    I am slightly partial to the UK version, but i can respect this version on it's own. The characters are becoming different enough that they are parallels not carbon copies. The series(season)3 finale of the UK version took that story line in a very different direction. The US version seems to be growing on it's own toward an ending that won't be the Uk version. But i like the US version separately from the UK version but one can't keep from comparing.

    compared to last weeks episode this one felt week. With all the hype for the finale i hope this episode was just the foundation. Not to say it wasn't a good episode, but last weeks for some reason felt like it had more to it.

    Really on point tonight. I read this tho before watching so the surprise factor was gone but it was a good episode :)

    i like that damon has a heart, if he had stayed shallow he'd be boring by now. i am very pleased to have this show back. and i have been waiting for tyler to find out about the other vampires. so lets just see how this all plays out :)

    i liked the episode, it wasn't over the top, but it pushed the story forward. i think the focus was how to deal with the werewolves, and all they bring. The Tylor scenes were just wonderful in a way, the acting was well done. it could have been really over the top in a bad way and it wasn't :) and i am glad it was rose who got bit so it wasn't a central character and we can learn what happens to a vampire bit. so yeah, the show wasn't what the promo made it out to be, but that happens with advertising.
