There's no reason to feel bad for Brenda. She was only on the show for a few years & Dylan & Kelly got together while she was still on the show. Plus, there were storylines about Kelly & Dylan being "soulmates" and in the last season Kelly couldn't go thru with her engagement to Matt because she was still inlove with Dylan. They got together in the last episode of the original. The only thing that makes me question is why they broke up again, just to hook up again for a night when Sammy was created! Those two were always off & on....But always meant to be.

I really thought Brandon was the Dad. I was screaming at the tv when they said it was Dylan. Is anyone else as excited that I am that this show is back?

Like I said earlier, as soon as I heard that Dylan was the father, I promptly picked up my iPod and put "Losing My Religion" on repeat.

Could be brandon but i dont think he would spend to much time away from his kid if he had one, hes more of a family man.
Dylan makes a lot of sense. he's had his dad dissapear many times. so maybe he feels he isn't qualified to be a father,
Matt, maybe but most likely not.
Steve, has a daughter who he's supporting in every way. don't see him abandoning his kid, or cheating on his wife even.
don't think kelly dated anyone else worth making the father, excited to find out though,,,,,,, hope its brandons though just cuz i liked him and kelly together the best

I think maybe it was a teaser, and that Brenda made a freudian slip. And in actuality She(Brenda) is still in love with Dylan and can't move on. Because Dylan did disappear to Europe for a long time with her. So I'm thinking that the babies daddy is not Dylan, but it is Brandon. I also think that even though Kelly and Dylan had this on and off again relationship, that the biggest Dylan relationship was with Brenda, and Kelly's biggest relationship was with Brandon. I don't know that she and Dylan were soul mates, I think it just made a clever ending to the show, but years of watching it, I didn't really see that till the last few episodes, and felt it was completely twisted in to throw us all for an interesting loop. Brenda and Dylan belong together, and Kelly and Brandon belong together. And I wish they'd bring Donna and David back!

I was hoping it would be Dylan, however, the logical way to go for writing, would be for Brandon to be the father since Shannon D. can't seem to hold a job down on any show. The likleyhood for Jason Priestly to be written back in would be a higher chance than Luke Perry, because I don't think Luke Perry is interested in coming back. If they could really put some money out and make an offer Luke Perry couldn't refuse and also keep it hush hush, you would see ratings sky rocket through the roof if he is truly the baby daddy!
