I really despise Alexandria. I'm all for competition but there's a fine line between competing and just being down right disrespectful. I'm rooting for Brittani, Hannah, and Molly this season.
So glad PP's coming back next week. I've been waiting for so long and this episode looks like it has a lot to it. Hope there's still a lot of Char & Coop in it though!
A promo for this episode has already been released. Seems like Sam is thinking it's more than it is while Naomi's convinced it's just nostalgia. Guess we'll just have to see what happens! Especially after Addison questions them.
From the given choices, I think the pregnancy is the most possible. Simply because getting engaged would be too similar to the speculated nuptials of Ivy and I just think the whole Ryan-Jen-Jack story is way too far fetched.
I think the Calzona wedding makes a lot more sense than the post-it wedding. Mer/Der's thing is just such a thing from the past that it doesn't make sense to bring it up now when what their story's really about is the baby. As for the Calzona wedding, I wouldn't mind but I don't want that to be something that's rushed.
I'm actually pleased with this season of Private Practice. I love everything that's happened between Charlotte and Cooper. And on the contrary, I think that the pacing of what they've done with her rape storyline has been good. It's far from over as well because I know that they plan to keep this a part of Charlotte as long as she remains to be a character on the show.
I think we should also wait and see what they do with Addison and her mother's death because that story's only started as well. Shonda herself has said (through Twitter) that we're going to be seeing how Addison deals with Bizzy's suicide. Moreover, the baby storyline between her and Sam is also going to surface again. I think we just need to be patient and see what more they do with Addison.
If anything is dragging this season down for me, it's any story involving Violet (and sometimes Pete). I just don't see anything interesting really happening with this character and her relationship with Pete is just not believable.
I think that at the end, it'll be Chuck and Blair! Dan could possibly be a stepping stone towards that because deep down Blair knows where her heart is. One of the reasons that she's trying so hard to succeed right away, like her 2-year plan in W, is because she's hoping to find herself and who she is before being with Chuck again. She's dealing with herself before getting into a relationship and I think that's what's important. For me, although her and Dan have had undeniable chemistry on screen, they should remain to be friends. I want to see Blair really work towards being enough for herself that she'll be ready to be with Chuck. I'm not a fan of the idea that just because you're not with one guy, you should be with another. If Dan and Blair get together, then there's no room for Blair's individual development meaning her and Chuck never had to press pause on their relationship.
I'm so glad to hear she'll be back! I love Georgina's character because she's really someone who threatens all the characters. Honestly, I wish she could be a regular.
Well the Adrianna and Silver bitch fight seems to be fully on by the time the show comes back. I think it'll be fun to watch. I'm also so excited for Max and Naomi!
I don't really care much for this story because I see it as another forced storyline to give the extra characters a story. Personally, I'd rather they just take both these characters out and focus on those that really matter.
Naomi & Max- Absolutely loved it. I really like how out of character Naomi's being and how she's showing hints of vulnerability towards this guy. And I actually find Max to be very attractive so it's nice to watch.
Liam, Annie, & Emily - I'm glad this story's over because I thought it was pointless from the beginning. The way they nailed her was pretty good but the moment Liam accepted her invitation, I was certain that they were doing that. Now, I just want to see Liam and Annie working on their relationship and really developing as a couple.
Ivy & Raj - I like how this episode showed another side to Ivy but I don't really like how she's isolated from the other characters. Raj's confession on his condition was pretty heartbreaking despite being expected. Now I can see why Ivy'll most likely marry the guy.
Silver & Adrianna - I thought what Adrianna did was actually expected of her. So far, what she's done is bitchy but relatively understandable. The moment she touches the bipolar meds though, that'll be a whole different story.
PS I don't like how Teddy wasn't in this episode again. I think his story's the strongest and I don't like how they just take him out on random episodes when they can do so much to develop him.
I loved this episode! I think the collaboration between Barney's feelings and the heart monitor added to how amusing the episode was a whole. And I just loved everything that came from Barney. There's just so much to this character that you never know what's coming.
I'm actually excited for this! I think they have a very solid track list which makes it more exciting. Not passing any judgment on the episode yet cause it seems like they can actually really pull this off.
I think the father is that guy that Savannah dated before going to Lancer. Noah, is it? That's the only reason I can come up with on why she'd be so upset about it.
I'm disappointed to see Avery and Lexie together because I'm all for Mark and Lexie. Still, I know that this is all a part of the long and agonizing road that Shonda talked about regarding Mark and Lexie's relationship. I know Avery and her look good together but there's just too much good between her and Mark. I think the only good thing about them getting together is that when she's finally with Mark, she'll know how right it is to be with him.
First of all, I missed Addison in this episode. I didn't even think it would be possible to have an episode without her since she's the leading character of the entire show. On that note, I agree on an aforementioned comment questioning why this reviewer is the one writing the weekly reviews when she despises Addison so much. Admittedly her reviews have gotten better since the first one but I'm still not impressed with them and I don't appreciate how she hates on the leading character so much.
On to the episode itself, first with the Naomi and Sam story: I disagree with how they ended it in a kiss. I understand how these two characters will always have history but to kiss one another is just very hypocritical of Naomi and wrong of Sam. Naomi spent an entire episode criticizing Addison for her past relationships but here she is being such a hypocrite about the whole situation. I also get how Sam felt lonely but it's still no excuse. I also don't like how it's similar to the Cooper-Amelia kiss because both kisses were done when their partners were in a bad place (Charlotte post-rape; Addison post-mother's suicide). Knowing that Naomi will be leaving, etc -- What was the point of doing that?
On Charlotte and Cooper, I like how they played out the entire story for them this week. I thought that the build up towards Cooper's confession was good and the reaction of Charlotte was also ideal. The confrontation between Charlotte and Amelia was also a very good moment between the two because I think it developed their personal friendship with one another and Amelia's explanation gave us a clearer and more in depth understanding of what took place. Over-all, I really loved what they went through this week because it portrayed how much these two really love each other. Really, really cannot wait for their wedding. :)
The Sheldon case was pretty good although I would've liked it if she actually had multiple personality disorder. And as for the whole Violet story, I didn't care much for it. I know it was probably the main focus of the episode but her stories just don't impress me anymore and I'm just not sold on her relationship with Pete.
Seems like this episode revolves a lot around the effects of Violet's book. I think that scene between her and Pete clear up why suddenly the lives of the other characters are a part of her book and I have to agree with what Pete said that they aren't necessarily her stories to tell. I'm kind of disappointed that there are no sneak previews on Charlotte and Cooper because that's personally the story I'm looking forward to the most. And is Addison really not going to be in this episode?
