I'm confused about who in fact were the evil angels cleaved in two? At the end of season one was the head vampire killed (Dracula)? At the end of season two was Lucifer killed by Vanessa crushing the doll's head? Inspector Rusk is great. I hope his story line stays in season 3. I'll miss Sembene. I've been saying in these blogs that I'd like both a Sembene and a direwolf for my home:) Hank, Your recap is excellent. Thank you.

UK autumn seems sooooo far away... I have just watched all episodes and specials of "New Who" and I am missing Donna. She just 'got it' when it came to The Doctor. "Journeys' End" is one of the VERY few episodes of any show that I have followed that made me cry. Clara still doesn't fill the void for me companion- wise. Definitely Donna Noble all the way for me! I hope they can bring her back, if only fleetingly, in the future.

Autumn IS too far away! (At least for those of us on the "top" of the world - sorry - just couldn't resist - and I DID try!)
-
And you're right - Donna was a MUCH better companion - if only for the lack of romance-themed everything.
-
I'm re-reading some of the comments from those who don't like Capaldi's Doctor - I only hope that no one in production takes them seriously, because Capaldi's Doctor is SOooooo much better than the angst-ridden "tragic hero" doctors of the 21st century!
-
He won't be back soon enough for me!

I gave the show some meta credit with the Sheriff's date, IRL they are actually married. I did think Natalie might provide us a random throwaway like when she told us Coach's first name is Bobby that she might have yelled his first name during that whole thing, but no. But, well, that just leaves Liam's parents and Scott's dad out of the loop, right? Though we don't know how much Lydia explained to her mother after the discovery of not her grandmother's ashes.

Really? They are married in real life? I didn't know that! Good scoop!

You're not watching the show it is clear that the Rock and Sean are on one side and Drill is the Adversary. Plus Drill communicates with the children thru games because Drill is a child too. This theme is as old as time (Ghost Whisperer). The only thing that suggests alien in this show is that "Rock" passed thru space 200 light years away. For all we know Drill is only part of the entity's name and it may actually be from a parallel dimension. Perhaps the "Rock" was sent by our "Guardians" the possibilities are endless and if you need spoon feeding explications perhaps you should watch on of Law and Order.

I love April and Leo, but with SMF's availability always being a factor, I doubt him being the endgame choice for April. Part of me would love to see them go through with the wedding, and then for Leo to relapse and pass. It would be good service for April and Leo fans, and a great character growth opportunity for April and would open the door for a Dominic/April reunion. Can there also be kudos for Italia Ricci? She knocks it out of the park every week.

I agree about SMF's availability. Luckily, he is in most of this season because they got a head start before he heads off to film Blood and Oil.

UnREAL Season 1 Episode 6 Review: Fly

I completely agree with your review even though I know that bipolar disease is known for a high lows and downs, Mary's family and the neclace was a the all time high and then the confrontation with her ex husband was het all time low. I knew when they said in the show bipollar disease that Mary would go mental. I just couldn't have though that Chia would give the extra push and change her medication. I mean what kind of a person does that. Bipolar people are unstabble as they are and then changing the medication?! The moments between Adam and Rachel were sweet!
I knew when Chet gave Quinn a peace of Everlasting that he would try to win her back, i mean that was his agenda from the start. He gets to spent more time with her and win her back on his good side. And sadly it happend until Quin again was put with her nose on the fact : Chet has a wife who is pregnant! I hope Chia is caught and that Mary is alive and stabble so she can be a mother and a family again with Lilly Bell THANK YOU lifetime, for renewing my FAVORITE show! SPOILER!! From seeing the promo ( http://youtu.be/4w9vI-DfuvE) of next week : I think she is sadly dead! The show is going to face some drama with the girls and lawsuits are going to come their way!

Based on previews Mary is dead. Shia should be locked up because though not directly killing her, she is the sole cause of the events that led to her jumping. Hopefully we see more of Grace to make up for the loss of Mary since my mawga stick has been spewing that Mary should be the star but now we need another lady to take up the mantle and ride this thing home. Between Adam & Rachel and Quinn & Chet, i can't decide who I am rooting for more.

Major Crimes Season 4 Episode 5 Review: Snitch

I easily give this episode 5 / 5 right away. Sykes, unlike the rest of MCD, is the additional member coming in after Brenda had retired. She is a new member to a team, but after 3 seasons she has stopped being apple-polishing and goes straight to a sharp-wit detective. She could have gone the easy way by introducing the girl, Amira (which we will never know her last name, and I confused hers with the victim's even :D poor old me), to the investigation... yet she closed all the doors leading back to this girl and kept her mouth shut until the very moment the grandmother walked into the office. Partly, I think she has seen how bad people got thrown in the line of fire, especially ones who cannot defend themselves, from her veteran time in Afghanistan (in '03 as referred in the series premiere "Reloaded") as well as in S.I.S. and MCD as well. She was the one, along with Chuck Cooper from S.I.S. namely her current boyfriend ;), who trained Rusty for the operation to catch the Letter Man (anyone remember the mysterious letters and Emma Rios attaching along in season 2? I miss her sometimes) ... do you want to know how serious she can be? The episode "Year-End Blowout" in season 2 episode 17 proves the point of hers so well. (for people who remember that scene ... I know some of you smile :D ) Being a witness is not an easy task. I have shared my experience and tasted the worst of it. Last season in the episode "Trial by Fire" (s03ep14) the poor Claudia Gomez testified against her gang fellow but got a cold feet and let him get away from the prosecution. From that, she had to pay the price by being arrested for a murder of a teenager and had to leave her newborn daughter with her sister. You go against the high-power perpetrator, you risk yourself exponentially. Here in my country, we don't have turf war or gangbanger situation (I won't count the killings in deep south because that's more like bounty kills of civilians and authorities) so Witness Protection program is not known here. But living under fear and discomfort is not very unfamiliar. I once went against the corrupt system by whistle-blowing a lecturer of my department snatching my research payment. By doing so, she is currently undermining my thesis proposal and I wasted 2 semesters until I could get the approval, yet she is currently interfering my work with current adviser and going to become the head of committee for my defending. My situation is a bit better than this little girl because there is no physical harm (apart from annoying academic crap I have been spending for 3 years and a half for this Master's degree and onward until I am dropping out or graduating.. my choice) but for a witness against a gang, it is not the easy thing to do. When you go against these people, a complete eradication is necessary or this hydra will grow two new heads and bite you instead. Anyway i love how Raydor turns the table around and wraps the rope (as Sykes said) around 2 murderers and hurl them into prisons. Speaking of Raydor, have you seen the last minute of the episode? Oh my goodness, I completely burst into laugh and joy! Flynn is not a great guy, but after his ups and downs, he seems like a nice guy for her. After a crappy marriage for twenty and oh-how-many-more years of having Jack on her back, Sharon needs some decent man to treat her better more than leaving her to deal with debt and raising 2 kids through college alone. I truly hate spouse who runs off and leaves another half to deal with the mess behind. XP (Love the moment she whispered to herself :D xxx )

I'm sorry about your difficulties. I thought it was really important that the show showed how dangerous it can be to be a witness. Your last paragraph summed up the last scene perfectly.

Thank you Sally. I was worried that people may hate me because I was blabbering too much. I am grateful to your patience to read it all :)

Liam's girl seems a little off, she was way to calm after having her arm nearly broken, wasnt affected by the Kanima venom, and her wound healed. Also Kira going full Kitsune on Tracey was awesome.

This show is getting aggressively stupid. I'm hating it more every week. This is not the sort of show I usually watch, so I thought I would try something different. Oh well, it's worse than I thought it might be. I won't try another show like this for a long time!
