  1. Scandal Review: Power Corrupts

I liked this episode a lot,the fast pace is really refreshing! I know that a lot of people ware surprised that Verna was the killer, but I still think it's too easy.. Perhaps I'm reading too much into things, but I still think Mellie was at the very least Verna's accomplice. Verna did say that Fitz wasn't stupid, then we saw Fitz thinking Mellie killed her. I'm sorry, but Mellie's nerves before getting off the car--that's not pure coincidence. And this storyline can be what Shonda and co needs to get Fitz back in Liv's arms!
  2. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Second Opinion"

    1. Arizonawalking in the hospital, and Meredith recalling old events in the house to Alex.
    2. About time! I loved her interaction with the interns, brings back old Cristina, but also it seems that this time, it's not to be mean, but to teach.
    3. Too many characters--with the interns and a couple patients, a lot happened so yeah, not a lot of screen time from the characters whom I actually find amusing.
    4. Who cares? This storyline is so annoying and got way too much screen time. I can't even remember the last time I saw April practicing medicine.
    5. Bad for the relationships, which means good for drama!
  3. Homeland Review: Come 'n Get Me, Chopper

I agree with your lukewarm reception of this episode, Dan! What disappoints me is how this season seems to be merely a repetition of the last. (question of loyalty, Carrie-Brody affair, Carrie-damage, meanwhile the terrorists remain) S01 was exciting because of the mystery surrounding Brody, but now it seems that the series will only continue switching Brody's loyalty. After a while, it seems boring. And after SNL, the overacting and underacting in parts are a lot more obvious.
  4. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Beautiful Doom"

    1. When Thomas dropped on the floor and Cristina had to continue the surgery. Man, give this girl a break! I also loved the locker scene where she realized she's better off at a place with people she cares about--it just shows her vulnerable side, which is always great to see!
    2. I love these two so it didn't bother me at all, but one per season is probably more than enough.
    3. Derek and Owen - the other halves of the twisted sisters
    4. definitely! great for crowen but bad for the interns!
    5. To the first great mentor of Dr. Yang:if Cristina becomes half the dedicated, passionate, and courageous doctor you were, she will be one hell of a surgeon.
  5. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "I Saw Her Standing There"

I agree about Bailey Sa'ad702, I am so disappointed about what they're doing with her character. First she's gone so soft, and now it seems like she's not valued as much as even the younger attendings. Even April has a more interesting storyline than her. I say bring old Bailey back! I always imagined she'll be Chief one day, but if she keeps this up, Meredith might beat her to it.
  6. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "I Saw Her Standing There"

    1. Cristina/Dr Thomas scenes! I love it when we get to see how much heart Cristina has despite her reputation of being selfish and cold.
    2. Saw it coming. I said last week that Cristina will grow in this new hospital before going back to SG, and I think this will make forgive Owen more easily.
    3. I don't care for both couples, but I love that Webber is really showing that he is the wise man in town. I love those scenes when he put Jackson in his place!
    4. Alex and Callie. This one's obvious. Or maybe Derek, as he's the teacher nowadays and he's been in similar situations.
    5. Feel bad for him. I just hope the move will help him get better and not sink deeper. I still believe he'll get back together with Cristina at some point.
  7. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Love the One You're With"

    1. Calzona shower scene. Great performance from both, but I give it to Sara R. Callie's pain just seemed to explode in that shower, and it was amazing to watch.
    2. Mer and Jackson. We've gotta admit Webber's got game, and I agree that these two have so much in common, but this hasn't been highlighted for the longest time.
3.I thought at first that Cristina will be so unhappy at her new hospital she'd come running back to SG, but now I realize that it's therapy! This new hospital will make her better and improved Cristina will come back to Seattle and Owen's waiting arms.
    4. Tough choice, but the honorable route is always a safe bet.
    5. Never cared for these two much.
  8. Gossip Girl Finale Spoilers: Real or Fake Wedding(s)?

I'm still hoping the Derena wedding is a foiler, but for practical reasons, they're most probably not. But they could still be dream sequences or a page from dan's new book. Those would make sense that it being real. People keep associating Eric and Jenny's return to Derena, but more sensibly they'll come back for Rufus and Lily. Chair is more expected, so that one's probably real.
  9. Gossip Girl Spoiler Pictures: Another Finale Bombshell?!

This does not make any sense. last season when Serena told Dan, "I love you, always have, always will", I almost gagged. Where the heck did that come from??? If this is not a foiler... it's gonna take a hell of a great writer to convince viewers how Dan can marry Serena after he has loved Blair (it seems to me) deeper and more maturely. Derena was so highschool. Dan's better off ending solo.
  10. The Walking Dead Season Premiere Review: What Did You Think!?

Gory greatness! Many series do time jumps these days, but TWD did it so well. It is apparent how the characters have grown. Carl is not a kid anymore, there is more fight than fear or confusion in everyone’s eyes, roles have been established and the five-person fighting circle was awesome to watch! The leg-cutting and the “holy shit” reveal in the end were heart-stopping. Even the thought of a baby-walker is intriguing. This was a great premiere that is setting the tone for what hopefully will be a much better season than the last.
  11. Dexter Review: Necessary Evil

Dexter is on fire this season! I love that Dexter does not realize that Deb is not his only problem (mob, Laguerta)--it's slowly unfolding into a great season finish. I kind of wanted Louis to live though just to add a bit more pressure. I think hannah will be Dexter's new love interest until he finds out that she's a killer too. It's also interesting to see whether Deb will be frustrated enough by the system that she'll do as Harry did and accept and enable Dexter's urges. All in all, a lot of great things to look forward to!
  12. Homeland Review: Ms. Right

I think the show is fast paced from ep to ep, because the turn of events are usually jaw-dropping. S2 started with Carrie on the outside, then her help was commissioned, and now it's revealed she was right all along. It seems that from next week she'll be back working for the CIA--it's another fast devt. However, Ep3 itself is weaker than S1 eps. It had implausible story lines, weak/too long, perhaps unnecessary scenes. Besides Saul successfully bringing back the video, Brody snapping the guy's neck off, and Carrie seeing the video, the other scenes were a bit blah.
  13. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Remember the Time"

To SA.. I hear you... more than that I think now it has become too gimmicky. GA's best times didn't include fancy musicals and time jumps--just great story telling.
  14. Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Remember the Time"

    1. Fave scene - toss up between Owen calming Cristina down the first time he saw her; and the last scenes leading to "You're my person".
    2. Calzona! Obviously it's a long road for Arizona and her leg, but I'm ecstatic that they're giving Sara Ramirez good material to show her acting chops.
    3. Not really plot holes but gaps - how they were rescued, Lexie's funeral and how everyone seems to have already moved on from her death, or why Mark Sloan seemed unaffected by it. Also in general I didn't like the multiple time jumps. It wasn't that they were confusing--I just thought they were unecessary.
    4. Definitely. I think she'll be fired. She doesn't belong in that other place.
    5. Absolutely agree! Awkward pauses when she's mentioned during conversations is not enough. Her death affects so many people. She should have had a "tribute" epi like Mark. And I thought the animals eating her was a bit distasteful.
  15. Gossip Girl Producers Ask: Who IS Gossip Girl?

My money was on either Dorota or Dan, so I decided to rewatch the series to get some clues. On the very first episode, on the very first time GG said "that's a secret I'll never tell..." guess who was in front of a computer: Dan!!!
  16. Adam Lambert: Under Consideration as American Idol Judge

I think Adam is not a bad choice (will certainly draw in viewers whether they watch to love or hate him). I can't say he is the best choice, but he is certainly a better choice than keeping Randy! Randy is in principle more experienced because of his age, but if you go through the videos of the past two seasons, he really hasn't added much to the show. He repeats/agrees to what other judges are saying. I'm totally sold on him being ousted for next season.
  17. Shonda Rhimes Speaks on Shocking Grey's Anatomy Death

I think a lot of people are exagerrating when they say the finale wasn't good just because Lexie died. It probably was not the best option for her exit... but the acting was so good, and that's enough to claim that the finale is good enough.

I am surprised Teddy's leaving as I was scared er and Owen will be an item.. Now we know that Owen will fight for Cristina and that, along with Teddy's leaving, will make her stay in Seattle. So glad we'd be able to see badass Cristina as an attending!
  18. Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Sneak Peek: The First Six Minutes!

It just occurred to me when I watched this that we are only seeing the first 7 minutes, and as we've seen in many seasons already.. a LOT of things can still happen. I think the season won't end in the woods and they get rescued within a few minutes after this preview. A lot of things can still happen in the hospital, giving Shonda a lot of room for to build up why the main characters are staying. For instance, Cristina and Owen's reunion after the crash will I think be enough to force themselves to work things out...
  19. Private Practice Review: Unicorn Baby

Great review for a great season finale! The only thing I can say is: how can you only smile when, as Mason called Charlotte "Momma", she immediately teared up... smiles aren't enough... I could not control my tears! Charlotte has been my favorite character from the beginning, and I am so happy to see how far she has come.

And Violet is such an irrelevant character for me!!! Why does one Grey's character need to die and Violet gets to stay? My Violet annoyance scale is definitely through the roofs.
  20. Gossip Girl Season Finale Review: The More Things Change ...

I've called it from the beginning of the season and it looks like that's where the characters are headed for the series finale. End game will be Chuck and Blair, Nate and Serena and Dan alone as a great writer (a la Dawson Leery). The last 11 episodes will be used to keep everyone excited about Blair wooing Chuck. Nate being in the Spectator will be the first to know about Serena and will come to her rescue and with Lola gone he'll fall for S again. Dan will write another great novel, and in the finale the entire cast will all show up in his book party.
  21. Grey's Anatomy Promos: Six Went Down. One Will Die.

*better scenes to act in next season.

But back to the dying doctor, with Callie doing the VO... now all roads lead to the toss up between Arizona, Mark, possibly Lexie. Unless Shonda does a surprising twist, which is what she'll probably do.
  22. Grey's Anatomy Promos: Six Went Down. One Will Die.

I'm sure it will be another heartstopping season ender! Anyone could die, and I'm hoping the contract renewals are REAL, because I wouldn't be able to stand any of the originals leaving. A lot of the reasons why certain characters can die are already stated here, but with Callie doing the VO in the teaser, I'm leaning more towards Arizona. (I remember seeing an interview that Chyler really loves the show, so I doubt she'll leave before her contract expires).

No matter who dies, one thing that upsets me about the teaser is the Owen and Teddy scene! If these two get back together I swear I'll barf. I just feel that you can't make Teddy all gaga over Henry only to realize she still loves Owen. I don't approve of what Owen did to his marriage but i'd like to see him and Cristina try to work things out. If Teddy dies (though it's highly unlikely as I don't think she's a beloved as many others), it would be the best case scenario for me. And it would also give Sandra Oh better scenes to act in.
  23. Grey's Anatomy Spoiler: Major Death to Come

Hey everyone, just for kicks, what storyline would you like your fave characters to have next season if they won't be the one dead? Would be nice to hear your ideas!
  24. Grey's Anatomy Spoiler: Major Death to Come

Doe-Rae-Me, don't you think it is so unnecessary to kill cristina though? I mean, from last episode she's been very vocal about her eagerness to leave. If Sandra Oh will leave the show, I think Cristina can just be easily hired somewhere as an Attending. I think she'll stay in Seattle as her move to reconcile with Owen. I hope Shonda means what she says about her believing that Cristina and Owen are meant to be together.
  25. Grey's Anatomy Spoiler: Major Death to Come

Lulu, I think it's too out of character for Richard to commit suicide. From the last episode we've seen that he has allowed Adele to be happy. It can't be easy for him... but it's not too difficult that he'll kill himself.
