"establishing the stakes" ? How bout establishing some fans first? Come on, the thing is five episodes in. The CAD triangle isn't blowing my mind, and the only thing of interest really was Melissa and Nick. Nick was actually the least developed character and all along I was thinking somewhere down the road, there'd be a Nick-focused episode and we'll get to see him fit in with the group more and more over time. Then you kill him in ep 5, and bring in the brother? Really? Who the eff wants to know about his never before mentioned brother? Bad plan! In the months and months of planning, nobody thought that was a bad idea? And just out of curiosity, how is it even possible for the dude to have an older brother? Weren't all the parents high-schoolers? Unless the bro's an unidentical twin... Geez.

The Secret Circle Review: Who Died?

Vexed. I am very vexed. If it wasn't for the hope that they'd bring him back to life somehow, I'd be done with this. I might still be done with this. If by episode five, my two favorite characters are the two with the least lines, and if in episode five they kill one of those two... What's the point, really?

Ringer Review: What Did Henry Do?

Killer Henry is the best! Five star episode if Gemma's really dead

Terra Nova Review: The Common Cold

I don't even mind if they go for the routine amnesia storyline, but geez. I'm starting to get that this is a remake of Eureka, only with more dinosaurs and less scientists. There is absolutely no reason to keep watching this. This is the worst thing of the season. It started off borderline and became unwatchable by episode 4. So sad.

Who's Viper?

I'm thoroughly confused. Waited until 4 am to watch this to get the horror aspect, but now I'm just confused. Is this supposed to be a series with the same people starring every week? Who's the star of this? Emo girl? Cheating dad? I feel as if I just watched an abridged version to Amityvile. Or Rose Red, or some Stephen King thing. What is this? Somebody tell me what this is supposed to be. All I know for sure is that it's not a comedy. Is it supposed to be a suspense thing? I don't see how, because there's nothing suspenseful about it. Except I know it's not a horror. And why is it so glitchy? I tried it in three different players and then decided it was a style thing, but why? They're going to keep that glitchiness for the entire season? Again, what is this? So much confusion.

looking good!

Missed John Ralphio, but I like 720 for Tom instead of office goofball. Ben and Tom are the best comedy team.
The best- the total overreaction by the crowd when Leslie tries to read her book. and, Ron: Answer her!

Another one bites the dust. (Gloria)
I mean, come on! By season 4, witches should be extinct! Gloria was actually the best part of the episode, with her creepy slow "voodoo" on Stefan. She was badass, knew her stuff, and then, Bam! Death! I knew it was coming, but still! Come on! I'm almost ready to join Bonnie in her hatred of vampires. They have no regard for human life and even less for witches. At this rate I don't even understand why there's not a vampire vs witch war brewing up. Do they get paid to help these vampires? Do they have hefty life insurance plans that leave their families covered to the extent that they don't actually mind dying? Can they not equate "vampires" with "my impending death"? It's like genocide or something... Bonnie's grandmom, Maddox and Greta, Greta's dad and Luca, Bree...Six people do not a genocide make, but these witches have to start opening their eyes. I've yet to see a witch actually kill a vampire!

The Secret Circle Review: Two Key Rules

Best episode yet. Big yay! Loved that the girl was the one that ended up possessed. Somehow, Melissa is ending up my favourite. Cassie's a little boring, but she was way better this episode. It's so good that she knows she's lining herself up to be a homewrecker - nice twist to the classic triangle by having the girl being the one trying to break in. Faye is starting to get a little over the top for me... So my new ranking after this is Melissa, then Cass, then Faye. Diana comes in fourth just for being so ridiculously blind/boring/naggy. Melissa's like the runt of the pack, so sad that I can't help but root for her. Low self-esteem, no parents(?), damaged boyfriend(?), demon possession... Give the girl a break. Five star episode. Didn't even miss the cool dude. Heather jumping the stairs was awesome! In one episode, my interest is cemented. I hereby commit myself to watching this out.
