Writing out Ryan and Debby a HUGE mistake?

I understand why they have to farewell a high school teacher, but knowing that 90210, is based in Los Angles. I can only gather that ALL of the teens will be going to a uni based in the area if they're remaining on the show. So, why write out Debra? Annie and Dixon can still visit her. OR, live there. I mean, it would save their family money. And considering their 'financial difficulties', you think they would.

I mean, yes, the teacher is probably one of the most useless characters, but he does get decent storylines  - unlike Dixon - but seriously, why boot out a character so easily? In season 2, he did opt a career change. Why not give it to him?

This show lost Tabitha. Then Ethan, followed by Harry, and now, Deb and Ryan are both next out the door. Anyone else finding this an idiotic thing to do?

I didn't want debbie, to be written off the series ... i didnt care a lot about ryan! But, it will be really difficult for the writers, to write these two characters off .. i hope one of them gets killed, and this would become the reason he/she writtens out of the series

If they kill them off. I feel that would be silly. One, because Ryan has a son. And two, Annie and Dixon would be distraught and would cause a huge thing like potential suicide of one them... Actually, wait, yes. Kill of Debbie.

I don't agree with this write out very much either. For me, the show needs Debbie because there are barely any parents on the show at all. The only parents that they show are Debbie and Laura. Seeing as how Annie and Dixon will be going off to college you'd think that having a parent in the situation would be important. I think the whole child-parent relationship is something the show already lacks so all the more now with this write out. And as for Ryan, I get that as a high school teacher they'd want to write him out but he still has a story with Jen and Naomi seeing as how he has a son. What's going to happen to that then? Is Jen just never going to come back and seriously abandon her son?

I think Ryan should still be used. I think Adrianna should go back to high school in season 4 to complete her education. They can also find a better storyline for the character in the way of Ryan and Jen. Also, with Deb, it dosent matter how old Annie and Dixon get. They're both gonna need emotional support from their parent(s). Characters can always be used. Writing them out is probably a a budget reason, but if not, it's pure laziness in their department of thinking.

I agree. It's very easy for them to find a substantial storyline for these two characters because they've played relatively important roles since the show started. I feel like this write out isn't really being done for the benefit of the show's storyline development because these characters can bring a lot if utilized properly.

The writers need to be booted, along with the executive producer. She's ruined the show...

And the actors need more lessons. I know that I am not the best actor, and I don't expect Angelina Jolie on here, but I also don't expect some cheap actors with the acting skills of a porn star.

I like the show. I like characters. I like the storylines. But they're not using them right. I feel like I am watching a parody.
