- I'm hoping that Eve hooks up with Cole. They need to give that poor kid something to do and blackmailing Eve could be just the ticket.
- I don't like that Sonny is unhappy. He needs to somehow obtain custody of Ari and get with Paul.

Vikings Season 3 Episode 6 Review: Born Again

Last night's episode was my favorite for the season, maybe of the whole series. I speak as someone who was considering dropping the show after the same dream came to Siggy, Helga, and Aslaug…supernatural doesn't work well with me…but last night was a key reminder of the actual adult complexity of Vikings..funny, feels almost silly to put it that way, but the character interaction, the thoughtfulness, and yes, even the feelings expressed were refreshingly "grown-up" in a way that too much TV simply isn't…for too many shows too little happens that is truly unexpected but plausible, and engaging…amazingly enough a show about Vikings and Northern Europeans set about 1100 years ago is so much better than so much else on the tube that repetitively drags its tired pointless self back week after week…you know? I'm rarely touched by most TV characters typical "tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing." This was different. We LEARNED something, some things last night, about these PEOPLE…sure, Viking people, and early Christians, themselves the great great grand-children of the "barbarians" who had overthrown Rome and then borrowed its Christian religion and culture…or at least tried to… But we LEARNED somethings about these people, and now understand that there's
even more to learn…when a fictional character on a TV show touches your heart there's something going on that,s worth exploring, you know? And YES I'll miss Athelstan, and Siggy, and well, WATCH Rollo, I think he's just getting started…I suspect he's a "late bloomer" whose own Viking career is about to really soar…its as if everything, EVERYTHING up to now, is apart from having its own value, setting up the real action…the rest of this series….long may it bloom! Enjoy,

11 Shows That Should Be Canceled Immediately

Love American Idol. Simon Cowell had another talent show on Fox, you should have watched it and maybe they wouldn't have cancelled it a couple years ago. Simon a has been.

I feel that some fans are unnecessarily rude. I pay attention to it all and interpret it as I see it. That is how consumption of entertainment works. Is it not? If we all watched something and had the exact same thoughts from it, what in bloody hell would we discuss? Why discuss at all. That's your interpretation of the Mellie and Olitz situation and that's fine. That's how you see it. I'm not dismissing your opinion or diminishing your perception of something by saying that you aren't paying attention to what's in front of you and that you're only seeing what you want to see. I guarantee you if that were really the case I'd never actually have constructive criticism for the show because I'd see it as perfect and flawless. I feel like some Hardcore shippers who are so consumed with the pairing they love that that they ignore other aspects of the show entirely if it doesn't fit to their ship are irritating to discuss the show with when they are incapable of attempting to be impartial when discussing aspects of the show but alas I still try to comment and be respectful. Meet me halfway next time.

Love American Idol. The Voice is just a bunch of over grown men pretending they are having fun. The Voice never shows any real talent. LOVE AMERICAN IDOL !!!

The ones that have the lowest score are the shows no one has even heard of. Love American Idol. Hope that show is on for years.

I hope this storyline doesn't devolve into a Juliette vs. Nick soap opera vendetta! They both need to step back, breathe, and come back together with cool heads and open minds (and hearts!). If Nick and Juliette stand side-by-side, that would make them seem even more threatening and/or powerful to certain factions. A Grimm and a Hexenbiest, especially one of Juliette's apparent caliber? Wow. I could definitely see the Resistance attempting to court them as allies, the Royals attempting to control them, and the Wesen Council completely baffled as how to handle the situation.

Thanks. Although the typos when one types on a cell phone are the absolute worst. I know a lot of people can't stand Jake. Aside from the fact that I have always had a soft spot for Scott Foley, I've always liked the genuine friendship between Olivia and Jake. One of the things I truly missed most about season 1 was Olivia's friendship with Stephen. He was her best friend. He was the one who knew her best out of the gladiators. Their relationship felt equal, whereas their relationship with the others felt like the two of them looking after the kids. When he left, it was so obvious that Olivia didn't have any other person there that could be just her friend too. So they tried to make up for it with Harrison and Huck, but they couldn't so but so much with Huck because he's Huck, damaged, socially challenged, sociopathic tendencies and what not. He does guard dog well. He's observant. He calls her out when he needs too, and honestly I love their relationship too, but he's not as reliable for heart to hearts. Harrison stepped up as well, and did great from the being second in command from the office perspective but he didn't have the same intimacy with Olivia as Stephen. So enter Jake with this convuluted spy stuff. Whether all that surrounding him was really necessary is up for debate, but Jake, for me is the closest she's had to the friendship she has with Stephen because she won't let anyone in, and I won't even go into the issue she has with forming bonds with other females, because Abby and Quinn try from their end, but she just doesn't allow herself to be as open and vulnerable with them as she was with Stephen or even how she is with Jake. In some ways Olivia and Jake remind me of the complicated relationship between the Keens on The Blacklist. I think Jake has taken to Olivia as his family and his beacon regardless of if they're sleeping together or not. He's fixated and attached, and in some ways it's like how Huck relies on his connection to her to sustain him. The spy boys are seriously screwed up. I do think Jake gets the brunt of ire, because most of the time he comes across some normal and we'll adjusted compared to a Huck or a Charlie thst suddenly he's held to different standards. Which to me, isn't fair. But whatever. I love that Jake gives us the opportunity to see Olivia in a more vulnerable state, in a normal, not invincible, everyday woman state. Whether it's her dealing with her issues with Fitz or work or her father. I've enjoyed Olake because of their actual friendship. Twisted as it is. Whether they are together or not in another sense doesn't faze me either way, but until they do what I've wanted them to do, which is give her a nice bond with a female in which she gives as much as she gets (they're doing a little better on the Abby front), Jake is it. He's her bestie. Meredith Grey and Christina Yang twisted sisters dancing and drinking together bestie. That's why he always serves a purpose to me. The problem is writing around that particular purpose he serves without beating the B613 horse. He needs a job. Make him part of OPA now, or give him an outside job. Maybe make him a P.I who occasionally crosses her path in the field since he does that type of work anyway. Ironically Jake is the male version of a Mary Sue. They don't know what to do with him when he isn't serving a purpose for the female lead. It's kind of amusing seeing the gender role reversal but I like Jake. They could work something out for him, and maybe they're already addressing it, so who knows.

ROFL - Jake is Olivia's bestie on Scandal? Please stop trying to make Jake relevant. Huck,Abby and Cyrus are more of a bestie to Olivia than Jake. Hell Jake did not even notice that Olivia always wore the same ring on the same finger and he is supposed to be an observant spy. He never talked to her about her work only about saving him, eating burgers and drinking beer, belittling Fitz and killing Rowan. When they came back from the island and were in bed, he wanted to have sex and berated her for talking about the case she was working on at the time for her friend Katherine. In contrast Fitz and even Edison appreciated Olivia for her brain and not her sex appeal. Jake does not take pride in her professional skills and has never complimented her on her intelligence and the work that she does. Olivia is a prize to him that he thinks he stole from Fitz who he resents as the rich guy who gets everything. Even Rowan said the Jake was stupid fake who could get nothing done correctly but goes around trying to swagger. Rowan hates Fitz more passionately because he knows Fitz is who Olivia loves and that Fitz is his real competitor for Olivia's heart and soul. Rowan is pretty much indifferent to Jake who he does not see as a threat. To be honest, Olivia and Edison had a more interesting relationship than Olivia and Jake. It could be that Scott Foley is just a bad actor since the writers tried so hard to build up the Jake character by tearing everyone else down (Olivia, Fitz, Huck, Quinn, Charlie, etc,) but he is still blah - bland and boring. And no, OPA does not need Jake. He brings no different tool set to the firm. Huck and Quinn have it covered and maybe they should get a financial expert or a litigator to replace Harrison an Stephen. The Jake character has outlived his usefulness and B613 needs to go away completely. The best episodes this season have had nothing to do with B613. Most reviewers/critics agree that the shows needs to do away with the spy nonsense and get back to its roots - OPA handling cases. Here is a suggestion for the Jake character lovers, Shonda should do a spin off and give Foley his own show. That will spare the rest of us the torture of watching his so-called acting and the bad spy stories.

What's the Worst Show on TV 2014?

Love, love, love AMERICAN IDOL. I hope to hell they don't take that off the air.
