This was a weird episode. But it pointed to a new direction the show is going in after Beth's and now Tyrese's death. What gets me about this show is we are, I think, 2 years storyline wise into the zombie apocalypse and they are somehow still able to find vehicles with gas in them and get to South Carolina.
I don't necessarily see that happening. Diane Neal is great but she doesn't have that huge star power. I guess it would depend on the rest of the cast. And besides, we now have 3 NCIS shows, so what would be the need for a 4th? Yes, I know her character is Coast Guard but as she noted in this episode, she may be willing to make the jump to NCIS.
I was really hoping to hear some renewal news on this show this week as NBC did announce renewals of some other shows. I think NBC owns SyFy so it wouldn't surprise me to see it move there.
Why the problem with the baby shower? It's not uncommon to have one at work for a co-worker.
"Badassery" LOL! I love it!!!!!!!! This is just getting started. It will be interesting to see who ends up arrested for it and what happens after that.
What Cookie did is definitely going to come back to bite her........... I think Lucious is still really in love with Cookie. Why else would he leave her a rose, for their anniversary no less, after proposing to Anika? I liked Jamal's song at the end better. Right now, I'm pulling for Jamal to be the one to take over Empire. Hakeem is just a hot head punk and doesn't deserve it. Andre, with his shady underhandedness doesn't deserve it either.
No, we haven't seen the last of Gerard (isn't the man who plays him Gabriel Macht's dad?) He will be back with some other legal matter and threaten Harvey with exposure if he doesn't help. No doubt at some point, Jeff, too, will find out about Mike. There always has to be someone somewhere that knows the secret. All Louis has ever wanted was to be treated as an equal. I think he may have FINALLY realized his antics aren't working and never will.
It definitely picked up where it left off. I've never cared for Luke either and I agree that we haven't seen the last of him. I thought it pretty silly for him to have a party. I do think Deacon will tell Rayna what's going on. If he doesn't Scarlette will. I felt bad for Gunnar. What I think is going to happen here is that that gal will show back up expecting to get Micah back and he won't be there.
I agree that Rollins is still dealing with some things. I'm trying to remember if she ever got closure from what her sister did to her. It was a decent episode and I liked the sting at the end.
