"whodunit" was not what this series was about. If you don't realize that then maybe you shouldn't watch............

What the hell is it this season will ALL these shows giving us CLIFFHANGERS!?!?!?!??! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely hate that because it's too long of a wait between new episodes!!! They just can't kill Deacon off! So it could either be Beverly--or him--and she dies and he gets revived. Will Teddy break and eventually help them take down Tandy? Will he tell Rayna and ask for her help? What about Highway 65? That was a nice little swerve with Rayna and the girls not seeing the TV showing Teddy being arrested........ Avery did the right thing.....at the time being it looks as though that has no effect on Juliette. What will Rayna do when she finds Juliette has signed with Luke's label? FINALLY is right concerning Will..........that was drug out WAY too long......... While I love Scarlett and Gunnar's music--their chemistry(as far as performing) is amazing--I'm growing bored of this "will they or won't they"? Either do it or not and move on.

This is moving to Sundays at 9????????? Well it won't last another season then, it will be canceled before the end of the next season. There's no way they won't show The Good Wife--even late--so that means this show will get the ax just like every show before it that has had that dreaded time slot............CBS is only worried about the money they get put in their pocket from STUPID FOOTBALL..............and yes, football is the stupidest sport out there next to golf..............

Terrie

I agree with some of your points. Some of this really seemed rushed but that could have been an effort to not have a cliffhanger for the season like we did with the mothership: NCIS I really was expecting Councilman Hamilton to be more involved in this(even though Steven Weber is, I think, on another series). But looking at it now, I suppose they have to have an antagonist for Pride and the team next season.

Terrie

I agree..........I, too, was expecting fireworks after the performances all season from Vera and Freddie................

Terrie

Well that kinda makes sense because the court part is just now getting started but it sounds that that may not get focused on or perhaps we'll see some kind of closure in the finale.........

Terrie

In reality, yes, it should be a few months later when it picks back up but I get the feeling it won't be.............I feel it will pick up right where this left off.

Terrie

No offense, but I REALLY REALLY wish you would start adding something insightful to the conversation. Most are finally over the person who shall not be named and you come here each week to antagonize and try and start an argument.

I didn't see Gibbs getting shot coming but I should have. I totally agree with you Doug that Gibbs isn't going to die. I think it was a slap in the face to us fans for them to even make us think that. Sure, we all die. Sure, we all hate it when a character on a favorite show dies. But I just don't see Gibbs going out like that. I don't actually know that I am buying morse code being in music that a kid would pick up on. That just seems a little far fetched. However, the part about terrorists recruiting kids is scary. It does definitely look like this is going to carry over into an arc next season and this is far from over. I also agree with your assessment of Agent Teague. Everyone seems to think Gibbs is hallucinating. I don't think he is. I don't think it's far fetched for someone to think about other people they've lost that they care about when someone else they care about dies. And even to think about what they might do or say in a situation. On another note, Doug, let me just say I've really enjoyed your reviews this season and I enjoy coming here and talking about the show with you and all the others. I look forward to your next round table and season report card.........now for the long wait until September...................Have a great summer everyone.....

I read several other reviews yesterday and in the comments quite a few remarked that Julianna didn't want to be in a scene with Archie. I'm wondering what you all think. Do you think that is true(Philada I know you do)?
