read that and loved that btw) That would be amazing, but that would recquire GG writers being able to handle turning the characters to a more mature setting. I personally think that they would end up screwing it all up and turning it into another OTH fiasco. Point is, if all of this is true (i'm still hoping it isn't) the writers of GG need to be fired and J&S need to be tested for drugs...
Writing GG would be my dream lol. But in my opinion take any writer on fanfiction and replace the real writers with the fanfic writer(s) and the show wouldn't be declining in ratings right now. It's sad to say, but I'm more excited for an update on some of my fave fanfic GG stories I read then I am for when GG the show returns.

I'm guessing that Josh saw all of this going on and was like "oh shit." He probably didn't mean whatever spoiler E got (who now that I think about it likes to make things over dramatic and I'm talking about the ireparable part) to be taken so seriously and so far. I think he knows that killing C/B would kill the show. I mean they probably won't be together when season 3 ends and it may look bad, but then when season 4 begins it will be similar to how they were in season 2, but then now that they know they love each other the new issue will be that when they get together they will trust each other. Because even Chuck admitted after their whole fight that they still don't have trust with each other. I'm hoping this is Josh's plan to have something almost break them, but then show us that eventually it will make them stronger.

MrsBass2be do you remember the spoiler about Chuck getting charged with sexual harrassment? I thought when I heard that, that it had to be unture and it might hurt C/B, but in the end the truth would come out. But now... it seems like him sexually harrassing another girl while being with B and it being true... that would probably make her hate him, especially if it is someone she knows. Whatever it is that he does.
I hope Josh knows he just killed the show with it.
Let's review Josh's skills at making a tv show die...
#1 Take Serena/Dan fans (a large majority) and make them hate the show by taking the couple and trying to foce us to see them as brother and sister.
#2 Rumor has it Jenny will come between Serena and Nate... make those fans hate the show.
#3 Kill C/B and in turn take their fans fans who are basically 95% of the viewers and make them hate the show.
Unless they release info that C/B are in fact still ftw. I'm done with the show, there is absoultely nothing about it I care to watch anymore. I'm not even going to watch the rest of season 2 if this is where it's headed. Congrats Josh you say you're going to make a show better and end up solving it with the last major thing to get GG of the air completely.
I think one of the main reasons she's not being taken seriously isn't because she is sixteen, but what she is wanting to pursue.
Obviously someone who wants to start a music career needs to want it bad and start really young so I'm not bashing her for that if it's what she wants to do.
However, people won't take her seriously just like several others in her position. How many tv or even movie actors/actresses try to have a singing career get maybe one hit and then are done. A lot! Just look at all the Disney Channel stars and such who are her age.
That is why she's not going to be taken seriously among a few other things... But if she is serious and this is who she really is then eventually people will either say they don't like her or accept her, but admit yes it's who she is and it's what she wants to do.
One big question for me though is where are her parents? Yes, she is sixteen and these days girls like to dress slutty (i'm in high school and also sixteen so I see it all around me) but nothing like her. Her parents should step it up and say no to some of her outfits.
Plus you see her hanging out with people like Lindsey Lohan, who I don't have anything against, but how many people take Lindsey serious anymore? She's become a joke in the media and Taylor should be careful. Sadly people do JUDGE you by who you hang out with.
I also have to admit, I'm not sure, but it does seem strange that she starts this "rebel type phase" when Jenny does. At least with the wardrobe since there have been some pictures of her at parties drinking before gg and such.

Plus he told Nate that you should love Blair for exactly what she is and not want her to be anything else. But anyways them bringing Bart back would be interesting... My guess is it would be an ep like if you've ever seen the One Tree Hill episodes where Keith comes back to show Lucas how life could have been if he wasn't around and such... Basically a "It's A Wonderful Life" type plot. That is if he came back...
I'm such a spoiler whore and I'm pretty sure Bree is done for good. Carter, it hasn't been announced officially, but you can guarentee he'll be back. Same with Georgina, she'll probably be back, but Michelle has her own show now so I'm not sure when. I know Uncle Jack is coming are like episodes 16/17... And no I'm not thinking there will be a Chuck/Dan bff thing anytime soon (which is understandable in a way since Chuck is one of those people who does not share stuff like that and then to find out he thought dan was doing it all for a story) but still their little witty insult banter is kind of funny. And does anyone else want to see some of this NJBC magical friendship when they are not having a huge problem, but just being friends happen? Like I wouldn't even mind having an episode where they all think back, even if they had to bring in younger actors. Because some of those moments on the yearbook they released would be very cute. One was like Nate's horrible yellow sweater (oh Nate-kins), then C chasing S/B around Hampton house with water balloons... Like then we could see how strong their friendship was at one point so when it starts falling apart we don't feel like it's been 100 percent negative.
I know! And yes Anne Archibald was a bit younger than the other parents, at least it looked that way. But then again if you go back and watch season one in the first ep Eleanor is a totally different/younger actress. And my sister and I giggled again (and yes we know it's because the characters hadn't been completely figure out yet) but Chuck talks about both his mom and dad being alive. I so love the Dan/Nate friendship though and watching the episode where Chuck/Dan are in jail together before everything went bad, that had potential as well. I think it's because Dan is just a good guy deep down, probably because he had at least one good parent unlike the rest of them (although Eleanor/Lily are doing a bit better now). But really I think Nate's family just like hates him lol. Have you seen the yearbook? Even Chuck, without a mom/dad is more personal, but Nate's is just like Fondly, The Archibalds (or something like that). I was like awe Nate...

Yep, I was kind of like alright... I didn't hate it, but it was one of my least favorite probably. And you're right about the Carter thing totally. I mean even if you didn't like Serena/Carter together you can't say she didn't act more mature with him. I really like Sebastion and think instead of bringing in new characters every five seconds he should become a regular. Honestly he's not even a regular character and he's grown in maturity more than the main ones hehe. Oh and just to prove not all C/B fans are crazy obsessed, I would like a Dan/Blair friendship. I actually like Dan's character, he can be hypocritcal at times (But I think he's growing), and I feel like B and him could reach a level of respect for each other. I also, even though I used to hate Vanessa, thought the ending of the episode before this one showed they actually have a lot in common (don't get me wrong, I know they are very different) but if you think about it they both tend to lose themselves/morals to get what they want and their mom situations are very similar. Oh and also does anyone else love Nate's character a lot more this season? Like all the moments with Dan and Chace's facial expressions have me giggling. I was so over the Nate pout we had all season one and most of season two, this was a nice change lol.
Yes, that's nice. And everyone likes Gossip Girl for a different reason. I don't want you guys to think I dislike B/S. I love them, but I just wish the writers gave their characters and friendship more justice instead of the same fighting/serena getting attention/blair getting blamed for everything she does/Serena getting off easy storyline that's been going on forever now. I'd like to see them go through something else where maybe they had to pull together instead of pulling apart so much. Plus, like I've said before I enjoyed when Carter was here because I thought Serena was so less annoying and more mature. I feel like the writers made that relationship seem like a big deal, but now she's already going to be moving onto Patrick just like that.
How did Chair get brought into this? I love them, but I don't think they should be the only thing on the show either. Plus have you not noticed how different the show is from the books in everything else? Their should be more than one core line for a show like this with all these characters. And also a good show will show characters growing... Pushing someone into a cake? That's not even high school, but just bottom line immaturity.
JKay you said it! They do the same thing to Jenny/Blair's characters.. And no offense BBWaldorf, but being the main thing of a book series and show is different. Books have main plots as where tv drama's are supposed to have bunch of different ones. Look at any popular show and there is a ton of different stuff going on all the time.
