  1. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Tamara.....I agree, I loved the Danny/Steve ending as well, it shows how close the two have gotten and how they are their for each other. I like the blow up/ninja cop stuff, but I also like the relationships.

Others think that Danny was being a sap, I thought that it showed exactly what he is about. Father first and cop second. He thought it was his and if it was then Danny and Rachel would still be together. He is just trying to make a bad situation good for his daughter's sake.
  2. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Martinelli.....I think they said Makoto hired Senior McG to investigate the governor, and then we found out that the governor was in with the Yakuza and Wofat. Why? It might be as simple as political gain and money. Remember she was probably the one who replaced the 10 million that was taken to help Chin when he had the bomb strapped to him, which she probably got from either the Yakuza or Wofat.

As one AOL fan, who has been trying to change the subject.....I think that the writing in the last few episodes has been better. I don't find it lame at all. Could it be better? Sure, but they have had some good story lines, and I feel that it is not as disjointed as before because they had too many people to introduce. They have been getting back to the core 4, and probably will do more now that Joe is temporarily out. Although I do like the character of Joe and his relationship with Steve. I think February and May sweeps should give us more questions answered, and more to ask. That's what makes it interesting. If I had as long a list of complaints as some, I don't think I would be watching the show. I'm very confident there will be a third season, the show is strong for its time slot.

Last comment on this. We don't agree. I watch other shows that Alex is not on and not because I think someone is hot, but because they are good shows.
If it makes you feel better to believe otherwise, then so be it. By the way, we were off the subject and you brought it back. I have no contact with the producers. So if Lori is taken off, it is not because of me, its because the majority of people do not like the character, it has not worked out, and they have finally realized it. I don't hear them defending her in anyway. Perhaps you should write them.
  5. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

No I would not watch the show. They would not replace a main character with another actor, people would not accept that. That never works, only on soap operas can they get away with that. The ratings would plummet. Can you say the same for Lori? You like Lori, I don't, I understand your feelings, I've seen characters and shows go off the air that I liked, I did not like it, but I moved on.

Another example: NCIS and Mark Harmon, take him away, do you really think that they would have 20 million viewers. No Way.
  6. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

Alex plays the main character. There would not be a show without him. There is a big differnce between Steve McGarrett and Lori Weston and their impact on the show. If they took Alex off the show would I watch probably not, and neither would 12 million others. The whole show revolves around McGarrett, nothing revolves around Lori.
  7. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Amazingalex.....I think that would be good to show Steve as a seal. But I'm not comfortable with what they might do with Catherine's character. I like Catherine and want her to stay as a recurring character. That's why I would have liked her to come back to Hawaii. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
  8. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

I saw where James Caan will be appearing in 2.18, I think 2.17 is something about a Russian gang or something. I also saw PLenkov tweet that since McG is still in the reserves, that he may be sent off for something in 2.16. That is the one with Catherine. I guess that means she is not back to Hawaii and he sees her where she is deployed. 2.19 is when sister Mary makes an appearance. They all sound like good story lines.
  9. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Amazingalex......I saw other fans on other sites as well who noticed him in 2.13 not looking well. He did look better in 2.14, but you could still tell he lost weight. Maybe he caught a flu or something, that will take it out of you, especially if you have to work the long days they do. 2.15 started filming after their break, so he should be rested and may look his old self.
Still, even his bad looked good.
  10. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

P.S. The next 2 repeats are the 1st and 2nd shows Lori was in, watch them again. Tell me she was not taking up way to much time for someone who just appeared and who the team was suppose to be weary of.
  11. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Jeffrey.......Ahhh Jeffrey, I don't think of it as an assassination. Those that do not like the character have been accused of not giving Lori a chance, we're female and don't want her near Steve, we're jealous of her beauty, we're hateful people, we don't have a life, and there are other excuses that don't come to mind at the moment.
The truth is that we do not feel that the character was needed, nor was she introduced properly, her acting in this role was not very good (and there are those Lori Fans who admitted this themselves), the writers could not make up there minds what she was going to be (something else the Lori fans have agreed with), and she took too much time away from Danny, Chin, and Kono. We are not haters, some have gotten nasty at times, but the same goes with the Lori fans. It's been 14 episodes and Lori has been in 13 of them, if we haven't changed our minds then we probably won't.
  12. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Lena....I believe that Joe was just hiding the fact that he knew who or what Shelburne was, and the question was to see if Steve knew anything about it. He also did the same thing when Wofat broke into his apartment, he was just trying to see Wofat's reaction. Same with Senior McG in the govenor's office, they were trying to see how much Wofat knew. Then Joe tells Steve that Shelburne is something they made up to protect Steve and his sister, and that Wofat thinks Shelburne killed his father, when it was actually Joe.
That is what we know so far, but there is more coming on Shelburne. Joe may be making this up to throw Steve off, we don't know at this point.
  13. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Kelly.....no, the person being killed off is on NCIS LA. We were just pointing out that the producers of NCIS LA had said that Kensi's story line will lead into the H50 Crossover. I agree, I don't really want any death scene with Lori, and again we don't know if she is leaving, that's just speculation from some Lori fans.

@Amazingalex.....true that it could only be that was only a shot at him dialing and nothing more. This show has shown who is calling in, but never made a point of anyone seeing what they were dialing. The point is, did Joe go to Japan to throw everyone off, including Wofat, or did he go to Japan to help Hiro get there. Remember they still have not explained the postcards from Japan to Senior McG, this was all before Hiro was going to Japan.
  14. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

Even if it was 11 numbers, that could be the 1 before the area code. Don't you need at least 14 numbers for an international code. And why did they make a point of showing him punching in the numbers?
  15. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

I meant we know Joe, went off to Japan and Hiro told Adam he was going. I type too slow for my brain, sorry.
  16. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Kim....that's always possible, especially in TV. I know went off to Japan, and Hiro told Adam that he was going to Japan. But when I saw Joe punching in the phone number to call Hiro, I only saw him punch in 10 numbers, which would be a U.S. call. Maybe someone else gets another count, or maybe they did not think anyone would try and count the numbers dialed, and Hiro is in Japan. Wofat would be thrown off, if he thought he was going to Japan, but stayed in Hawaii. Something to think about.
  17. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Jim G......thanks for letting me know about Ausiello. I will trust what he said about other shows I watch. So I guess we have more guessing about Shelburne, is it Joe, or are we still looking at someone else? PLenkov called it a significant turn in the show. Too bad we have to wait another 19 days for more clues, if we get any in 2.15 on this.
  18. Who Will Die on NCIS: Los Angeles?!

@Evan, people do watch H50, and I can't wait for the crossover. I love both shows. 10pm time slot is harder due to people having to work the next day. Look at all the 10pm shows they are all lower then the 8 and 9 ones.

I can't imagine they would kill off Heddy or the core 4, these are all great characters and would be bad for the show. Its probably someone who is coming back. May sweeps will be interesting.
  19. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Martinelli....Papa Caan is a fact, confirmed by CBS and PLenkov. I know you are not a Caan fan, but the story line might be good. You know Steve will protect Danny, so there will be lots of Steve, Chin, and Kono.

I saw that NCIS LA CBS release that someone was going to die. I can't imagine its one of the core 4 or Heddy. Anyone else I'll get over. But I'm thrilled with the H50 crossover. May sweeps looks great for both shows.
  20. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Martinelli....I love James Caan, I hope he plays Danny's father from New Jersey.

I know you watch NCIS LA, on TVline they also said Kensi will have a double episode about her father, and it will tie in to the H50 crossover. I don't know if that is true, but I thought only Callan and Sam were going to H50.
  21. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Amazingalex.....Catherine comes back in 2.16, 2.15 is when Danny's ex partner comes after him.

That's just it about Shelburne, he said it was a code name that they made up and Wofat thinks Shelburne is who killed his father, that's why he wants to kill Shelburne not knowing Joe killed Wofat's father. Is Joe still Shelburne, but there is more, or did Joe tell Steve that to back him off?
  22. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

@Lena.....did you see the question I copied. I don't know if this guy from TVline knows this, but if he printed it from PLenkov, then Shelburne coming to an end was just a tease and H50 has something up their sleeve.
You are right, Joe was calling someone, since Hiro was in the trunk with his hands tied and mouth taped, it wasn't him. It was someone who knew Steve because he said "Steve is getting too close, we have to move you".
  23. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

This was a question in TV Line's Ask Ausiello:

Question: I was wondering if you had any scoops on Hawaii Five-0? —Samantha
Ausiello: Is it too early to start teasing the season finale? No? Splendid. The ongoing Shelburne mystery that seemingly concluded in this Monday’s episode will rear its ugly head again in May. “It’s not over yet,” reveals exec producer Peter Lenkov. “It’s going to wrap up at the end of [the season] and it’s a pretty significant turn in our show.”
  24. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

OK, I'm Lori'd out. Does anyone want to debate anything else?

Jim G. wrote that PLenkov twitted a statement from a fan to him about Joe not telling the truth to Steve about Shelburne. PLenkov showed the statement and his response was, "Hmmmmmm". Is Shelburne over, or is there more to come? I believe Joe will be back, but I think he is still covering up more to protect Steve. I'm glad we found out why Wofat was after Shelburne, because he believes he killed his father, not knowing it was Joe.
What is the next thing Steve will try to find out about? What was Wofat father's connection, that Joe had to kill him for?
  25. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Shelburne, Revealed!

OK, If you believe this then fine. I prefer to wait for someone who is actually in charge. The point is that you have an opinion which I respect, however from your comments, you do not respect anyone who has an opposing opinion. The Lori character does not work. If the actress is affected by comments, which in turn makes her act badly, as what I'm getting from your comment, then she is in the wrong business. There is not an actor on earth who does not have people who do not like them. When a majority speak out about a character, then it is up the producers, writers, and directors to do something, if not then they risk the show not being on due to lack of viewers. There have been shows and characters that I thought should have stayed, but were cancelled. That is life.
