It's Brandon's... OBVIOUSLY... Kelly talks on the phone, late at night, it's Sammy's father (can't deny that) a day - few days later speaks to Brenda 'Brandon says to tell you you're beautiful', Kelly's reply, 'Yeah he told me when he called at 3 a.m from...' Um... is 3 a.m late at night? :) It COULD be a trick, but why? I hope it's Brandon anyway... Jason Priestly, come back!

In the second episode Kelly says the father is someone who she had a past with in HIGH SCHOOL and briefly got together with 4 yrs. ago. I hope it's not... but it sounds more like Steve.

If it is someone from High School. That would be Brandon, Dylan, or Steve. However when she was with Brandon she had a miscarrage & was told she could never have children. So what happened???

Is it me...or does he look like Steve? Although he was married with a kid at the end of the original series. I am hoping it is Brandon.

If u remember in the pilot episodes, Brenda was very insistent on Kelly going out with the teacher dude while they were outside by the door. This proves even further that brandon couldnt be the father. Brenda wouldnt be so insistent.
Plus, Kelly never dated Brandon in high school.
Plus, Brandon would never leave his child. That is very out of character.
The fact that people are discussing it could be steves is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!! If u have watched all 10 seasons of the original, you would understand. Kelly & Steve had no chemistry, hook ups for all 10 years. Kelly had no interest in steve from day 1 of the show.
It has to be the onle & only.... Dylan Mckay.

OK, Brandon and Kelly never had a thing in high school that was college and considering the fact that they almost got married, lost a baby, and always remained close I can't imagine her referring to him as a hook up four years ago. I would also be shocked that he wasn't a part of the baby's life or that Jim and Cindy wouldn't be all over a grandson.
Kelly is Steve and Janet's daughters godmother and even though they did have a thing in high school you would have a hard time convincing me that IF Steve ever had a real chance with Kelly he wouldn't jump on it. But with that said, I also don't think she would refer to Steve as a hook up.
Dylan is the most logical choice. He and Kelly only really dated in high school, it was over fresh year in college. When the series ended they only hinted they were getting together, Kelly still wasn't convinced he wanted the whole package- remember her showing up at his house saying here I am but I want it all marriage kids, etc. And he really never committed.
BUT I think they could be messing with us all and Jake Hansen could be the one! Total hook up material, had a thing in High School. definately wouldn't stick around. And since his CBS show doesn't seem to be catching on he would be a good return for the Melrose fans.

Okay, I’m going to go out on a limb and say John Sears. Remember, this is the guy that Kelly lost her viginity to in high school. They also hooked up in college. Even though, she thought he was a jerk in the end, maybe they saw each other and things rekindled and they had a one nighter resulting in Sammy. Afterall, you never forget your first. Just a wild guess, but anything is possible. Although, I really want Brandon to be the father.

I REALLY HOPE DYLAN IS THE DAD! I MEAN COME ON HOW PERFECT...Brenda's back...pushing Kelly to date the teacher to get Kelly out of the way so she can be with Dylan...It will totally bring nostalgia to the love triangle from high school and let's be honest, those were some of the best episodes ever. It would be typical for Dylan to leave and want to come back and if you remember back to the last season Jackie Taylor (Kelly's mom) made reference toKelly picking up Dylan's messes in high school (even though that wasn't the case it was the Walshes) it would completely make sense for her to refer to "him" and will he come back and be in the child's life...DYLAN ALL THE WAY BRING LUKE PERRY BACK WE SHOULD GET A PETITION!

i just saw it a minute ago....
i dont know the entire story from the old series....but i feel really bad for Brenda!
