Considering this was an episode with Bishop as one of the two front center characters I'll give my two cents before the usuals flood the posts with the usual 'we hate or didn't watch the episode yet still take the time of day to rant about it' now after the first two episodes it makes sense that Gibbs and Tony took a backseat this week. Tony has always been the jokester doing comedic shenanigans for the sake of light humour so I found his ancestry dna test amusing also to hear mention of his uncle clive its nice to have these little references that longtime viewers can pick up on the fact Tony's ancestor was a thief really says a lot about his pops probably really hope his ancestor speculated being jack the ripper isn't true would really tarnish the Dinozzo name. Case wise it was fun seeing McGee and Bishop out in the field both past and present probies work well together I'm pretty sure Bishop went undercover as a marine was because of the talk she had with Gibbs last year about undercover work and while one could argue about her brawl with Lt. Hudson its good to see the writers establish Bishop has spunk and that she can hold her own if need be without the ten ways of using a paperclip as a weapon, two things however in her attempt to show initiative Bishop forgot rule 3 and left her cell at the safe house careless move I'm also not a fan of this whole marriage strain schtick its become sort of a stereotype among police shows. McGee is starting to exhibit a lot of the traits Tony grew out of being pouty almost offended because Tony didn't mention his rough patch with Zoe and answering other people's phones hopefully its just a phase and he doesn't make a habit of it. Gibbs its good to see despite his changes there's still the same old gruff tough love understanding compassionate agent we've known for 12 years his comments on Tony's Brit accent were proof of that as was him listening to Tony about why the dna test was important to him when Tony said he has family on his mind. Okay ep in all.
Lousy. Bad. Worst ever.
So far, good start. Curious to see where it's going.
What was the show trying to say? That nobody should be charged with hate crimes? Hate crimes do exist, and many who commit hate crimes are not so likeable. Matthew Shepard's murders clearly intended to kill Matthew because he was gay. Brandon Teena was raped and murdered because she was transgender. The statement the show makes: hate crimes aren't that bad, and people should not be punished more severely for them, is wrong. Very rarely are hate crimes so ambiguous, and the prosecuter wouldn't have needed to wait that long for a clear hate crime to be committed. They happen often, but that's not what the show portrayed. I'm disappointed and in SVU and will not be watching it again. By making the defendant so young, and likeable, and the crime not so bad, and the prosecutor waiting for a crime, not finding one and needing to make this one a hate crime, they have said: hate crimes are not that bad. They have lied.
Where the hell were the kids in this episode? :) I guess you don't actually need to show them, but I've never seen a mom with three kids under 5 able to spend time arguing with someone in the kitchen while pouring coffee and about to go to work without having one of them attached to her leg. Where were they - strapped in the car leaving 5 year old Zola to take care of year-old Ellis? And forget sledgehammering at night - I'm pretty sure Amelia would have woken them up along with Mer when she started in the morning.
MR blew the budget on sfx, thinking that no one would notice the shortage of writing.
Wow. didn'treally like the murder of the week. Nice to see another Alumni of VeronicaMars. Byron was Max on VM for those who didn't recognize him. I hate the waythe Major story line is going. Gilda may be evil but damn is she hot. I suspecther story line is not going to have a happy ending. I always liked Payton, especially towards the end of last season. Hope Payton shows up soon. Maybe the Payton Ravi romance still has a chanceLiv's grumpy old man was a little over-the -top in my opinion. You would think that Clive would wonder what is up with her personality shifts. but maybe he just figures that is what psychics are like. Liv did a good job with Blaine. but he turned Liv and his Zombie radar went off. so its only gets turned off with turned not turners. I wonder if that will become an important disctintion.
I couldn't place him, but NOW I got it. Thanks for the Veronica Mars tip!
I knew Blunt was going to kill himself at the end, because he was nothing but a coward and a sociopath who had no intention of going to prison (life or on death row).
Today, I happened to find a new trailer on the facebook page for Satisfaction USA dated Oct 5 captioned "It's always better the second time around. Watch it because it's hard to explain and see some amazing things.
Does anyone know what is the name of their son?
