DAIR is the greatest thing about GG right now. The reviews are out there, Dair is a hot topic. Critics seem to love it and fans seem to love it. It's the ONE romantic couple that had a proper amount of build up and wasn't just random. They weren't thrown in bed together then thrown in an awkward relationship afterwards. Dan is great for Blair, and Blair is great for Dan. Everything that's coming to pass now is basically what Dair fans have been arguing for for many years! Finally it's happening and I couldn't be more thrilled. I hope now Blair realizes there's better men out there for her than Chuck Bass because the things Chuck has done is unforgivable. It's time for a new change
i pretty much love the lovely person with the ariel avatar (anna, i believe?) because i thought the same thing! darren has a better voice than chris and a better prescence about himself when he sings. chris' speaking and singing voice is so high pitched and nasally it's hard to sit through without wincing because all i want him to do is stfu. i don't mind if blaine gets all the solos or even if the warblers switch it up a little bit. but i definitely don't believe he should play second fiddle to chris colfer, it's not a fair fight. and am i the only one who find's lea's voice annoying too? yeah she can sing but i feel like if people are complaining that blaine gets all the solos, then they should be equally annoyed that rachel does too. imo naya and amber have better voices than lea but not even a third of the spotlight that she gets.

i agree. but earlier in the episode aidan mentioned that a month had gone by when dealing with ray. i was confused too at how rapidly things progressed especially when later on a line in the show was josh talking about 'last night' referring to what happened with ray and the vamps. unless we're now lead to believe that the slaughtering of vamps was more than a one time thing for josh and ray...yeah the timeline is confusing me too.
i enjoyed the episode, but after having watched it, i kinda think it should have been saved for the series finale. with haley admitting she's having a girl, and those 'visions' brooke kept seeing, pretty sure that's foreshadowing that she probably will in fact end up pregnant by the time the series is over. it was a solid epi all around and i am eager how they will top it too.
i don't know why people wanted stefan to get with katherine. it would be highly out of character if he did. do people only see who they want and ignore the ones they don't? as far as the episode goes for me, it was the best! i'm glad stefan and kat didn't get it on. in modern times and unlike damon, stefan never showed a real interest towards katherine. he made it clear from the beginning. i know she was interested in him and not damon though. i was surprised as the lack of build up between them in the tomb and the lack of stefan in general, but i felt it was a perfect end. also, tyler was awesome. michael has really stepped up and i'mm so in love with his character it ain't funny.
Does anybody think Gossip Girl will be the next to go? It should. It's getting lower ratings than OTH and it was just barely beating out Life Unexpected.
i love this editorial for the episode. it seemed like such an epic episode but in the end it didn't live up to my expectations. although i get why katherine couldn't 'die' yet, but why on earth would they keep her alive after all of that determination and gusto they showed earlier? also, i wasn't a fan of elena's decision to remain broken up with stefan although i just chalk that up to maybe a sixth sense informing her that there's danger around the corner. so that makes it a little better. and you're right about the death count. but what i'm wondering is when these 'human' characters will learn about the supernatural element. and when will the characters who do know about the supernatural element realize that those UNAWARE of it are at greater risk? that's getting so old. and i hope tvd changes this soon!

the episode WAS a little weird because i don't recall the show ever reenacting music videos like that. i mean there was the sue sylvester 'vogue' thing but i thought that was a really great way to advertise the madonna episode. anyway, aside from the weirdness, i really loved how they incorporated britney in such positive life. brit brit hadn't had that much love from the media lately and i thought the positive undertones of how empowering she can be was really delightful. and that outweighed the 'weird'. and ps. lea michele almost ruined baby one more time. srsly, wtf was that?

1.) katherine knew for sure. she seemed to know a lot when it came to elena's world and her friends and like someone pointed out, given katherine's message to her and bonnie's slip of the tongue. she knew.
2.) i think caroline would be in control of it a lot better than vicki would because we've already seen that caroline is a lot stronger of a person. but i raise a question of my own. how many caught the foreshadowing of caroline's eventual death? i know i did.
