  1. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

Kaydee.....Wow, that's 2 completely different people. I wonder which one she is really playing. I know mistakes are made, but that's a pretty big one.
Either way, if it gets picked up, we won't see her anytime soon on H50. I wish her good luck though.
  2. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

If the pilot sells, then we won't be seeing Lori back anytime soon. I wish Lauren German good luck. I know for her sake that this is a better situation for her, she is coming in on the beginning.
  3. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

I know I probably should not start this. But I took this off of Deadline/Hollywood about Lauren German:
Lauren German has joined the cast of the NBC drama pilot Chicago Fire starring Jesse Spencer. On Wolf Films and Universal TV’s action-driven drama about the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department, German will play Shay, a fearless EMT who’s as comfortable with the guys in the house as she is with the women. She’s a prankster, always in on the joke and the life of the party. German, repped by UTA and Anonymous, is coming off a major arc on CBS’ Hawaii Five O.

Still having good thoughts about AOL. We get to see him in 2.19, and I'm sure he will be back for 2.21. Then they all get their summer break after a few more weeks of filming, which will be good for all of them.

Masi Oka tweeted back to someone who talked about his upcoming 2.20 episode:
"Thank you, it's been fun filming it. 2 days out of 8 done so far. We miss Alex though."
How sweet to say something about Alex, when not even asked. I love Max, I don't understand why some people don't. His character is what it should be and he plays it beautifully. I'm so glad that they are giving him a shot at his own episode, he deserves it. 5-0 needs their quirky M.E and in 2.20 we will get to see why he is so quirky.
  6. Blue Bloods Review: What Makes Danny Blush?

As far as Frank having a love life, I don't see anything wrong with that. His wife is gone, he's still a human being, many people have significant others after the death of a spouse. I don't think he needs to be a saint and perfect as no one is. I love the way they portray the family dinners and their link to religion, but lets not think that because someone believes in God, that they are perfect or need to become a monk after a spouse dies. Melanie is fine, or a more permanent lady in his life would be fine also.

As for Jaime, I think having him go undercover at this point in his career is a little farfetched. Even though he is the commisioner's son. I would rather see him pay his dues, like all other police have to do.

The scene's about Frank's discovered love life were very funny. I'm sure all of us would blush at some point if it were our parent.

I think they will give him the time he needs. When Scott Caan torn his ACL and had surgery, they worked around that. They showed Danny using a cane and blaming it on Steve. I read that Scott Caan said after that, he did not do as many stunts himself. I hope Alex follows.
  8. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

@jschoi.....I don't think its anywhere near replacing him. If they did I would stop watching, because this is out of the ordinary for Alex, and from what I have read, he's not some jerk to people, and he shows up all the time and does his job. Which is probably what got him into this position.

I know that he is the lead and his character is pivotal, but they could just give more time to the other 3, until his shoulder is completely healed. Which may mean surgery, during the summer.

@Lena....I think you are right, whether it was him or H50, they tried to wait until the season ended, but good for him, or his family, they decided to take care of it now.
  9. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

Amazingalex......I've got your back for the butt kicking, just say the word.

I'm hoping right now, he is just staying away from the TV and the internet. His family also. I think they did the right thing with coming out with it right away, but they knew some of it was going to be nasty. Eventually it will go away.
  10. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

We really don't know the extent, but I cringe everytime someone says he's addicted. Makes it sound like he's on a street corner somewhere. It can happen to anyone. Once the medication runs through his system, then he should be fine. Could take a week, or a month. They need to fix the problem of the pain source, which I think with all the stunts he does was not allowed to heal properly.

Lena.....I did see some really nasty people's comments after you said that on a couple of site, but I think the overall comments were supportive.
  11. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

Hi everyone. I am concerned also, but I think he will be fine. There is difference between tolerance and addiction. Tolerance is when you take a medication for a period of time and then it no longer works and you need it more often or a stronger dose. Addiction is that you take it even when you are not in any pain. Everyone is different, everyone's pain level is different. Pain medication is needed, but everyone's system metabolizes it differently. That's why they have to adjust doses, it also is the same for any other medication.
  12. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

I too have read good wishes for Alex. I'm sorry to hear that there are people that would comment otherwise, but there is always the element that likes to kick people when they are down.

We don't know the extent of this, and we should not speculate. Know that it can happen to anyone. He's getting the advice he needs. I hope he takes whatever time is needed. Alex, your fans and H50 fans wish you well.
  13. Alex O'Loughlin to Take Absence from Hawaii Five-0 for Pain Med Treatment

I thought he was looking better. I hope that he takes care of himself and does not rush back. Although, there is not an H50 without our McG. I hope he has learned to not push himself too much, and H50 has learned to use the stunt men more. Amazing that he could do what he did while in such pain, but we need him back healthy.
  14. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

I hear Alex is having some problems and that he will miss one episode, or at least not be in most of it. I thought he looked better, but apparently he needs to take a little time to help himself. I think he was trying to do too much, hopefully the stunt men will take over now. Shows you how strong he really is to do all that he was doing even though he was in pain. Hopefully, he has learned to not push himself so much, and not take on more than he can handle. I wish him well, because without him we have no H50.
  15. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: That's My Girl!

@Suzie...its not just that her eyes are 2 different colors, she also has a dark mark on the white of her eye which is a birthmark. I think its pretty rare.

For the show, I thought this was a great conclusion. As with the reviewer, I was thinking Kensi's father was alive, but it turns out that he is not, and she is reunited with her mother, that she never talked about. I'm glad Kensi finally has all her answers. I think they should show her as a changed woman, not totally, but there needs to be some change. I am still not a Kensi/Deeks fan, and especially not a Kensi/Callen fan. Let them be a team, relationships should not be with another team member.
As for Granger, I need more to trust him. Would prefer he was not there, just Hetty. Great show.
  16. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

I think you got the critic part down, no need to go to class for that. I think a more positive class would work.
I pointed out that it was the character. By the way, the character was thought of by James Caan, he pitched it to PLenkov.
If it is such a bad show, and its the same people who can't find anything right about any episode, then why watch. Yes, you have a right to say what you don't like, but its like the boy who cried wolf. After awhile people don't believe anymore. I think the Lord has better things to do then listen to this.

@Amazingalex......I agree its way too negative. I would rather just enjoy the show.
  17. NCIS Review: If You're Not Need to Know, You Don't

I liked this episode. I thought the idea of a guy being killed remotely by his pacemaker was very original. I know the 400 beats was over the top, but its TV not reality. I'm surprised the reality police did not mention the fact that Gibbs and Tony pushing around a minor, (at least thats what he looked like) in the morgue was wrong. I thought it was funny.
  18. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

I don't think James Caan, who has been acting for about 50 years, has had numerous recognitions, whose son is one of the leading characters, was acting like an "idiot". It was a character, and a good one. I'm all for the main 4 characters getting good writing. Perhaps we should we get rid of everyone else, make the 4 main characters know it all and do everything, such as the autopsies, lab work, no back up cops, no guest stars, no recurring characters. They could chase invisible people. That's reality.
That power button is still on the remote.
  19. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

Martinelli....I think we all know, its not what is suppose to be done. Yes, you can say its wrong, but when it happens in every show, not just on H50, you can't expect to be shocked by how unrealistic it is. I'm sorry, but if it bothers people so much that they constantly bring it up, then there are other shows. I admit I'm guilty of complaining about a certain character, but then I realized that I'm not in control and constantly complaining is just futile. I still enjoyed the show.

Its like the product placements, yes the subway one was really obvious, but I was watching a season 3 repeat of Burn Notice and there was at least 3 close ups of a six pack and a single beer of Miller in the same episode. That was at least 2 yrs ago, before H50 was on the air. Yet people keep bringing up the subway and other products that are on the show. Its was is part of the modern day show, we may not like it, but its not going to stop.
  20. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

    @Kyra....I agree. This isn't reality.

I wish we could do what TV shows do. Like get run over by a car and fall off a roof in the same day, then go off to do our training on a ship without any problem. I don't think, Star Wars, ET, James Bond, and Poltergeist movies are real either, but they draw millions of people to the theaters. I think there are very few sane people that think Mr. Spock is really a Vulcan. But its entertaining, so we go see them. How is TV any different, its all acting.
  21. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

Two episodes of fun, carguments, and bromance is not a lot considering that we have had very little, that has been funny, in the previous 16 episodes. This is what sold the show. I agree the writing prior to this month with a couple of exceptions was not the greatest as far as the plots, but they have improved on that. Let us have some fun, you'll get your suspense and drama, they have to mix it up. If I wanted Cops or Law and Order, thats what I would watch. This show is great, and the last month is what I'm going to keep on my DVR to get through the summer until season 3.
  22. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

I'm always wanting more Chin and Kono. I have since last season and stated so all along. Since December, we have been getting more of each. Kono standing her ground in the last episode, Chin taking on the Russians. Each of them has been with Steve on various suspect captures, or investigations out of the office. Danny has been getting a lot in the last 3-4 episodes, so they are incorporating them more, especially now that there are 4 again, there will be more time. But you are not going to get each one of them a lot in every episode, there is not enough time. The only one that is going to get a lot in every episode is Steve, and thats because he is the lead character.
  23. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

Favorite moments were, Max having an aneurysm over his dead body being missing. McG saying, "pretend I'm an idiot" and Archer saying "OK" and nothing else. "bookem muscles". The plot had some twists as well.

Danny got a little too overprotective there, but considering what happened to Grace in a previous episode, I think we can cut him some slack. He will absolutely be cleaning his gun, when Gracie's dates start showing up in a few years.

Again it was a fun episode, relax, they won't all be like this. And they have not been like this most of the season, so I think they are making up for it now. Its different then other shows, and I like it that way.
  24. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Archer Hits The Mark

This was another great episode. Loved James Caan, I hope they have him come back a couple of times a season. Loved all the one liners. The cargument with all three of them. McGruff, Magoo, Muscles, hairdo. Very funny. I have seen most people on other sites liking this, but there were those who complained about it being another comedy. Please people, we have had very little of this in the previous episodes. Let us have some fun. More drama will come towards the end I'm sure. Especially because of all the problems with a certain previous character, lets please just enjoy this. It flows so much better now. James Caan added to the episode, he did not detract or take over, he blended in well.
  25. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Return of The Bromance

@Amazingalex......thanks that one works. I'm just not very computer savvy.
Alex looks great doesn't he, and Scott is not too shabby either. Hopefully once this episode airs next month, they can put this to rest.
